I used to have a similar recipe that I'd lost years ago and forgotten about. Baste with the dijon/brown sugar mix, wrap it tightly in foil and bake it til tender. It was amazing. Thank you for the reminder!
That looks amazing. Tomorrow night will be my first year cooking the corned beef in the oven, I'm definitely using this technique, best I've seen by far.
Nice recipe to offset the salty flavor. Although I wouldn't use Aluminum foil w any form of acid. Acid and Aluminum is a no no. It can cause a reaction and cause stomach issues. Use parchment paper when using lemon, vinegar ,tomato or anything that is acidic. Even an Aluminum pan or pot can cause stomach distress
2:37 "eh I'm just gonna eyeball it..." That made me LOL because I do that a lot, "eh, this looks good enough". And there's never a problem with it. It looks amazing tasty! What sides did you serve with it?
One more thing i wish to add dont go for the expensive cord beef there is less fat on it. Go for the cheaper corn beef the reason why that fat add to the flaover and you can trim it off after its cooked
Just tried this, gets a thumbs up from me. Minimal effort with pretty darn tasty results. I like it and will do it again for sure.
Great to hear!

Women would say, “if you find a man who can cook! He’s a keeper”. I can’t cook, but you just made me a keeper. Everything went well.
Love it! Glad it went well and you’re a keeper 😁
This is one of theee best recipes out here. Guinness

Thanks for the info.
Made it today. Very good! Thanks
Glad you liked it.
I'll reserve final judgement until I've tried it but this recipe looks fantastic.
I’ll reserve final judgement on your comment until you’ve un-reserve your final judgement on the recipe lol…
Looks great
Thanks!
I'm not crazy about mustard, but brown sugar and a little apple cider would be really good.
Older video 🎉New Subscriber 🎉 and I’m making this yum
I hope you like it.
Does this work for Brisket or not a good idea? Thanks 😊
I haven’t used it on brisket, let me know if you do. I do have a great brisket video you should try.
@@agoodlifehomestead7032 Corned beef is made from brisket, that's the cut of meat.
I bet it would be great!

I saw what you did there😂😂😂😂😂
Do you do fat side up? Didn’t look like it during first rubbing.
I do
I almost want to use butter but...I haven't yet 🤷...my favorite cut is the point. Lots of fat
Who is playing in background
It’s under themes in the iMovie app. Doesn’t give a band name. Just says playful. 🤷♀️
Why not put the pepper in with the marinade? Brushing the marinade tended to wipe off the pepper!
Thanks for tip
