Había visto estos estetoscopios antes, pero realmente tenía curiosidad sobre su funcionamiento y sobre cómo los suelen utilizar los médicos en su trabajo diario. Gracias de nuevo por tus vídeos, son magníficos.
I use my 3200 everyday 20 times a day. Never had ear pieces "wear out" on me. I've used a stethoscope everyday for the past five years....Never lost one. And even if you're a mid level provider I'd expect you have the money to replace one every year.
Nobody uses stethoscopes more often than nurses, every nurse should have this amazing stethoscope cuz nurses are the first line of defense in saving patients lives.
I support the E-scopes for 3M and I see a lot of comments on not being able to hear the recorded uploaded track from the E-scope. You have to keep in mind that body sounds are low frequency. You can use acoustic speakers or headphones, but we don't recommend using the manufactored computer speakers. This system was designed to hear it through the stethoscope itself. The 3200 has 24x sound amplification, proprietary ambient noise reduction technology that reduces, on average, 85% of the ambient background noise that can interfere with the asculatation experience. The Bluetooth technology transfers the heart and lung sounds to your PC for further analysis or transfer to patient files. You can also visualize heart and lung sounds using the StethAssist software that comes with the 3200. Just keep in mind like I previously said that the body sounds are a low frequency and that is why it's hard to listen to the recording on bad speakers.
To clarify: I meant the editing software you use to put your videos together (Sony Vegas, Adobe Premier, etc.). I'm not an expert in that field, but the few video editing programs I've used allow you to adjust the volume of every audio track pretty easily.
Thanks for the video. Thinklabs is the way to go for an electronic stethoscope. The 3M steth is very restrictive and difficult to use for most applications. Working at a school of medicine we gave up on the 3M electronic steth because of these restrictions and we went with Thinklabs instead.
WOW i liked the design and the idea of using Bluetooth to record, save and share the murmur and palpitation sounds. Technology is awesome! if only you could get sounds to be louder that device would be really nice!!
Active sound reduction, and 28x amplification? I think it does bring something unique to the clinical setting, beyond teaching. Esp. in certain work environments where outside noise may be overbearing: mass casualty settings, extremely busy hospital wards, sirens etc..
Seems very nice, but I have not had much luck with Littman stethoscopes. I am not sure why, but the sound is not very clear for me. I have friends who love them, but I don't care for them. It is certainly impressive though!! Love your videos!!!
Nice toy, but I agree w/you that it's not really practical for everyday use. I have a nice Cardio Master which has served me well for almost 20 yrs. Littman's may be expensive, but they are high quality w/excellent customer service/warranty's and well worth the investment. I would love to have one of these for teaching purposes as well. Would make giving certain inservices so much easier. To bad it's not in my budget at the moment...maybe if i'm good Santa will hear my plea lol
O Senhor sabe onde posso concertar este estetoscópio, pois no Brasil nao consegui concerta lo? Tenho 02 estetoscopios comprados ha 3 anos e estao sem funcionar! 4:27
You can increase the sound by 'expanding' the actual visual chart of the recording. on the left side of it you'll see a plus and a minus image. press the plus several times and then play it. not very intuitive.

Nurses are wonderful, yes, but EMS is truly the first line of defense if they came in that way 😀

Very much appreciate your investment in our education. Thank you
Looking forward to hearing some heart sounds. Thank you.

Works with Mac computers now with or without the bluetooth dongle.

You make such great videos. Thanks for sharing as usual!
Engraving helps prevent your stethoscope from being lost! ;)
You should be able to adjust the volume of each independent audio track in you editing software. Have you taken a look through it's manual?
The fact for 3M doesn't take care of Macs is the main reason why I will use ThinkLabs!
It can use for veterinary
I just purchased one online, I find the rubber tube shorter than avarage or I got a wrong one?
gracias por la información
thank you
