Congrats on a successful move-in Grace! Just a tip since you are just starting college right now: Don't bring/buy many unnecessary stuff in your room as of this moment. As you go along with your college life you are going to have to buy things that are more important. Just be as MINIMAL as possible and let the stuff flow in as natural as time goes by. Stop yourself from being impulsive because it's gonna save you a lot of money and stress when the time comes. You don't want to throw away things in the future because you realized that your room is getting smaller with all the stuff that you don't actually need. You are gonna have a lot time fixing and decorating your room in the days to come. Just don't rush things. Anyways, the best of luck and God bless in MIT! 🙂😊😁

You were pushing the cart - maybe you figured it out, but carts/dollies with two rotating wheels by the handle & two fixed wheels at the opposite end should are easier to pull. Maybe you've already done so, I didn't see this, but will look again, but I would love it if you did a more detailed video about your experience at MIT (particularly as a female & BioE major, but only b/c my daughter, a current senior, is considering BioE, though a lot of schools she is applying to only offer BioMedical Engineering which at first glance sounds similar to BioE but digging into it seems very much not similar and thus will be a compromise). What is the culture, how is the work load & the stress (I saw one video where you were crying talking about the work load), does MIT take mental health issues seriously, what is campus life like (my experience was long & linear, so long walks from Simmons to pretty much any building that might have classes, etc.). Also, are classes taught by professors or teaching assistants (when we were in Boston for unofficial tours in August, we met up for with friends also touring colleges for ramen & the mother doesn't want her son, a perfect fit for MIT, to go to MIT b/c she thinks all classes are taught by teaching assistants - I think some classes are better taught in a small group by a T.A. than in a large lecture hall by a professor, but I'd be surprised if upper level classes are not taught by professors). An aside, my wife & I are architects & Steven Holl has been one of my favorite architects since college (though admittedly, I greatly prefer his early small works to his later larger/institutional work), so the building intrigues me. unfortunately, concrete floor & concrete ceiling, I'm guessing the acoustics are horrible inside the dorm rooms. Frank Gehyr/Stata Center meh, but in the "eastern block" feeling campus of MIT, it's a much needed relief.
