White Town also known as French Quarter or French Colony is a residential area in Pondicherry which boasts of an interwoven culture of the Tamils and the primal French families. The colony retains the old world charm, and the architecture of ancient French Quarters. Most of these have been converted into heritage hotels, restaurants, quirky cafes and art galleries.
Promenade Beach is situated adjacent to White Town and is popularly known for its azure waters, ocean sprays, shimmering sand, beautiful coastline, and cosy ambiance. It is ideal for morning and evening jog and stroll.
