@@andreadubois5440 LITERALLY!!! 💗
Best song from cindy actually
I agree
All true the night is dom
The most underrated song by Cyndi Lauper by far.
Her best actually
It's one of her biggest hits and it still gets a good amount of radio airplay. It's a shame that she didn't make a music video for this song.
@@meme-om9yb I did not know this song till listen to radio on my way in a bussiness trip.
It's my favorite song by her... I'm only 44 in 2 days... And I think it would of been neat to see those times...i was to young back then...
@@meme-om9yb seems to me this is part of the soundtrack of a movie
I would give anything to go back to these days.
If you want I lend you the time machine from back to the future
@@williortegareyes9128 that would be awesome! Lol
Amen!!
We all would
Oh me too, Jenn!
Never was a Cyndi Lauper fan, but this one does it for me every single time. Miss you, 80's....
AMEN!! Fact!!
I was teenager Cyndi lauper was my favorite singer she still is my favorite singer
😒😫😢
My favorite singer.
i am a fan of nobody but every singer has at least one song that i like ( even selena gomez), and i hear all kind of music
This song gets me through the lonesome & hard days. I lost a lot of relatives these past 15 years. It gives me a reason to go on.
A genuinely ethereal early 80s synth-pop masterpiece, elevated to a whole other level by Cyndi's unparalleled vocals. Just, wow.
What a beautiful, poetic, and moreover accurate description of this tune mate. Couldn't have said it any better, or even close! 🙂👍
MAGIC review. Wow! Magnificently put.
@@lukieboysucks what he said...
Ethereal is the best word for attn
I remember riding with my mom in Los Angeles listening to this song. It always makes me tear up. I just played it for my daughter.
Omg 🥺 my mom used to play this when I was a baby and she said it always made me go to sleep. I loved Cyndi Lauper as a little girl bc it reminded me of my mom, and I was just playing it for my daughter now too 🥹
Good! Pass on the best music!
This song is about sex trade. Keep them borders open! ;)
Just came on in the shop getting groceries. Forgot this song existed. Brought me straight back to my youth at home with my dad 😢
Just they way the rhythm and her vocals are on the track in the chorus.....gives me goosebumps. LOVE IT!
Born in ‘75 I grew up listening to a plethora of music but no matter what a person grows up listening to…it’s hard not to appreciate Cindi Lauper.
Thanks for posting the lyrics.
My favorite Cyndi Lauper song by far. I remember being in band in elementary school and playing the flute to this song and then played it by the violin as well. Good times.
Nice!!
Reminder of a good childhood. When music made sense . Such a beautiful voice
Sentiments exactly
I cant believe i grew up listening to such a beautiful voice 😩❤
How are you doing today
So grateful!
This is actually the first time ever i have listened to this song and certainly wont be end. Thanks my most beautiful for this song so amazing as i have tears it sounds like true love and that is our love
I'm not really a Cyndi Lauper fan. But this is one of the most beautiful songs ever
Agree
Between Cyndi and Madonna, clearly Cyndi is a class all her own. Madonna does not even come close.
You are correct.
Cyndi is actually a singer. Madonna is a popstar which is why she's constantly changing who she is even in her music today. Yes you grow with the times Cyndi did it as well but authentically throughout her vocal is always top notch.
Like ponyboy said, "nothing gold can stay" and this song ladies and gentlemen is one of those golden classics. Surpasses it's time. From which the world will never see the likes of this light again.
That quotation was originally written by Robert Frost.
🎵”until it ends, there is no end…”🎶
Simple, yet incredibly powerful and moving line… Means so much to me right now cuz I’m dealing with unrequited love… how I wish he was with me…
Thank you Cyndi.
Few songs like this can Link me to cosmic dimensions of love peace and harmony.☘️💫🧲
This song makes me think of my mum. The day she is finally clinging for dear life, knowing there would be minutes just to go and become part of the universe.
I'll be there for her to hold her hand until her last breath, singing this song and "Wind beneath my wings", because I owe her everything I am.
My mum has been a sainr, a martir, a victim. But more than anything she has been a blessing for my family SE IS THE BESR MUM IN THE WHOLE ENTIRE COSMOS. Love you forever and always mama.
If you could write those beautiful thoughts about your mom, I'm sure she knows, better yet she always knew how great your love for her is.
PS: thank you for sharing 🙏💚
God Bless
So very nice ❤
Cydni Lauper's best song of all time ! 🎼👏😎
