Timothy is almost the twin of my own son who did pass away from a heroin overdose after many years of rehab and extremely similar circumstances. I have watched that movie so many times .. not just because of that but because it is so similar that it makes me feel closer to my son who died. I know that must not make must sense. Since then .. I continue to struggle with guilt and memories that just won't let my heart go. My son did get a second chance (after a handful of NDE ODs .. ) because he IS HOME now. No more suffering. I know he is ok now wherever he is but I still miss him so much I cannot even explain it. Bless everyone who struggles with any kind of addiction and the aftermaths.. all the in betweens. Even when they are "gone" they never really go away. (P.S most of the commenters have no true ability of empathy .. )

He was amazing, without the medication violence & highs & lows paranoia without.I understand mental illness. He wouldn’t do it & I had no choice to cut him off. This movie is bittersweet as well 💔❤️

I can fully relate, but as someone who suffer from mental illness, bipolar disorder in particular. The disruption drugs cause in our body/soul/mind/brain is almost the same. But on a level that our brain let us down just like that. If I succeed and vanquish it(manage to function), I wanna help people who suffers from mental illnesses and drug addicts. But Oh Lord how hard is it, its hell. You exist but you dont live.

Fear of addiction after coming off of alcohol . Now I have many defect and so many but only 1 no. I wish there were other ways to ease my situation then what will help what I have in illnesses.
