This brings back memories. I remember doing something very similar when I was about 7or eight years old at my school in Australia. Your work is really lovely.
Just simple school glue. You could paint them after drying or colour the glue, in the beginning. In order for it to be strong and last longer, you could do a few layers. Drying in between each layer.
@@annedarmody9132 The stuff we used came in different colours, we dipped the wire shape in and let it dry. When finished it had the appearance of cellophane paper.
I also used this when I was in Brownies as a child in Victoria Australia ❤
That’s so cool, I remember doing dipping as a child. It was so much fun
Funny, how things are coming back. I remember we had something similar, must have been around end of the 70th. I was always into crafting and when I saw this at some art fair, I was intrigued. It was one of the trends that came and went (like silk painting, window colors, blopens and the likes). It kind of makes me happy and nostalgic to find someone rediscovered that technique 🤩🥰
It was so lovely to watch your video, I throughly enjoyed it from beginning to end
Beautiful. Thank you.
I was initially disappointed that we couldn't get this in the US but I just bought their "international kit". They send it dry resin and we add industrial grade acetone. I hope they start making the dry ones in individual colors soon. So many ideas!
I came across this lovely business few weeks ago at makers central , this is amazing technique.
Looks just like the stuff I used as a kid. It was called Fun Film. I used to make flowers and sell them.
Beautiful! 👍💕👍 X
Very much enjoyed, thank you ❤😊
Absolutely stunning!
Amazing !! I never knew about this type of resin . The projects you did are STUNNING !! Thank you Louise
What a beautiful kit! I want one or 10, but live in the US.☹ You did an outstanding job with both of these!
I am always drawn to the unusual and unexpected so this technique truly appeals to me. Of course it isn't available in the USA so I guess my bank balance is safe. Your tutorials are always a treat! Your hard work creating, editing and posting videos is certainly appreciated.
😢you can still get that film stuff in your craft stores Walmart florist craft area
These 2 projects came out so delicate and pretty! As others stated, I am in the US, so hoping at some point in time it might be available here! Enjoyed watching you create these!
Ordered the poppies and the subscription! Oh dear!
I remember doing this with my mom. Great memory. These turned out beautiful.
Lovely. What a great idea.
I met inion arts at Makers Central they ran a workshop to try the dips and wire techniques and amazing company love it and thank you for showing your ideas too x cheers Louise from
Ethan 6 yrs and Granmar Tracey
Aw thank you to you both. Inion Arts are wonderful, such amazing products ❤️
When I was a teen in the late 1960' early 70's. I used to do these. They had kits for teen girls back then. I really did enjoy making them.
LOVE THESE
❤ well Lou my dear friend, what an interesting art! I can understand why you love it, the end result is just beautiful! What a fantastic gift they would make along with one of your resin vases. Wow! You never fail in making arts and crafts interesting and inspiring. Thank you. Love you my friend ❤ xxx
Gorgeous, what a great unique company. Well done.
The second one was my favourite, but love all the colours in their catalogue.
Gorgeous!
My late Dad was a glass blower and this reminds me of his more delicate work, he’d have been so intrigued by the dipping resin
Thanks Louise, great video 💕
Beautiful, they both turned out great. Thank you for sharing. 21:36 ❤❤❤
So pretty
So beautiful! Looks like fun!
This is a cool project
This is so beautiful ❤❤
🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹
WOW!!! I had no idea this kind of resin art existed! Your projects are stunning and my mind is buzzing with ideas! Thanks for sharing, Louise 😊
🎉These are so beautiful 😍 I wish it was available in the US. 😊
Aaww I wish they sold kits to the U.S. I definitely would buy it so Beautiful and never ever seen such nice kits !! So Satisfying to see the end of the project that looks like so much fun and doesn't need a uv light !!! Wow!!! Love you and love your channel yep I'm a new Subscriber ❤️ 💙 ♥️ 💕 much ❤️
My Mother and I used to do this when I was a kid. ❤
I had a somewhat similiar kit when a kid in the 80s, no idea now what it was called, and what 'resin' was used. I'd totally forgotten about it til now!
