I have looked over your wiring techniques. I am concerned about whether or not you are soldering your connectors. I have found that these connectors will oxidize or corrode after a short time causing a voltage drop and a corresponding increase in resistance. You might want to look into that. Low voltage DC wiring is especially susceptible to this problem.

Plenty available on "Branstormers" from $9000.00-$24,000.00 brand new.....Even has an "Amphibian", if you so inclined.....Looks like they are about the only decent UL left that anyone can afford.....Ev'ry one else going outta bizzness......or too high.....

safety wire those header/muffler springs...when they break, right thru the prop!

One more thing, on all the electrical connections, why dont they provide the Male version of the same plug that you pushed the spades into? Those connections could be soldered as well as crimped and the plug would snap together and be way more reliable especially given all the vibration.

To add to Mr. Judd's comment, I cant believe that you don't use locking plug connectors as just blades stuck into that block WILL come loose some day, Either by getting pulled on unknowingly or vibration. Those plug connectors are very susceptible to moisture using only one side..

At 2:05, you have nylon lock nuts without the bolts going through to show at least two threads. I know this video is old. But I hope this isn’t a norm.

Great Video series. Wish I had this last year when I built mine. Can you do something on rudder cable tension, I am always wondering if I have too much or too little.

Did you enjoy the build and how long did it take you?

Noticed the copper terminal connector on the aluminum frame. What sort of galvanic corrosion on the frame is there with that connection and the DC current? How often are tin coated connections used to prevent corrosion?

At 22:30, stop the video, go forward to 46:28 to finish the last few seconds of the video ... everything between 22:30 and 46:28 is a waste of repeat time....

How long is the suction line on the fuel pump?

The real question is, is it still part 103 with that engine? Or are you now experimental, LSA?

Why did you mount the plate to the engine with the FWD mark pointing away from the belt drive? Isn't the belt drive the front of the engine?

2:15 - FWD = front of the AIRCRAFT

Doesn't drive belts and pulleys go to the front of the plane?

That mounting plate is begging to have some lightening holes drilled in it

Is crank case pressure driving the fuel pump? Didnt really understand how it was working.

The pressure pulse from the pistons drives a diaphragm which pumps the fuel.
