Interesting video of a route the eastern end of which I have never traveled on! Regarding double-articulated trolleybuses, in Switzerland they are becoming quite common! Luzern has about thirty. I have also ridden on double-articulated trolleybuses in Winthertur , St Gallen, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne and Linz (Austria).
You must go try out the newest line, the S20, which is tram-train going from Altstetten up along the Limmat valley the next time you visit :) I meant that the specifically double-articulated trolleybuses are quite a rare sight, as many cities like Winterthur, Basel, Luzern or even Zurich are slowly introducing fully electric battery-run double-articulated buses or hybrid ones... the new ones from Basel maon station to the Airport on Line 50 are especially really fancy! So the trolleybuses won't be around for too long I think, especially this older model I rode in this video which has an amazing engine sound :)
@@hugobazin8052 Thank you. I have already been on the Limmatal Bahn; very impressive! I have not been on the battery-electric buses on Basel route 50. Regarding trolleybuses, they very definitely do have a future. All the new trolleybuses being delivered to Swiss cities are 'in motion charging' vehicles with batteries which can take them a few kilometres off the wires. Just ride (and video) Zurich route 83! Biel/Bienne has just ordered some in-motion charging trolleybuses only twelve metres long.
Witikon looks like a nice place since it is high above the center of Zürich Did your phone overheat since it had trouble with the sound at the end there ?
Witikon is decent, depends where exactly, not all zurich is as one might think it to be, many areas are pretty tired looking! I'm not sure why the sound cut out, normally it doesn't overheat
Thanks! Zurich is very interesting!
Thank you for watching :) Zurich is a fascinating mix a lots of different things going on for sure!
Beautiful view have a beautiful day Sunday
