So glad that they haven't got rid of the trolleybus system in 2000's like Tbilisi and Baku. The 9th trolleybus passes near my home, so I use it regularly. It's shameful, that we couldn't save the tramway :(
The tramwaysystem must be very interesting. Its a shame, thats true. But in this time its important, that Yerevan will rescue the trolleybus for future.

My congratulations! You really professional, who depicted the ending of old trolleybuses in Yerevan. Despite the weather and significant interval between Škodas and Berliets you filmed very colourful and unique atmosphere of this trolleybus system. It will be great if you'll return in Yerevan next year and make a new film about Yutong trolleys. Now there are two additional trolleybus routes for modern Yutong with battery usage in the part of the line. And the only new female driver now also the part of friendly staff.

The new Yutong trolley buses are really good and I'm happy about this renewal. But without the old 14Tr, I think it will be many years before I come back to Yerevan. But I will follow the development here from Germany with interest. I have very fond memories of all the nice drivers, that's really different from many other countries. :-)
Sicuramente saranno interessati. In Italia ci sono svariate reti filoviarie e tramviarie da vedere. Alcune sono in costruzione tipo nella città di Verona con allo studio 4 linee. Ho un altra domanda....non hai mai pensato di andare a fare delle riprese al museo del filobus di sandtoft o all east Anglia trolleybus Museum entrambi in Inghilterra? Hanno tutti 2 veicoli storici delle ex reti inglesi e uno una vettura pure delle vecchia rete di Aquisgrana. I musei hanno filobus funzionati su degli anelli filoviari però fuori dal traffico veicolare.

Soprattutto qui in Germania e dintorni, stanno scomparendo così tanti vecchi veicoli che devo filmare molto qui prima che spariscano. You are correct but here's one thing they share in common the usage of Skoda 14Tr electric bus. From what I can see the Armenians managed to keep theirs in operational up to now by possibly taking parts from the SF Muni 5400s 14Tr fleet. If they have the larger 15Trs Yerevan would actually take the parts from the 7200s SF 15Tr Fleet.

Ich war noch nie in Yerevan, habe aber schon ein Video über einen dortigen Skoda 14Tr gesehen. Es ist echt schade, dass überall die alten Hochflurfahrzeuge ausgemustert werden. In Brno wurden die Skoda 14Tr und 15Tr O-Busse am 18. Juni 2023. verabschiedet, in Budapest fahren nur noch Ikarus 280T-s, aber werden wegen dem Ferienfahrplan nicht ausgegeben, und in Salgótarján wird heute (oder am 31. 07.) der allerletzte Ikarus (HKZ-209) gehen, der auch der allerletzter Ikarus 435-er im normalen Verkehr ist. Mann, öffentlicher Verkehrsmittel zu fahren macht nicht mehr so viel spaß, als früher. Ich mag dieser Hobby immer noch, aber das Ende ist zeitnah. Ich war in diesem Sommer noch nicht in einer anderen Stadt, als Budapest. Üblicherweise bin ich bis Ende Juli schon in ein-zwei Städten gewesen, aber Krakkow bis zur 22.-23. Juli Museumfahrzeugwochenende zu planen war hoffnunglos, und habe irgendwie in keiner ungarischen Stadt verliebt. Salgótarján werde (oder würde) ich diese Woche nur wegen HKZ-209 machen. Vor ein Paar Jahren war es noch richtig geil in Budapest, und auch auf den Linien der Volánbusz fuhren viele alten Fahrzeuge, aber diese Zeiten sind leider vorüber, und man muss damit leben. Wenn du ein Stadt in Ungarn suchst, wo noch viele Ikarusse fuhren, ist Győr der richtige! Dort fahren 10 Ikarus 280-er in der Stadt, und 20 weitere Ikarusse in der Agglomeration.
Ja das stimmt, es ist schade dass die alten 14Tr inzwischen überall verschwinden. Aber wir dürfen nie vergessen, dass wir auch schon im Jahr 2023 leben und es doch schön ist, dass diese Kultwagen so lang gefahren sind. 🙂 Die Wagen in Yerevan waren schon sehr kaputt, aber gefahren sind sie einfach. There are now new trolleybuses being added to the system (imported from china) and they can work without powerlines for a while, i've seen them, but they are kinda rare right know. You can film them too if come back to Yerevan again once :)
Yes i know about them, i see this new trolleybusses by my visit in Depot. But it was my wish to film trolleybussystem before new vehicles come, because i will catch Skoda 14Tr 😉

In my city of Varna we complain about the condition of the old buses. Now when i saw the Erevan trolleybuses that made greatfull for having a transport.
Interesting system indeed . I can almost understand the lack of maintenance on the trolleybusses .. but they are very dirty inside and out . Unless water supply is a problem that is .😮

Please, Yerevan is a very interesting trolleybusnetwork, but the intervall is sometimes not so good. I was there, before new Yutong-Trolleybusses go into service and hope that this situation now is littlebit better.

It was a kind of "modernisation". Iam be truely, i dont like this optic all the years when i see this vehicle on pictures. but in Yerevan i see this trolleybus in real, and than on place i like it very much. :-) ...its a special vehicle and (for luck) only this one, so its interesting to see such version of "design". :-D
Trolleybus is the same as bus. Only the trolleybus is electric. And there are also electric buses. Trolleybuses are so old and they still run. Paw up. Mine is 51 👍
@@KT4Danithey are called trackless trolleys in some parts of the US, and when they ran in the Boston area, they did not have license plates as they were not considered motor vehicles by the state. The 2004 Neoplan trackless trolleys that ran in Cambridge and Watertown were retired in March 2022 and the wires taken down; those lines are now run with hybrid diesel/electric buses.

Trolleybus r pretty cool. The wires are pretty weak and I feel like the whole trolleybus system is not modern and needs new trolleybus and new modern allot stronger wires. Or just put electric buses. But of course trolleybuses are better for nature soo.

Бывшие советские модели давным давно пора списать Более или менее только французские модели .Да и эти подлежат списанию. Печальное зрелище. PS .Насколько помню,троллейбусная система была и в Ленинакане. Состояла из пяти маршрутов. Не знаю,осталась ли она там или её демонтировали?
Здоровые мужики не работают целый день дома сидят нарды играют, а живут все хорошо, странно вообще. Кто там на заводах вообще работает вот мне интересно. Все мужики в России на заработках. Все только таксуют. .
В Ереване в основном на маршрутках ездят. По крайней мере когда я там был масса людей садились на маршрутное такси. Хотя там были и трамвай и троллейбусы и даже Икарусы в 2002 году хочу сказать.

В Ереван вроде новые троллейбусы китайского производства завезли и уже как пару недель они ездят по городу.

Trolleybuses with high ground are great, but they're not practical, especially for people with disabilities.

Bitte, gern geschehen! 🙂...gezahlt wird beim Fahrer wenn man aussteigt (Tür 1). Eine Fahrt kostet 50 Dram, also etwa 12 Eurocent.

Well, they will be missed. But, I'm happy that Yerevan chose to start expanding the trolleybus fleet instead of shrinking it.

They are all going to be replaced very soon by very modern trolleybuses ordered by municipality.

Ереванская система единственная, которая уцелела после развала СССР. Да и то чудом.

В Ереване "шкоды" в основном. Это чешские троллейбусы времен СЭВ. Русские - более поздние "лиазы". А трамваи были РВ36 и КТМ 5.
