A little about us:
In September 2015, our hearts were hijacked with the dream of living on a large farm, with community, growing food, caring for animals and loving on children in need of care and healing. It was a God moment, where our dreams collided with His dreams… a dream so big we could never do it in our own strength and wisdom. Since then, we have been on a journey to see that dream become a reality. This channel documents that journey.

Im excited and jealous !!! ha ha Im a country boy at heart so I looove all the land you guys were given to "Over see"! I found your channel when you made the CFT Worm Bin, Im heart broken you wont be doing anything with that for a long time I'm sure due to the new adventures on that Big property, Ill wait though... but I just ordered 1k worms so maybe I can come here anyways and see if you've a least commented on possible questions regarding the worms :) Again congratulations on the amazing land and community dreams!!! Most “community “ attempts fail because “people” do not get along most times-- history shows that human trait is true. Hope your effort fares well and has a legal plan for problems when humans disagree. And does not become a cult type situation.
Just so you are aware, when I clicked on your website a message popped up that said, "people may be trying to steal your passwords, etc from this site." Then offered a button to go back to safety. Is this happening to others or am I the only one?

Did this project fall through? I saw that mentioned on your Facebook page (just found you guys). Stumbled upon this video from searching for homesteading communities- everything you said at the end is what I’m looking for! I will keep watching to see how God develops this story even through disappointment.
Yep that project ended up falling through but we are currently on a nationwide tour documenting different homesteads while looking for a new place to establish a homesteading community so stay tuned! He’s gonna do it!

If you are a homesteader or farmer and you want to help your local community then SHARE YOUR SEEDS WITH YOUR NEIGHBORS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS SO THEY HAVE IT TOO!!! Plant seeds in the community different crops nest water ways so you don’t have to worry about having to water them like MORINGA SEEDS AND TREE PLANTS!!! Aren't moringa trees for zones 9-10? This is zone 6a.
@@kristieharper4846 they can be grown indoors as any other plant or tree. You can transplant them when they are more mature and they will be fine in any zone they are very tolerant and drought resistant colder climates like zones 4ab&b are where indoors mostly because of inclement weather high winds can uproot them easily and devastate but a mature tree will be able to withstand even harsh storms! They’re more like a bamboo shoot and flexible instead of super hard. Geothermal options are very easy for wilderness just digging down will protect them from the harsh wind while they are still trying to mature and the seedling should be fine! I noticed when I planted my seeds directly that the animals came right to them as soon as leaves sprouted!!! So that is the biggest obstacle in the beginning is the animals!!! inJOY 🕊💖✨👑💛✨
Looking for a homesteading community for my family to move to. Im a teacher by trade, my son is learning welding and my daughter is wanting to become a vet for farm animals. Willing to relocate!

Shoot I live in a state that requires us to register our gardens they have to much control some states ! if I was younger I'd hight tail it get out of dodge .

I do have a question or two. You mentioned the property is surrounded by government land. Was/is this property also government property? You mention soybeans are being grown here. Were they also planted by the government? You are aware of gmo soybeans? Bred to resist pesticides. Soaked in pesticides. The ground destroyed by this process and unable to recover? I pray that is not the case with this land. Glyphosate and Decamba, just to name a couple, both products of Monsanto/Bayer. If it’s in the soil, organic farming is out. Living on it is a death sentence.
You probably don’t understand but chemicals have a half life and they breakdown. Within a year any pesticides that used on that land are gone.

Im witnessing every farmer and homesteaders I know be taken out in one way or another being targeted and too many coincidental “accidents” of the same kind or drunk drivers without license and person is immigrant or the other current prevalent happening is fires or animals being mutilated or stolen off homesteads!!! Not just animals but CROPS TOO!!!
