I think my favorite thing about this game (and I have to imagine it was the hope of the developers) is that you immediately get the objective to go to the top of the mountain in order to use your phone, but by the time you actually get to the top, you kinda forget that that is why you were going there in the first place. Trying to use your phone in a situation like this sounds like the sort of thing that might disconnect you from such a beautiful place, but it actually leads to meeting most of the people on the island and seeing things you wouldn't have otherwise. good game. good analysis.

I just found this video because I'm playing A Short Hike at the moment, and I wanted to see what other people think of it. I did not expect to find a video that... speaks to me. I recognize so much of my current self in the raccoon character, and the encouraging words from both you and Claire are so uplifting and well-timed. I have to be honest and admit that even after hearing that I must be good at something and that I should believe in myself, I still have a lot of doubt, simply because I don't really know what that "thing" is yet. But at the very least, this game and this video make me believe at bit more in the idea that I will at some point find that thing I'm good at. Thank you!
