Great video! In my opinion, the Maelstrom battle cruiser is more meant as a defensive unit, pairing them with victory 1/2’s along with a starbase that allows for AOE heals as it deals massive damage but only when the enemy comes into its (in my opinion) short weapons range. I find that you need two of them plus a support fleet and it can do its job but as a solo unit i would rather have a Praetor or even the same pop cap of smaller Frigates/ Starfighter carriers. One idea is to Knock out the Pentastar alignment everywhere but three planets (one of the ones not taken including Bilbringi as when you eliminate the majority of their worlds you gain any and all units they have remaining and you could possibly get some good ships/ units like those siege towers or if you are really lucky, their gunships are monsters. This also gives you almost half the proper northern galaxy producing money/ units which can easily push through the opposition.

That's the plan with the PA moving forward. I still need to hunt down Jerec and take Bastion, although I think those will be done at the same time.
Love the EaW content
