Maybe add that protests were not contained to just the university, they spilled over throughout the city centre last week where public property was destroyed, rioters threatened journalists and hit people with sticks. The street tiles and cobblestones of Amsterdam’s historic canals were ripped out and thrown at police. Police were also assaulted with fireworks and corrosive chemicals. During the protests shown in this video the in-campus shops were looted, journalists were again assaulted and equipment like tv screens, coffee machines and fridges were smashed with sticks, bats and chairs. University property like computers in public study rooms were damaged with graffiti. The university had suspended all academic activities for the next two days as it says it cannot guarantee the safety of students and staff. But yeah, let’s show how the poor “peaceful protesters” were “attacked” by police.
They should have sent in the religious police to sort out the inappropriate clothing of the females and to confirm that each had the written permission of a male relative to be in attendance.

These terms were breached almost immediately. Masked “protestors” went into the university buildings and started destroying study areas, computers, etc. Support staff was threatened and force to leave. Journalists were physically pushed out of the building. Etc
@@JSK010 Exactly, in the video at 0.29, subtitles tell that the university had asked for the police to stop the occupation of the buildings and the premises. The UVA is the owner of these buildings and premises. So I don’t see the misleading. Meanwhile the damages are at least € 1.500.000.- and counting.
@@theovanderstorm3171 the 1.5 million concerned the demonstration last week. Yesterdays damages have yet to be calculated.
Misleading because no images of the vandalism are shown, no mention of intimidated journalists and university staff is made, no mention of "masked protestors" going up stairs to look for the university board.

How is being against genocide pro-hammas? Also have you considered that that people in Gaza are also not fond of Hammas. The limited poling that could be done in this dangerous place has shown that Hammas would instantly lose an election if it was held. Maybe instead of throwing bombs at civilian population they can make sure an election can actually be held?
Also if you would ever have put in the slightest amount of effort you would know that Hammas is an Israelian created organization and has received a lot of money of Israel especially during its early years.
This was done because extremely religious groups where deemed less of a threat then the way better organized previous governments before Hammas. Which has been the playbook for lots of countries in the middle east and northern Africa for years by the US and of course by extension Israel.
