That is the agrument given when the bully takes stuff, and everyone says, well they just shouldnt do it. Well we live in the real world child (yes you Tyler), and in the real world, issues are resolved through real polic and diplomacy. Given the input of everything Russia has put into this war, nothing short of either some land and/or security garauntees will suffice anything. Same time, the Ukrainian's can only fight as long so long as their western benifactors keep supplying money and weapons, and possibly food given the rate of farming and food losses occuring. Ukraine's desire for pre-war borders is understandable but naive. Only way out of this is a compromise, and given the levers moved by both sides, none is visible, and thus this war will never end.
@@Peter-xz5dlYou're wrong. The argument that this should be solved by diplomacy is the childish argument here. If Ukraine gives in to Russian aggression "for the sake of peace" it will give Russia incentives to do the same thing again in the future. Russian promises or deals isn't worth anything. History has shown us that time and time again. If Russia benefits from this invasion, they're gonna do it again and again and Ukraine won't be their only victim. If you truly want a long lasting peace, Russia needs to be defeated on the battlefield. Wake up from your childish and naive world view.
exactly, rewarding putin for his invasion will be a beautiful example to the world. Also remember that two wrongs dont make a right. @@Peter-xz5dl
@@Peter-xz5dl desire for compromises is extremely naive. You shouldn't compromise anything when you have an upper hand and the west by default could provide everything for Ukraine to win the war in a matter of a year but it's not happening because most of the western population is not a realist but an infantile child living in a dream where this war will never be on their soil and everything can be resolved by some magical diplomacy decades of peace corrupted not just left but right as well. There is more weakness on the west than in the east, I must admit.
The war has basically stagnated, in regards to territorial gains/losses, and Ukraine is wholly dependent on outside resources, to fight both the war and keep its economy from collapsing outright, so I am uncertain how much 'bracing' truly matters on the Ukrainian side of things. If anything, what determines the fate of the war is the short/long term internal politics in the various nations, like the US, that are keeping the entire thing afloat from the Ukrainian side.
And what's the point fighting for a name that's given to a land and the guy in charge of it. Ukrainians who emigrated are quite happy living speaking foreign language and without any political rights - something they claim to fear from Russia
It has become very difficult to take land during wars. War turns into just a show of power and as a result, chaos, financial loss and grieving families are left behind. Instead of fighting because there are too many weapons, we want reconciliation and peace. The world needs peace.

Experts from The Economist understand the goals of the war as a proxy war between the West and Russia, so how exhausted Ukraine will be does not matter for the weakening of Russia along the way
Exactly, the price paid by Ukrainian people does not matter at all, as well as achievable result for Ukraine! West asks Ukraine to commit suicide, but in the process asks Ukraine to deliver as much damage to Russia as possible. Otherwise they would call for negotiations long time ago. There were opportunities for Ukraine to negotiate in the past, but every time Ukraine has chosen not too, every time worsening it’s position.
For example, (1) if there would be no coup and following hostile rhetoric about banning Russian language and expelling Russians from Sevastopol - Ukraine would have kept Crimea and parts of Donbas. (2) If Ukraine would have implemented Minsk accord - it would have kept Donbas and other areas, peacefully integrating it into Ukraine. (3) If Ukraine would have not walked away at the advice of the West from negotiations in March 2022 it would have kept southern regions (now occupied by Russia)… all of the above was done at advice of the west. People of Ukraine need to just understand where would following western advices take their country… following a clear trend based on following past advices

They don’t even control all of Donbas, you know, the area they claim to have started the war to “protect”. And that’s even though Donbas is smaller than Belgium and on the Russian border…just embarrassing
Why would you think they are doing well?
@@appletree6741 because they successfully defended against Ukraine's biggest war effort yet and now Ukraine is not only running out of weapons but soldiers as well?
@@appletree6741 look at how much territory is still occupied and according to the leaks, even that data is biased towards Ukraine
@@antrondon3654 as far as i know Russia lost 50% of the territory they occupied last year. Of course Russia is a strong army with more troops and gear than Ukraine so full liberation of Ukraine territory will take time
Why conflict in Ukraine? Why not russia - Ukraine war?
Because neither side declared War officially.

A Russian soldier calls home from Ukraine.
- Did you take Kyiv?
- No.
- Did you take Kharkiv?
- No
- What did you take then?
- A blender, a washing machine and two fur coats
A blender, Mariupol, and Bachmut.
@@Alex-js9fq Don't forget the toilet. That's RuZZia's real war prize, 🤡.
What Europeans or Americans take from this war? 🤔 Remind me, why are you paying $10 billion dollars per month. What for?
All along Russia was not interested in Kyiv or Karkib. Russia' s interest had been on the Donersk and Luhanks predominantly inhabited by Russia speakers. I honestly do not see Ukraine retaking those regions back.
@@user-yj7um6hv1d their intention was to bleed Russia. To fight Russia to the last Ukrainian.
Danger music, danger music british voices, danger music
Let's do a lot more to help Ukraine break down Russia's cohesion then
The war will end when Ukraine's sponsors decide to end the sponsorship. For Ukrainian and Russian the war are existential to them for different reason.
It's only existential for Putin and the corrupt oligarchs. Russia can end the war by going back home.
If this was Star Wars Putin would be Darth Vader

Changing the narrative every week or month or for every offensive won't save Ukraine..
saying they are invincible won't save russia...
This was a long war from the beginning since the war actually started in 2014, and the reason is that Russia is a superpower and Ukraine is not. So, a long war of attrition could be seen even in 2014. The question is how long the West can keep Ukraine supplied? But, in the end, a long war of attrition is in the interest of the West since this would give NATO time to adequately prepare for a war with Russia if it becomes necessary. Only through superiority in conventional warfare would keep NATO countries safe from a nuclear war with Russia :)
NATO is a defense alliance. Only if Russia invades a NATO country will war between NATO and Russia become a fact. If a NATO country, such as France or Germany, chooses to invade Russia, it will do so without help from other NATO countries.
Oh yes assuming all your assumptions come through there probably be not much of Ukraine or Ukrainians left.
So millions of Ukrainians must just keep this up so the British, French and Germans don’t have to fight this war? You don’t seem to care much about Ukrainian lives
@@echika3379On the contrary, ALL of Ukraine will be left for Ukrainians, rather than just the 82% they control now
It will be a long war but the Ukrainian people aren’t going anywhere and they have the time

you want to support ukraine? go to the frontlines. don’t post comments on social media.

The way Ukraine uses drones can't affect the battlefield one bit, hitting civilian targets in Moscow and ships in harbor is just going to feel like little pinpricks when the real job is done on the front itself.
Unlike Russia, Ukraine does not attack civilians. They have more than enough military Russian targets to destroy.
Most Ukrainian suicide drones die in a Russian ammunition depot, factory, bridge, ship or vehicle. - But they rarely die alone.
Tens of thousands of Ukrainian drone operators work daily at the frontline monitoring the battlefield, dropping grenades, directing artillery, and kamikaze. - Doing the "real job", - bit by bit, tank by tank, ruZZian by ruZZian.
By the way, how does the mighty Russian Black Sea Fleet fare against the Ukrainian non-existent fleet?
The ecomonic aspect of this conflict was brought up several times. I wish that the possibility of America re-opening its energy sector could be one of the most advantageous economic actions the US could do to reduce Russia's cash flow, and reduce costs for the US and NATO allies. The "Green" agenda and Ukraine war cannot exist at the same time.
Deluded..
Yes, all of Russia is deluded.
