I feel the same way about the mountains when the wife and I go down to Gatlinburg. I see the mountains and it just makes me smile. It always feels like I'm "coming home" in a way.

Omg my husband and I just hiked keeowee state park here in SC and ate our salads 🥗 in the parking lot on the ground while charging the car w/ our dogs! Synchronized Lolol 😅😂 Also! for your pups tummy, if you are okay with doing CBD treats prior to the road trip (20 minutes) it might calm her down enough & you can give her pumpkin purée packets while on the road (kind of like applesauce packs) and she will go to the bathroom better/ loosen her nerves. (hope that helps!)

Do you have renter’s insurance? It may pay for a hotel while your apartment is being repaired.
