bought the six man ages ago not used it yet so you've made life lot easier as it never had instructions so cheers for the decent demo.
Clear, concise and full of useful information.
Pitching the sendero 4 today, lifesaver
Saving this video as going camping for the first time and it's the same tent. Thanks
Ian you legend the best 10 minutes of my life watching you pitch this tent 2020 😂 ... Thank you 😁
what 10 minutes? did you watch it more than twice?
Great little video
I bought a 4 person eurohike sendero 4 ,and thanks for the tip . Going to take my tent to my locol festival at the end of July in Wales at Steelhouse weekend , can't wait.
Absolutely super demo. Thanks it was just what I needed
For years my other half and myself struggled to put up our 4 man tunnel tent. Many swear words could be heard drifting across the camp site. Last year I went to a local site by myself just to check it over before the camping season.
It was windy and I thought this will never work. Pinning the corners down and putting in the middle pole first followed by the front then the back was incredibly easy. In fact it was easier and way less stressful than both of us working on it. When I put the front one in I guy roped it out just to be on the safe side because it was rather windy. The tension of the pegged out corners kept the middle one up.
I’m considering the six man one at the moment . Only one left in the store this has really helped with decision thank you
Same here lol
I just got one today looks perfect for download festival 23!!!
Used this video today but feel a few parts were skipped or too fast. Let’s hope it stays down overnight 😂
Just bought the sendero 6 tent today and it came with 0 instructions life saver 👍🏼
Ian keep the poles in their order lol.
That vid makes me laugh everytime.
I decided against putting the pins in the end of the poles as it is very tight and felt like it was going to damage the pole. Its fine to just put them through the metal ring then peg that down. Also I used more heavy duty pegs along with the pegs it came with. Hopefully that's of some help to someone.
Thank you for such a wonderful video that explains it all so clearly... Best wishes..
Great little video. It was very helpful. Thanks 👍
This was very useful, thanks for this video!!
I needed close up of putting the pin in and securing it
Thank you so much for your help
Marvelous I hope I can achieve the same tensioning
The face of British camping!
Very helpful! Thank you!
Easiest way to pitch a tent?
Cinemax after dark.
Just bought a sendoro 4 , found the middle pole very tight to get the peg in the end of the pole , watched the video and it doesn't show him getting the peg in, bit of a fault or eases with wear?, any tips,,went by the video.
Same problem.
I cut a very small piece off one end of one pole to make it easier.
I’ve just bought the Sendero 4 tent from go outdoors, but it’s from eurohike and not freedom trail. Does anyone know if this is the same tent? I love the size of this one but I’m not sure if it’s the same as the one I just got
Same as that mate.
@@michaelreynolds9463 thank you!
Nice little tent fella,,,,, little tease
Does the tent not need pegging at the base of each pole?
Does anyone know any 2 bedroom inner tents that would fit a Sendero 6 like from a different tent or something
Great tent for the price easy to put up even better with universal porch at front 😀
Any chance of a link to one of those porches please.
Download anyone?😂
Yep! I bought the 6 man version of this tent for Download. I did my research and beware if you buy this tent, buy a roll of velcro. A design flaw is that the door of the tent does not zip at the bottom and only has a little clip in the centre, so in the wind and rain it will flap about and let water in. You'll wanna attach velcro to the bottom of the doorway and the door so it doesn't flap about in the wind.
NOTE: Do not use foot to push tent pegs in the ground.
Why not?
guy lines are meant to be in line with the poles and also the seams, all you are doing is stressing the tent seam and pulling the poles away from their natural shape.
That bit about the poles being colour coded always confuses me.
"The red pole goes in the red hole"
No, I'm just not getting it.
Your wife must really love you then, lol :)
@@chorltonwheelie168 your mind is in the gutter
Didn't show how to peg tent down with groundsheet or even which way g.sheet goes, I know how to put poles in a tent, sorry just moaning got a second hand tent and it's all a mess stressing me out lol
Groundsheet is sown in so no need to worry.
