Demon souls is a remake so mechanics will be reworked too since bluepoint is good at remakes. and death loop is made by the devs behind dishonored. so yeah not surprised it's similar.
Miles Morales is a stand-alone EXPANSION just like Infamous First Light and Uncharted Lost Legacy. Stand-alone implies that you don't need to own nor install Spider-Man PS4 in order to play it. It's not a full game nor a sequel.

For me as a hardcore PlayStation fan it's been over for Xbox way before the showing of greatness from the beginning of this generation Microsoft message which clouded for me I could not understand the focus of their product so as a consumer I took it upon myself to continue being in the ecosystem I've been in the past 23 years so Microsoft got to do more than just show the most powerful console in the world not just once but twice with no results of a compelling IP
It’s definitely an uphill battle for Microsoft, but I like the energy and focus they’re bringing this time around. A far cry from the Don Mattrick approach. -Lex
