Sonu Nigam deserves soo much for all the talent he has! I know people might take offense but he is simply the best (maybe of all time) . Name one who has such a divine voice, is the perfect host and anchor, has a great understanding of music,so quick at catching other singers styles and learning from them. But still so humble respecting both elders and juniors. Teaching their importance to the upcoming generation. Who'll do the same for him? I don't think there is anyone for him. That really makes me emotional

Sonu started getting sidelined by music mafia since 2013 it all started in 2013, when the law was passed in indian constution for singers right for royalty, when he spoke agaisnt ill practice and illegal contracts of music companies which stated that 80 percent of amount singers earn from concert will go to music labels.. He didn't signed contracts ... For which many of sonu songs in mainstream films went to arijir, javid ali,... From t series to zee music sonu nigam was all banned.... Music companies said that they will not buy an album which have sonu nigam song so his song had to be dubbed by other singers..... Sonu choose to be at right side at stake of his carrier.... People thought that arijit singh took over sonu nigam but its not the case sonu had announced his retirement after tussle with music labels in 2013 only way before aashique 2 got released.... He easily remained very much in mainstream business had he remained silent and spineless over wrong doings in music industry....

I think u r not aware of other singers like, shabbir kumar, mohd aziz, udit narayan they also not less than sonu nigam. What I am trying to say is, sonu nigam is no doubt a best singer, but he is not the only one. Sonu nigam, udit narayan shabir kumar, mohd aziz they all fall in same category. All have unique style melody so all will give same pleasure in voice but with different melodies.
Ilaiyaraja the legend for music composing. He knows the life of each melody, and symphonies, he could describe a person's feeling through a simple melody. And that's no doubt why A.R RAHMAN is too popular since he's a student of Ilaiyaraja
