The fact that most of these monsters spawn in bursts makes it way more lethal. I do think the developer should balance/fix some of the monsters, because things like ripper or Rebound during seek chase/figure just ruines the gameplay

@@Tayaplayslax hard-core Is meant to be hard, not impossible. You shouldn't have to rely on pure chance to hope that a monster doesn't spawn on you during a cutscene

For dying inside of the room, it's because your hand was outside the room, as the walls being 1 stud, and when you didn't die to rebound the 2nd time, it's because that sphere is the hit box of it, and you didn't touch it, if you survived it the 1st time, its because of the short revive inmunity

Doors guide for beginners
Rebound: He appears in the room. But beware. If he does, He will come back the next room.
Ripper: He will rip anything in his way. Don't leave the closet too early, Or you will die.
Shocker: It's screech, But you have to look away.
Speedster: He just speeds all over the room.
Threat: If you hear a weird sound, Hide now. It will rebound more than ambush.
Smiler: It's basically like threat. But with long flickering.
Deer god: Hearing the weird glitchy sound indicates you to run. Until the badge appears.
???: When you click ??? Painting too much, It may spawn this entity.
Smiley: It speeds up slowly, And it rebounds. Audio cue is someone laughing deeply.

Shocker is an interesting entity. Despite the difficulty in avoiding it, I believe it's as simple as trying to make it think you're ignoring it.
I think Shocker is like an attention loving entity, and in turn attacks anything giving it too much attention.

holy hell I haven't even beaten regular doors yet (not that I'm bad at the game but I just haven't had the time to-) and this looks like HELL. The fact Rush almost always triggers Rebound and then Rebound can possibly trigger MORE entities is just insane
it would be amazing if noonie and chrono could release the game so we all play it, it looks super cool and fun to play tbh

I never played with new entities yet but the creator wants to kill me when playing, he wants to add depth who comes to the first to last door 3 or 4 times,ripper who makes a glitchy sound,bacteria who annoys most players and rebound who is just scary to handle but some people are brave and the creator wants to add it to a public server to make it very hard for us to beat

Idea for extreme mode : rush comes back before despawning, ambush goes 6-12 times instead of just 2-6, more obstacles on both seek chase, and figure starts as fast as when he gets 8 books, while you have to collect 20 books and the code is 9 digits!
Edit: another idea: Screech comes in 4 and halt spawns hallucinations
Edit 2: glitch, eyes, screech and Timothy do more damage while glitch puts a static effect on-screen and appears more to disorient everyone

I like that idea but instead of rush coming back
If it is a vent room, a locked room, or anything else he will keep coming back around 3-4 times but after the 3-4 times he comes he will finally bang open the door
And also Screech, when he does “psst” he only gives you 1 second to look at him and he spawns more commonly
And now Halt will do 80 damage while glitch will do 50
And a new entity
Expand
You will know if Expand is coming by if the lights flickered in a very short amount of time
When he comes hide in the corner and if it is a wide room you could hide against the wall

Ability: Stares people down
I will explain rn:
They will see before going to it's room a grey light Infront of the door;
When you get to the room
Stare will appear, and every 1 second he will deal 5 damage. He will, just like eyes dissaper after getting to next room.
Clue: hiding from him so he can't see you won't deal any.

Rebound uses a hitbox and it's the reason why you died, he doesn't use raycasting unlike Rush and Ambush

This is an script. Hardcore is an script so you can't play it until you fire the script. The badges are bugged so you get them every run.

Theory time: Rebound was a human was just walking through the new hotel (let’s say at the release of doors). So they were pro and got to Door 100 and the elevator. When Figure breaks the elevator Rebound somehow gets back up and starts running back. They meet Rush and fail to dodge him in time. In the *t r a n s f o r m a t i o n* Rebound loses their human body, their chin gets stretched they got more eyes.

Tbh Doors needs an actual difficulty tweak.
Once you beat the game it’s not scary nor hard, the only entity to kill you is figure or rush due to someone yoinking the closet.
Endless Doors is a good example of having it not be too hard but also not holding punches with its entities.
