- Dooney & Bourke's Art Deco Collection is one of my favorites of all time with MAJOR Y2K vibes! The 2000s are back with a modern revamp. There have been several improvements to this handbag retro reboot including purse feet and 14K gold plated hardware. Let's unbox & compare the Art Deco Hobo bag with the Louis Vuitton Boulogne bag, which has a similar silhouette & size, but VASTLY different prices. I've gone to the dark side trying out the black monogram canvas, and it's such a cool look!

Such a cute print! The chain looks really pretty on it. I believe Dooney does that rougher finish on the underside of the strap to help it stay on your shoulder. Thanks for sharing. 🤗

Whaaa?! 14k GHW?? 🤯 I didn’t think any brands were still using gold. Weird that they didn’t use it on the interior too, but still a great deal Jen. Love this monogram print. ❤
If Dooney can use 14K GHW and charge $288 for a bag, surely the designer brands can do the same and charge 10X that amount?

I bought this bag back in December when they had a 30% off sale and an additional $20 off with code. I never thought about it looking like the Bologne. And that was a bag I was interested in. The Art Deco collection did give me Murakami vibes as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if LV came out with another collection like they did with the denim.
LV really should revive Murakami items!
Oh but those prices are going to be insane just like those denim pieces. I might want to start looking for vintage.

For an everyday bag, I personally think the Hobo is the most practical out of the three.
