Hi Chase ThermoPlastic Urethane has a very poor lifespan. The Sidi my father was rocking in the 70's were all leather and inox. They lasted for decades. The Sidi I bought lasted 5 years and, because I didn't have the chance to ride much, I had to put them in the rubish bin after very few miles. And so it goes for Fox, Gaerne, Alpinestar... I'm a fan of the BIO (Buy It Once) idea, and I think Off Road boots should be in the category. Do you know of some TPU Free Off Road Boots ?
Water resistant but not waterproof. If you want a waterproof MX boot, check out the Alpinestars tech 7 drystar. Leatt also has a waterproof version of the 4.5 coming out soon as well.
yeah these "reviewers" need to look at the tags...gaerne is the ONLY boot that is sill manufactured in Italy. Croatia is another country SIDI's are manufactured in.
How do these compare to SIDI Charger (fit / features)? They were perfect to me but now discontinued.
how do they fair for the winter does it keep my feet warm ?
Do these way in less than the crossfire's?
How do you feel the metatarsal protection is on the X3?