Isn’t this just the most beautiful perfect song?! 😭😍👏
It kind of is actually
Agree 😁💗
Oh how much I love this song. It feels like a beutiful magic feeding my soul.❤❤❤❤
80's I love unconditionally
She has to be one of the best singer-songwriters in the music industry. I absolutely adore her. I grew up listening to her music and dancing like a fool to all her catchy tunes. She's still a firecracker that few were able to keep up with. This song is one of my favorites.
Cyndi Lauper wrote more with friends as a team, and a lot of her hits were not her own. But she was legit, like with "Time After Time." Madonna didn't write much of ANY of her songs. True PROLIFIC female songwriters would be like, Cheryl Crow, Stevie Nice, Alanis Morissette, Dolly Parton. But Cyndi also had that original VOICE as well; which also makes her stand out.
Back home memories best times of my life.”! ! that did end, for me,😞😢 after loosing you DAD, From this virus 🦠 12-1941-July 29-20 RIP FOREVER IN MY HEART ❤️ TILL WE MEET AGAIN 🙏🕊💙😭😭👑👍 thanks for all the good times you shared with us 11 kids and me your little one 👧🏻💗😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
so sorry for your loss. hugs!
😘😘😘😘😘
❤️❤️❤️
I'm so sorry, may he rest in peace 🙏
Hang in there. Be strong. Your dad's shell gave out but his spirit is strong & went on to the next life. You will be with him again someday.
The high notes repeating in the final 20-30 seconds of the song do it for me!
😁👍
This is the best song of this great girl. The most beautyful melody I never heared
Most of the songs right now has that 80s vibe but this song when you listen to it it kills the 20s. Timeless classic at its best. Time warped!
In my opinion , today's songs almost all sound like poop... I stopped listening to new music because it sucks so bad... I just listen to older stuff...
@@immunegarden5104 they don't make songs like this anymore
Well need 80s music now and forever
❤
It just popped up on my youtube and it knocked me back to the 80's . Nostalgia kicked in and now I can't get enough. How I miss those days.
“All Through The Night” (1983) was authored by Jules Shear, who also penned the Bangles’ “If She Knew What She Wants” (1986).
This was the fourth track from Cindy Lauper’s debut album, “She’s So Unusual.” What was quite unusual about the tune was that it didn’t have a music video. Lauper was huge on MTV thanks to “Girls Just Want To Have Fun.” Even without a video, “All Though The Night” reached #5 in the USA, proving that the redhead artist was more than just a video star❕
Cyn’s producer brought the song to her; she loved it and recorded it. When it reached #5 on the Hot 100, Miss Lauper became THE FIRST WOMAN in the history of the chart TO TAKE FOUR SINGLES from the same LP to the top 5❕ [“Girls Just Want To Have Fun” - #2; “Time After Time” - #1; “She Bop” - #3; “All Through The Night” - #5.]
Soon, the iconic “chanteuse” Nana Mouskouri not only did a cover version of “All Through The Night” (1974) but she also released it in French and German. And that speaks volumes, since the Greek diva performs only the best of the best‼️ 💙🎼💚
Thank you for this 30 odd year old reminder of one of the Greats that mesmerized me at 14 as much as she does now. An artist whose giftedness is unusually difficult to define. Richard put it perfectly: ethereal. She was an enigma, a once in a lifetime, unique in her extraordinary passion I don't think we ever truly appreciated at the time. She really was otherworldly
Well said
Awesome line, and yess we didnt appreciated at the time , she was much better than madonna!
I have listenened to covers of this song in smule, we sing and Starmaker but nobody could sing this close to Cyndi Lauper. Her voice is unique that is why❤️
Love this 80's song it reminds me my childhood days😢💕
Me too
I live in Australia since 1999 and this is the first time l hear this wonderful song being in this country and it happened in the Super Market moments ago. I had almost forgotten about it. Many songs of the past are forgotten by the Australian radios, so sad 😪

My life ended when my wife of 21 yrs passed away in 2013 don’t know why she left me like that. We still had our grandkids to help raise they are now 13 and 9 yrs old I would trade right now to bring her back they need her more than me. I miss you Kandy always will till I die John 🌺🌸🌼🌹♥️😘

Wow that's beautiful
Until it ends
There is NO END❤
The world lost its innocence between 1980-1999…but beautiful music like this can always bring you right back. Listening to this song is like dreaming a beautiful dream and when you awaken you wish you have never had

Jules shear wrote this song
and released the original version of the song in 1983 on his first solo album, Watch Dog. His version has a jaunty tempo
