I had a UA-cam channel for a few years, documenting the building of our straw bale home. What we have in common, in my opinion, was the desire to share information and experiences. Unfortunately in the world of UA-cam, presenters who concentrate on selling their brand ( their personality) tend to be the most successful. That doesn't mean they're providing the most information, but it usually means they're getting the most views, most sponsorships and the most money from their videos. I burned out after about 4 years. I'm so glad to see you have a level head on your shoulders and hope to continue to see your videos long into the future.
Hey, really getting a lot from your content, I’m in the UK and have been in ‘Coffee’ for 25 years but only last year did we open our own coffee shop and then start roasting our own guest coffees to offer as an alternative to the house blend and to sell as retail, I cringe when I look back at the things I used to tell other coffee shop owners or technicians about best practice etc.. when I was only mixing in the inner circles of coffee, it’s only now when I have my own business and the realities that go with the territory that I realise how much bull*hit and elitism there is in the coffee world, so easy to get caught up in the emperors new clothes! Appreciate your honesty and abilities, really felt mentored through your videos.