I used to think of it as 'liquid plastic' that dried in the air. Very delicate and I never quite succeded to this extent 😅 This was in the U.S.
These kits are great! Looks beautiful! This is a far more sophisticated version of a kit I tried in the late 1970’s. Yes I’m an old lady! I don’t think it was resin. Probably a liquid plastic but exactly the same technique. Never kept my flowers long enough to find out how long they lasted. At least these will hold up against time being resin. But have got to thank you Louise for your tutorial, and yes it’s very addictive! 👍☺️💐
Wow I love this, hopefully they will ship to Canada soon. Once again you are going one step above everything I’ve seen. ❤
These are sooo beautiful!!! 😭😭😭😭😭 They only ship to UK. Why do so many companies forget about Australia? Oh well, I enjoyed every second of watching you create these stunning flowers and fruit. Absolutely beautiful!!! I wish the new company well!! Thank you for sharing such a fun project Louise. I'm rewatching and just so jealous, this product is epic.... the possibilities ahhhh lol. Love to you and your Mum ❤
You are such a lovely lady, thank you so very much for your kind words. I think with a product like this, overseas shipping becomes very complicated and expensive. Is it difficult to find a lot of art products in Australia? That is a real shame and I understand how you must feel forgotten. Someone should fill that gap in the market and make a fortune!
@@LouiseSingletonCreations Yes unfortunately a lot of products are hard to source from Australia but I guess we just make do with with the items we can get 😊😊 ps: Your the lovely one, I so look forward to your videos and your positivity and sense of humour are so endearing. Always feel happy after one of your tutorials 😊
😍
Stunning. I need one of these kits xx
Beautiful!! ❤
I had no idea this type of resin existed, its amazing how it worked. Your flowers turned out so beautiful.
Thank you so much, I’d never seen it before either. I know there is a UV type but this kind was a real surprise ❤️
Too bad we in USA don’t have it! It’s gorgeous. Love it❤
They came out beautifully Louise ❤❤
I came across their yt channel years ago. I thought it looked like a lot of fun, I’ve seen most of their videos. I’ll have to find something similar that’s available in the states. They turned out wonderful!
That is so beautiful, what a great kit, I'd never heard of dipping resin before
It's been around for years. This is just a way to sell products that aren't really needed.
I’ve been using dip art to make flowers for quite some time now, it’s not available widely so it’s fabulous to know about another company 😊.
Louise you’ve done an absolutely fantastic job with the kits that you received, they are so pretty, I love them, thank you for sharing, I’m off to check them out 💕
way too much fun! Wish we had it here in the states. So pretty!
We did something similar in Brownies, but we stretched bits of nylon over the wire, then painted it.
Thank you for sharing and bringing back some memories!
I’m deeply bummed that IA doesn’t ship resin outside the UK, but I may be able to get around that.
Stunning and unique! I’m utterly transfixed! 🤍 Very cool resin too! Wows all around!! 💕🙂🥰
That's is amazing, it's the first time I saw this project ❤
I saw something like this on Kirsten Allsops Xmas show years ago and wanted to do but didn’t know where to start. Hence doing resin work. Thank you for letting us know of this company.. I’ve got some on the way now as I have all of the other stuff needed. Xxx
Used to do this with nail varnish
🙂
Thanks! I have learned so much from you. You are truly gifted. I am in awe every time I watch one of your videos. You are my favorite UA-cam artist.
God bless you. ✝️💕🤗
Oh my goodness you are so very kind thank you so much and God bless you too ❤️❤️❤️
Tell them that US residents asked can you please sell flower kits minus the resin? I was getting so confused trying to figure out what I would need to buy individually to be able to make certain flowers. I found a dip resin offered here called Dip It Fantasy Film.
Or they could offer it here through a 3rd party and expand their business hugely. ❤
I have done this many times since I was a young kid. Nice to see it making a come back. Will def have to check out this company. ❤ the finished product.
