I really hope this becomes a thing. We've been getting throwback-boomer shooters for these last years ever since DOOM made the genre popular again. Maybe the release of MGS Delta (plus the Master Collection) and the Splinter Cell Remake will inspire people to create throwback stealth games like this.
I'd be happy if we see the Splinter Cell remake, but every project for almost a decade Ubisoft has tried, from sequels to a VR game, has failed. Think about that, UBISOFT thought they were awful enough to cancel. I'm just glad we got Sam in a campaign arc of Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
I just want a Open World (Predator Stealth) Punisher game 😔
Same dev is now making a short MGS3/Ground Zeroes style game inspired by the scum & villainy side of Star Wars, called "Under A Star Long Cold"
We really do need more stealth games like this. Still waiting for the next splintercell.
Didn't Ubi cancel it?
@@_ghostly_ I'm not sure, but i keep hoping for it to come.
Another amazing video, more games should go with up-rendered PS1 graphics. Currently showing a friend your Breakpoint Vids to show the game's potential. Everything you make is so cinematic, glad the algorithm blessed me with your content.
You said it perfectly🎉
5:01 “Didn’t say Simon says. Thems the rules” 😂 that cracked me up!
Let's go DEEF! Always such a great watch with the videos and cinematics only this man is capable of. Keep doing what you do. ⚡
5:17 this was a key feature in Splinter Cell 1 on PC. You don't need it on a controller because you have the variable/digital input of a control stick instead of the analog input of keyboard keys.
Was it right enough, huh! TIL!
I've only just found your content but it's the type of content I've been absolutely looking for, for years! Something I can sit back and enjoy without feeling like I should put it in the background instead
Ok you made this look amazing 👏 great video man
Looks like a combination of metal gear solid and splinter cell with a cyberpunk theme, i like it
I really hope you get a lot more attention. Honestly one of best channels Im subscribed to.
The effort you put into your videos does not go unnoticed. Love your work!
Thank you Yogi! I'm grateful for the support, and can't believe people still like to watch my videos, so to you and everybody I say it often but I never get tired of it: you're the best!
Dude I love this. Cosmic slow cooker 😂🖤🖤 you rock. I’d never heard of this game yet but you’ve made me want it real bad. I hope we get to see more from you on this when it releases!
2 deef videos in a week i feel blessed
4:00 blend.... BLENDING!!
Hahaha
fs laughed out loud.
I guess serves me right for watching DEEF at midnight on sunday night.
new subscriber here! love all the old stealth games you mentioned at the start of this. how good was tenchu! enjoying your channel!
Man I STILL have the PS1 disc and case for Tenchu Stealth Assassins, a game that changed my life, for sure! Cheers for the kind words, and welcome!
ALSO, if you need a Tenchu-like fix, Aragami 2 is good, as well as Ghost of Tsushima, once you get used to stealthin' around
Deef have you ever considered doing VR tactical games. You should check out Tactical assault VR, ghost of Tabor, espire 1-2, into the radius. I think you could get some great content out of those as well!
Another amazing video as usual
WHY are indie devs doing the job that Ubi should be doing and giving Splinter Cell its due. Replaying Chaos Theory and Blacklist (voice aside) make me wonder what they have been waiting on? Its an incredible genre!
i agree, these games and this whole genre have gone down a treat in the past and i think weve all wanted something new for so long. Hitman was itching the itch but a new splinter cell or just a whole new series would be incredible
Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow came out in 2004 and was the best online multiplayer stealth game of all time. The fact that they can’t make anything close to that now is crazy to me.
Not that people would know thst they want that anyway, theyd want or accept a watered down Blacklist as best because they think stealth is like: oh cool look at how many NPCs i can take out im so cool.
Stealth games can most times just be designed around sneaking but lost wont noticw that cause it doesnt have fancy schamancy animations.
@@memecliparchives2254
Blacklist can ne played fully stealth, gun blazing or in between.
You really knows nothing about it.
we need a DEEF reshade for dummies great video
hey deef loving your roleplay scenarios of breakpoint thinking about making a show about it with gameplay played out in a show like format
mind giving some tips like radio chatter sound effect
or how you got the cinematic shots that showcase the players
and damn how you get your voice to sound like a army member
This game is like... literally MGS1 on PSX lol Its pretty cool. They even added the warped lines of the graphics on the character models just like PSX lol.
Right??? Hits that aesthetic so hard, I loved it
Dammit .. for 20 years i m waiting for a modernized mechanics " Tenchu " with procedurally generated missions / Target locations / enemies .. i m askin' 2 much?
I dream of Tenchu and I do not get why we've not gotten a faithful revisit to the OG titles of that franchise, so good. Aragami comes close, Aragami 2 arguably better, but still, a true Tenchu revisit would be epic
We deserve more games like ghost recon and the division.
Nice to see. We need more game remakes. MGS 3 is being but we need 1, 2 need remade. Splinter Cell too. Tenchu.
I love the PSX aesthetic for stealth and horror games. Takes me back to my nightmare filled youth.
I agree
👑Congrats you are first👑
@@MJ-00001 thx bro
You’re Videos ar awesome bro 🔥Selam Aleykum
Thank you 🙌 and to you also!
I thought this was splinter cell lol 😂 mgs looks good is this delta?
Lol this is a mod
@@Capital_snack69 it is oh
Lol UA-cam labeled this as “MGS1 Master Collection Vol. 1”…
Hahaha what on earth, oh UA-cam 😂
Are there more games like this? I know there’s Unmetal , Never Stop Sneaking; but cudda swore there was a few I saw on Steam like this…
He has a few others I think, Undetected being the earliest version of this, but maybe other developers are making similarly influenced games, I'd have to check!
hi deef, whats that lens dirt reshade effect called?
i thought this was manhunt for a brief moment
Don't play w/ my dreams...
5:26 "Not sure how you would put that on a controller though"
Bruh... It's been like that in many games since joysticks existed, wdym 😅 ?
It's actually one of the only advantages of controllers compared to mouse/keyboard 😅.
I meant for this game, there's that many things bound to my controller in this video, there'd be no room left for something like that in this game without losing something else, sadly!
@@deefactual But this would just be bound to left joystick, like every video game where the character have different movement speeds possible, like to walk really really slowly, one foot in front of the other you barely move the joystick in a direction, to go slightly faster you move it slightly more, and so on and so forth.
Then to go at maximum speed you push the joystick to the max in a direction.
Yeah it doesn't allow for easing on mouse keyboard for this game, but easing is def a thing for joysticks!
This might be a funny little game but damn this looks really barebone.
This was the demo, but yeah it's an indie dev making small games, I feel it's a cool concept that relives some of my favourite aspects of 90s stealth games though, I enjoyed it!
@@deefactual Yeah might be noice indeed, I'll probably give it a try when I'll buy myself a new gaming PC.
5:30 analog stick?
Yeah, I used a program called AntMicro to map the keyboard binds to a controller - since the demo didn't have much to offer in the controls dept. Using a PS5 controller for this.
What game is this
I say in the intro and it's in the description
@@deefactual thanks
You have not uploaded any content last month! Why? What happened? Can I know!
I work 2 jobs and do this when I have time, if I get to a point where it can pay me enough to do it full time or even more, then I'll def make more videos! Worry not, I've another video coming out this week though.
