2024 CITY OF CHINCHEROS IN THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS IN CUSCO, PERU (PROFESSIONAL GUIDED TOUR)

Welcome to Exploring with Cindy and Dan. Today we are in picturesque town of Chincheros that lies off the main road between Cusco and Urubamba in Perú and it sits at 12.500 above sea level (higher than Cusco City) and we will visiting the town of Chincheros in the Sacred Valley.
We arrived in Cusco from Lima on May 22nd of 2024. The Cusco airport’s altitude is around 11,000 feet and it is surrounded by mountains.
Chincheros is a small rustic town that lies off the main road between Cusco and Urubamba like I mentioned at the beginning of the video. It sits at 12,500 feet above sea level. This little town has so many interesting spots for visitors to explore and see. Chincheros is home of the famous Peruvian weaving and also a colorful Sunday market where you can find beautiful handmade souvenirs cheaper than in Cusco or Lima....