These are absolutely lovely! I can remember doing projects with dip resin as a child. I don't remember the circumstances, but I think it was at my aunt's house. She was always so wonderful with projects and places to go when we visited.
Absolutely stunningly Beautiful Louise. ❤ When I was alot younger in the early 70s a couple use to make flowers like this in their home and hired myself and a friend to go door to door selling them. I will look for something available in Canada as this company can't ship here. Im so happy for the 2 ladies that started this company. Their story is heart warming. I wish them all the best success. Thank you so kindly for sharing your wonderful talent and videos with us all. Take great care and keep creating and smiling ❤
Dale that was so nice of you to take the time to read about the company’s story. I hope you manage to find something similar over there because a lot of people have shown an interest. Thank you for watching 😁
Somehow in the 70ies there was a similar product...never heard of it again - well, no internet at that time.
Imagine to put some LED- or solar-lights in those little lanterns...🙂
How amazing Claire….. again another triumph so lovely to watch your art ❤️ thank you xx
I said Claire because I just been watching her sorry hope you know I meant you Louise oops 😂🥲 ❤️xxx
Aw thank you so much, I don’t mind having my name mixed up with Claire, she’s a sweetheart.
Those came out beautiful! I may have to try this, I’m not crafty but it looks like fun. Great job ❤
Absolutely beautiful! I want to make them myself but I live in Canada. Thank you love for showing us all this wonderful kit,
When I was a kid we made these. Good to see it's back. Fascinating stuff ❤
a lot of people have said that, I’m jealous that it passed me by because I would have loved it as a child ❤️
Thank you. Just ordered
@LouiseSingletonCreations I purchased the opaque introductory kit but thinking I should have purchased the translucent products 🤔
@@cathysarthub8306 that’s sounds great! I think the flowers in my first project were with opaque and the finished effect was lovely, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
Wow lou these are amazing so delicate and pretty I'm definately going to be trying this as it looks so calming and satisfying, thankyou for showing us this amazing product xxx
You hit the nail on the head there, it is extremely calming. I sat in my garden listening to the birds whilst I constructed all my flowers and leaves so even the wire work is relaxing and the dipping, well I could do it all day!
I learned of this when I saw inion arts videos. I live in the US. I want sone. Maybe my flight attendant friend can procure some fir me. She does London trips often.
You come up with the most creative, interesting, beautiful projects. I am in awe of this one. It’s amazing. Wishing I lived in the UK, as y’all have the good stuff, not available in USA.
These both turned out absolutely gorgeous. ❤. Thank you for sharing!
Really nice. Maybe I can ask my Sister in UK to get me some & then ship it to me here in Canada.
Absolutely Amazing! I wish I lived in the UK. I need to see if I can find something like this that is sold in the USA. Gorgeous flowers! 😍 You did a beautiful job!
Thank you, since I made the video they have put together an ‘overseas’ kit so it is worth another look.
Beautiful. Sad I’m not in UK
Oh, I have *always* wanted to try resin dipping, but it's so expensive to buy it that I just noped on it. But, looking at the kits, the cost is not bad at all! Much more affordable. Too bad the shipping to the US is sooo expensive. I can't believe it's acrylic-based...so cool!
I tried doing it with UV resin, with limited success. Wondering if thick UV would work...?
The fuschia garden lamp is adorable, Louise! The Physalis kit is AWESOME! I love those yummy fruits (?)! And the shape is always intriguing. 💕😊😍 There are so many cultivars, and they're all so good, from Ground Cherries (sweet) to Tomatillos (savory)...yum!
Lou, you did such a beautiful job! I LOVE it! 😍💕👍
A WARNING: Not all Physalis are edible! The decorative Chinese Paper Lantern Physalis is extremely toxic to people and animals, even in tiny amounts can be fatal!
JUST the fruit - and nothing else! - is edible for the edible cultivars!
These are beautiful, too bad I live across the pond from the UK, Thanks for sharing
Thank you. Since I made the video Inion Arts had so many over seas enquiries that they have put together an international option 😁💃💃
These are stunning, Louise! My favourite is the physalis. I just love the colours. It's a shame that I'm in Canada, and can't take advantage of these kit offers!
