The reason they deleted snowballs are probably because of the "Dumpster Diving" augment, It would pretty much be infinite loot..

they could've made it so where snowballs didn't count to that, where you could only hide in a snowball once to get loot or have it recharge every few minutes or something
I remember in chapter 1, I would throw the shield bubble on my enemys on team rumble so that they would have to run out of it which would let me shoot them before them. It wasn't a good strategy at all.

Scars, heavy shotguns, & supply drops are still in the game but only in team rumble and when the supply drops are opened you can get items that were previously vaulted like the drum shotgun or the crossbow.
But no one plays team rumble

The gun actually isn't gone, you can get it by claiming the island that spawns after a few storm circles close/finish.
Loot lake island
Cow catchers and Chonker tires can still be obtained whether they just spawn on the car, or through the augment(which should have still been in the game, if not oh well to that)
true but cow cathers are amazing in zero build for makeshift cover so it is annoying
I miss the cow catcher, very upset they got rid of it.
i feel like epic is getting lazy with the removal of bosses cuz back in c2 every time they changed they showed a reason
You can use set a keybind for seeing the map, augments, quests and NPC's. Though it still was weird to remove the OG one.
FYI Using the Sword Dash along with the Aerialist augment allows you to traverse and get to the rifted island VERY quickly.

I didn’t think about supply drops until this video, but I did notice the snowball being gone because I tested it out right away in the new season.
They should change the scope of the cobra dmr as the red thing in the middle blurs out of switch and is much harder to use
Yeah I liked the original dmr way better the cobra doesn’t seem as accurate

What I miss is horde rush especially when obtaining the sythe, just so satisfying when killing a horde in an instant and the game mode was overall fun
With all of the stuff that got sent to the vault this season from most of the wildlife to supply drops themselves, I am shocked by all of these results.

They are still available in team rumble but mini gun and crossbow for some reason

A good thing about this season is that we still have Supply drops in Team Rumble as well as also some OG weapons like the scar, pump and heavy shotgun in there.
i know its because they plan to release more perks but it feels like they removed way to many perks atm
There's one more I had noticed... you can no longer command your hired NPC. I would use them as decoys, and help heal. I'm gonna miss that
Yeah, it sucks you can't tell the recruit what to do anymore. They're pretty dumb sometimes, shooting walls or destroying walls.
They did an edit. You can give the recruit orders again
Falcon scout literally didn’t work the entire season for me. I won’t miss it. It was a waste of inventory space. I’d have to fly out of range to return to my character. No reason to continue having it
The quest button in lobby is still there it just takes you to the quest tab and still lets you access augments and npc tabs 8:48
How do you look at your augments in the lobby?
It makes sense the shield got removed - it was oathbound tech wich was replaced by the newer shield bubble
6:08- how is that worse, the guardian sheild only blocks one point whereas the shield bubble blocks all around you
Probably because the bubble isn't as mobile. But you might be able to stick it to cars and bikes like how you used to be able to stick them to Hoverboards and Mechs back in Season X

Cuddle cross track( the cuddle team leader head) was my favorite drop spot their were two chest spawns and one on top and their was an oathbound chest near it too.
Something that nobody noticed at chapter 4 they removed the FISHING DEX i am like the only person that was sad about this because it was kinda fun to get the fishing dex full it was like another quest besides battle royal
I was so happy about that because some of those were near impossible to get... at night with a pro rod...
NGL im really gonna miss Wolves & Boars. they were good little bodyguards who would alert you to nearby enemies by running at them if you were hiding.

They should rename this season the vault season because of all the stuff they’ve vaulted.
You can still access the quest tab by pressing the button you would have last season. (PC Q, PS middle thing, etc.)
I've been wanting traps to come back since forever. One of my first games I got boxed and trapped, now I am better at the game and really want to try that out.

