@@freerunspeed2165 I race in that model. For two reasons I have so many of the old ones I want to use them, and (2) I like to know I have a slightly faster shoe on race day up my sleeve!
I love when we get to watch these athletes over the years work so hard and you see how disciplined and talented they are and it starts coming to fruition. Sam is killing it right now and it's fun to see. You yo yo
You might enjoy music by Livingston. Shadow, Architect, Toy Soldier, Superkid, Hercules, The Giver are some good upbeat songs. I''m going to see him in concert at Rio Theatre in Vancouver Canada on 6-June.
Pool swimming is a lot different than open water swimming. Turns, dolphin kicks, stream lining don't matter in am open water swim. A lot of kids who can swim a 500 free in 5 minutes won't even come first out of the water in their local triathlon swim for these reasons...
sams swimming technique is horrible, if we worked on that we would be winning everyone at 100T including Ditlev. Can't understand how an athlete of his level doesn't work on what clearly is backing him from winning a lot more
I am working on it, very hard, in fact. I think we can compare that to many people in many aspects of life. Just cause something “isn’t good” doesn’t mean we aren’t working hard at it.
@@SamYoYoYoLong I know you put a lot of volume into swimming but if you are not efficient in your propulsion, hand entry, hydrodinamics… you are just wasting time. You probably have one of the biggest engines in the water due to all the volume but poorly used. If I were you, I would try to find an elite swimming coach and fix technique, the marginal benefit you would obtain could be crazy. Just a recommendation, I am not at your level by no means. Good luck Sam!
Yo Yo Yo!!!!
Yo Yo Yo!!!
Why not the Asics Metaspeed Sky Paris?

Please do Lionel soon 🙏🏻
Sam seems to be a good dude
What a pleasure it has been to watch @samyoyoyolong growth as an athlete and a human!
That dude is an animal!!! After swimming and riding he runs a mile time 18 seconds faster than I do without the first two activities. Great video!!
so genuine and hard-working guy. I wish you massive success, Sam
Good luck in San Fran. I'm rooting for you to take over the lead in the T100.
Come on Sam!! He's a nice guy, I wish you the best of luck!!

Sam’s progress has been phenomenal!
Loved this video. Sam is so likeable and has a tremendous engine. Thanks!!
So beautiful to listen to his thoughts before training
What a gem of a video this is for an amateur triathlete. Just focus on having fun and train hard when its needed.
this video is so sick, sam is an awesome athlete and a very likeable personality
Sam is great, such good energy
Easily the most entertaining and engaging triathlete out there. The only non Brit I root for.

Loved this video. It's amazing how much I learned in 35 minutes. Thanks 🙌
More Sam! Amazing spirit and energy!
love the big unit!
Love the raw footage!!
He’s such a nice guy. Good Luck, Sam.
Sam is a great guy and an exceptional ambassador for triathlon/Ironman. I look forward to seeing him win Kona. 👍👍✌️

Sam, the true American triathlete.
This guy so fun 😂
Thank you!’
Pretty amazing what the body can handle.
Everyone go Mt. Lemmon on thursday! Groupride with Sam... lol...
When you train and/or race, do you run tubeless?
i dont get it, how do you survive running on tarmac on this volume... must be a young body thing... this pounding is crazy
Do you ever train in the ocean or choppy rivers?
insane training pensum
Great to see him hold my 1km hard effort (3:18/km) with only 147bpm 😂
Yo Yo Yo makes it look easy. Great video.
Love you Sam ❤ awesome guy
Big number, big man
Why Sam did not use watch to log his swim training session or he input data manually in training peak
That right arm triggers my ocd. I’m not a great swimmer but looks like he could do a bit of a longer extension
You don’t have OCD.
Wait what is Matt in while talking to Sam on a bike ? In a car ? Or a scooter ?
Hey Yo Yo Yo Sam Master. Do you also lift weights to increase your power?
Strongest legs in triathlon🗣️
niceeeeeee
👍
It's amazing how bad of a swimer can you be and still be close to the top of Iron Man.

I was thinking in comparison to other triathletes Sam's one of the weaker swimmers. But his bike/run is top notch.
Way to early! Lionel is still sleeping.... Zzzzzz

What makes you so sure he isn't working on it already?
Paddles are dated the notion you need strength to swim ??? Swim in a lane next to 12year olds who have little strength but are fast
