- Big News! I'm moving into a new building!
I thought I would do one last video in the old farm forge before I leave and I couldn't think of a better way to end this part of my blacksmithing life other than forging a ram's head. At the end of the video I also compared the head to a few that are three years old and were made when I first moved into this building.
I'm now starting a new business, Carter and Duck Blacksmiths, with Bill Carter and I am currently moving into our new building. I will still make some UA-cam videos when I get the time and I'll have to get Bill in front of the camera too!

Great video, can't wait to see your new forge I'm in the middle of building mine ,I'm tired of getting wet and snowed on,going to practice those rams 🐏 when I get back from camping
Keep practicing Simon dedication is all you need!
Hey Oscar, I don't comment much, but I've been a subscriber to your channel for some time and watched all of your videos. They're very inspiring to me as a much older but beginner blacksmith. Your space is like the perfect setup. You might think it's small, but I'm working in a 1 x 2-meter space! Anyway, I'm excited that you're growing and able to continue the craft. I look forward to seeing the new space!
Very exciting mate! Looking forward to seeing what you get up to in a bigger space!
Thank you!
I made a rams head on a course some years ago, I call it 'old scarface', as I started one eye too low and sort of dragged it into position 😂.
Where are you???!?
Miss your vids so much!
Congratulations, Oscar. Really happy for you as you take the next step of your blacksmithing career. Be sure to document the transition and maybe even think about regular live videos as you work or Twitch videos as you work. I'd watch!
Thanks Dan and good idea maybe I’ll do some live stuff!
@@oscarduck1920 live streams could be very interesting indeed!
Blessings upon your journey
Crawford out 🙏⚒️🔥🧙🏼♂️
The beginning of your balcksmithing career sounds exactly how i image my own blacksmithing career to be like hopefully in the future 👍
Which college did you study balcksmithing at if you don't mind my asking
I was self taught for a few years then met bill who gave me a Saturday job where I learnt much of what I know. I worked at Trapp forge from 2017 till it closed in 2019 during that time I was still at school/college so I’ve never done a full time college course specifically on forge work.
Muito bom mesmo hein 👍👍👍🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
How would you go about forging a duck? Recently thought about it but havent gotten the chance go give it a go yet.
You're a great inspiration!
