I lived at Norden CA for two years when I was a kid! I lived in one of the yellow houses you see in the video. Houses were connected via wooden tunnels. It’s all been torn down now. Great video and history lesson.
@@mikehawk2003 ,Yes and it was quite the shortsighted decision to remove the old number 1 track as traffic levels surged once UP RR took over operations,all SP saved was pennies by selling the track to the Sunset Route!