I wish they shipped to the US.
You are amazing! Both your creations are so beautiful. I have to figure out where to find the acrylic dipping resin here in America since they won’t ship it to here. But yours are absolutely beautiful. Love them. ❤️👏🏻😁
When I was a kid maybe mid 70's early 80's they sold kits of this kind; air drying. Stores like K-Mart, TwoGuys and Caldors (box stores) OMGosh did it ever stink and give people headaches and you had to dip and dry a couple of times. Needless to say, I might have finished one or two flowers. Horrible stuff. I know you were PPEed up but how does the product smell? The color is so rich and vibrant. WOW that is like magic 😉 I truly was wondering how you were going to be able to cover them without touching the bead. They both came out so very Beautiful.
Thanks for sharing
😮💨😏I live in the US🤧 can not get this; for now anyway.
These are gorgeous but I'm so disappointed they don't ship to the US.😔 I've been wanting to try resin for a while and was thinking this might have been a good way to start.
Those look like so much fun. I bought some regular dip resin, I think it's uv. I watched a video of a chick making the orange one n she made it all complicated. I think I'll see if I can get the clear on in this manner. 🤔 then 'paint' with the color resin
These look like a lot of fun, but I live in the United States.
BEAUTIFUL!! Oh my Have to try this!!…..boo only in the UK. Anything close to it in the states?
Thank you Tammy, I know, it’s a real shame. I hope someone ‘in the know’ and closer to you will see your question and answer it because unfortunately I really don’t know.
Wonder if ya could dip them in regular resin afterwards to strengthen them?
I don’t know but I am going to try. I’ll show the results on Instagram if it works.
I loved the music. Who was it? I’m sad about not being able to get it in the US
This looks such a fun craft. I'd like to know if there is anything similar available in the USA?
I would like to know too, I hope someone will tell us because a lot of people want to know. ❤️
I’ve always wanted to try this but could never find the resin dip, so Thankyou. Does the resin dip have a smell to it and is ppe needed like for epoxy resin ? Also do you think the flowers once made could go into epoxy resin ? Thankyou for this tutorial x
Some good questions there. Yes there is a smell, it’s like nail varnish but not as strong smelling so it isn’t overwhelming but you will need to use it in a well ventilated room. PPE is always a good choice but I don’t know if it is essential, that might be a question for Inion Arts. Two people have asked if it is compatible with epoxy resin but I don’t know so I will try!
Is different kind of resin used for this kind of craft? Bcsit’s different consistency with usual resin
Couldn't this be done with regular resin and harder or would it drip? 🤔 they're beautiful
This method couldn’t be done with epoxy however you can make flat petals and leaves in wire frames using epoxy. The wire would need sticking down onto the sticky side of tape first then carefully fill. UV resin might be better for that method. The beauty of this is that the frames don’t need to be flat.
I've heard of resin dipping and seen it done with uv. This kinda confuses me a bit. Air cure, wouldn't that mean once the tins been opened and air has gotten in it would be no good for future projects?
Do they sell this in the USA?
I went to the site, but I don't know how much L49,00 is in American money
Oh wow I want all of these!!! I’m in Australia 🇦🇺☹️😭
I need to find someone to send me stuff 😢
I know it’s such a shame that is is UK shipping only for the resin, it’s probably to do with the kind of shipping it would need because it is flammable but hopefully you will be able to find something similar closer to home ❤️
So, sad..I'm in US 😥
I make it a practice to avoid paid ads like this. It may interest others, but for me, I already have too much money tied up in resin. With no desire to spend more, and so many ideas for what I already have, these videos are just a turn off for me.
I've seen a few quick reels of dipping vids in my Instagram Feed, but never like yours! Fabulous Physalis or Lantern Flower! I wondered how that would happen without coating the Pearl! Thx for bringing us along, and introducing us to this company and procedure ❤😊. My mind is whirling around that😅.
MAGNIFIQUE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🥰❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
