Don’t buy the new one. Get a 2015 hybrid model for pennies on the dollar. No one except hardcore car people will know the difference and it’s still quick af (6 sec). It is the best car I have ever owned by far and I actually love that thing. It is that good. That said, it is kind of a boring car. You can floor it and be stupid in it and it will never loose traction. It is not like a mustang or Ferrari. It is the ultimate safe and fun A to B car you can consistently use without fear of breakdown. On a side note, repairs are something you should definitely budget for. 5k repairs and service is at least a yearly thing
I completely agree with you most cars these days are rubbish. I had this engine in a Panamera. I enjoyed it. I went for the Panamera because the interior is nicer than the Cayenne. Good review, I enjoyed it. thanks 👍
We have the Cayenne S with the same engine and you are 100% correct Howard, it's a brilliant piece of machinery and puts a smile on your face when you drive it. Personally, the functionality of the Hybrid just doesn't justify the cost. Now, I have my Taycan 4S CT due shortly................now there's a bit of kit I'm looking forward to being a DD. Are you planning on reviewing one of those?
Do you hear humming noise when driving electric at 10-20 miles/hr speed? The dealers say it is normal, intending to alert pedestrians. But BMW hybrids do make such noise.

2022 cayenne's have new infotainment. that's the old infotainment. so it's probably not a 2022.