Rift-jector was great if you didn't have mobility. This season it'd be even better. I think the katana is worse in terms of mobility compared to the hammer and the rift augment would come in handy

Another thing is that the Agency painting was secretly hidden in Brutal Bastion but it’s gone now.
0:45 at least for me it doesn’t pull up the perk window every time I try to tactical sprint so now I can actually wait to use my perks and not have it interrupt me attacking someone

For some reason, I find it harder to play matches now. With the return of the pump, people keep headshotting me and sniping me with the heavy sniper.

I like that they made the season drops where u don't have to level up 10 times. It's not hard for me to level up just I have school and work along with a lot of medical problems I've had for years that make daily life difficult for me so when I'm at school then go to work, I'm too tired to play and sometimes even if I don't have school and work I'm still tired anyway no matter how much a rest bc of whatever's wrong with me. So I appreciate they changed it. Edit: Also, who else thinks "Baby we can do it in the mix" made Fishstick look kind of sus?

My main annoyance is that they go rid of most of the augments I mean we now have less than the beginning of last season. Why did they have to remove party time, mythic munitions, the one that let you get shadow bombs, splash medic, and all the other ones I get removing ones like exotic grab bag and bow related ones alongside tactical armory but so many should of stayed especially the fun ones mainly party time

Yeah, I kind of feel like they should have kept ALL of the augments and just adjusted the probabilities of each. It would have given the game a huge dynamic shift in any given lobby.

I have barely seen anyone use snowballs, except at the start of season or for challenges...
All the vaulting mentioned is for BR mode only, in team rumbles you still start with a green scar, and there are still drops.
At the race track near mega city, there is a Drift Prevalent, with Chonkers, it is the reason I land there every time
I feel like they got rid of so many fun augments like bush warrior, shotgun striker, storm mark, balloon thing, etc. The new ones are kinda unhelpful, coming from a non-AR user.
i swear in when i first played chapter 4 season 2 i heard someone using the shockwave hammer it was so confusing since the new swords came
One of my first games of the new season I heard the smash of a hammer in the distance and I thought nothing of it until now
They did not remove chonkers, if you went to the race track after jumping from the bus you could sometimes spawn a drift car with chonkers
if you think about it, the guardian shield is just a fortnite version of reinhardt's shield from overwatch
Also the chonkers tires and cow catcher can still spawn naturally on a car
i miss fortnite. I stopped playing for a while bc I was busy and it wouldn't let me update it, and one day it disappeared. I know I didn't delete it, and the saddest part is I can't get it back bc I don't have enough space

Tbh, When the scar came back in chapter 4 it was one of the most useless weapons in the season, not that it was bad, but the tax pistol and the red eye were much better options so it was good that they removed it because no one was really using as far as what I’ve seen so having it in the game was usless

You left out that you can’t command hired NPCs no more. Use to be able to tell them to follow you, stop, or heal downed team mates. That command on the d pad is gone.
Another thing with some of the vehicles they don’t have much health so they are easy to destroy
They removed the party privacy tab from save the world and now there is no way to choose to play alone or with randoms, that was the one nobody noticed because I didn't even find anything in reddit about this.

Im glad the balloons are gone they were bloody annoying but i will miss the deku smash .. Hearing that yell in the distance or even before getting obliterated will always be iconic too me.
there is a bug so you can still get your perks out while tactical sprinting. I don't know how to do it yet, but it happened to me a couple of times in this new season

Boats are still in the game. Now I only play arena, so I'm not sure if its exclusive to arena or not, but there is a boat that you can drive located on the barge in the lake SE of mega city.

They didn't actually delete chokers tires because in one area at a specific time at a low change you can find a futuristic car with it on
You can attach a shield bubble to car or bike for protection
You can still choose augments while running just open augment menu after sprinting
5:14 but not completely because I found a car with them on so that means, getting them as floor loot/as an item is actually vaulted
Can you get the weekly cosmetics after several weeks or it's the cosmetics or only limited to a certain week??

The thunder pump is in the game. You can get it from the frienzy fields npc but you can't upgrade it
