Epic county! Your video reminded me why I got the 'enhanced ' WA driver's license so I can travel into Canada for big wilderness like you shared on your video. Thanks for sharing your adventure! Awsome!

Great photography, Andrew. Thanks for taking the time to film, edit and post.
Now get back to Selway~Bitterroot Wilderness and stop with the Grizz encounters!

My wife and I just discovered your channel and are getting caught up on your backlog of videos. We have one comment and two questions.
C1: Your videography is beautiful. Adding a musical score would take it to the next level.
Q1: Why don't you use trekking poles? I never used to use them either, but once I started I couldn't believe how much they helped.
Q2: I like beer as much as the next person, but would never backpack it. We just watched one video (Gospel Hump) where you packed in 4 cans! At least 5 extra pounds! Yikes!

thank you! Personally I'm not the biggest fan of music on nature scenery when it's winter and lacey and I are rewatching our trips we like hearing what the sound was like there. I will add music for ending montages of bigger trips or for timelapse footage where I'm too lazy to edit realistic sounds in post haha. As for trekking poles I'm kind of weird, I just don't like holding stuff for long periods of time, carrying my camera around kind of annoys me too but I know I'll appreciate it for memory sake later in life.
And for hiking beer in, yes it's a lot of weight but if my body can do it then oh well haha, if the feds legalized cannabis maybe I'd try that, but for now if you have a CDL they are only ok with the holders getting drunk, not high.

I hope Lacey was wearing sunscreen on the peak ascent. Grizzly bears, big horn rams, and a booming waterfall are standouts in this video. As is your time lapse photography.
