Hi Mike, thanks for watching. I'll play again, I got a plan now...LOL
@@HissyCat, want to give this a try ... maybe in March!
@@MeanderingMikesManCave Cool. =)
A brave fight, better luck next time! Thanks for showcasing this game!
Hi Zilla, thanks for watching, I am sure I can invade Russia and win, I mean it wasn't hard in real life... right?
You are really liking those book games Hissy.
Hi Nerd, Yes I am, they are very well designed IMO and portable, great combo. =)
The cat wants to be in your business! Cool stuff.
Hi Boos, yes she does. She loves to help and play with the dice. =)
I liked your run through. I think this game is much better than both Bismark and Waterloo solo and I am inclined to buy it. Bismarck had very limited possibilities and strategy. Waterloo was one step up but it still lacked a lot of strategy. On to Moscow offers more in my view, both in content as in strategy.
Of course these are not exactly John Butterfield solo games but not every wargame needs a 20 hour playing time and advanced AI Bots either.
Are there other games in this series that are on the same level as On to Moscow or is this the most advanced one?
Again great video but just one tip: turn off the music 😎, certainly in the end comments section 😜.
9/10.
Hi The BoBo, thank you for watching and your feedback. I agree with you about Bismarck, I have not played Waterloo yet. I liked both Guadalcanal and Coral Sea, and found both to have a fair amount of player agency. Having said that, IMO On to Moscow is the most advanced Gamebook I have played to date. Point taken about the music, I am always trying to level up the video production and sometimes its too much. =)
Only have played once and the Germans got there backsides handed to them but I had fun.
Hi, Charles, Kind of the same experience...LOL
