Holy crap I can’t believe you just commented, you have some good stuff! I’ve actually been watching you since you did Fujifilm reviews and I have a fuji camera. Anyways, I will be doing some great videos coming soon, next one is on The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
I am not gonna lie my initial thought process before watching the film was that I didn’t think the movie was going shock or eventually become a film I would watch over and over again. But I was wrong this film is so good man I mean the mystery, Rush, the desire to know more in every single scene was incredible to me and this movie is going in my top 10 films of all time. I know a lot people were surprised by the performance by Hugh Jackman which he did do a terrific job but Jake Gyllenhaal went to another absolute level. With the Emotional aspect in terms of him trying to solve the case and we can’t forget him doing the eye twitch thing. But yeah wow I went on a tangent. Also forgot to mention that scene with detective Loki getting pissed off about the case was soo good and you get to see the next clue wow incredible.
you should keep doing this. I mean, these kind of reviews or laying open your thought process without spoiling anything from the film. I mean, neither tell nor show; just feel!
Yeah I think I would agree with you. Probably the best film of the 2010’s. If I could classify Twin Peaks: The Return as a film I think that would take the cake for me, but that’s a show. 🤷♂️
i think that a mystery is the key to most people’s imaginations - a good mystery allows a person to think, which allows them to feel.
thats a good observation!
Your Lynch impression is top tier
I really loved how this movie brilliantly started as mysterious then turned out to be a master class of questions of morality and religion
One of the best films I have ever seen. Very underrated and I enjoyed your take on it.
1:21 Bro🤣🤣
Glad you liked that impression haha
@@mr_celluloid Loved it😆
one of the best films

@@mr_celluloid awesome! love that movie too 🤘
This movie is more terrifying than Evil Dead or any other horror movie to me, I wished I didn't watch it.

I LOVE every performance in this film! And I also love Jake’s rage scene

"don't tell
and don't show either." 😏
such a good movie
I think Prisoners is both a psychological thriller AND a film noir. It's the best film noir of the last 30 years.

Thanks man
A movie that ruined movies for me.
I haven’t a seen a modern movie even come close to its greatness since.

0:23 I disagree about that. The torture scene in the bathroom is very violent and graphic.
Im Gonna make this movie an unsettling thanksgiving tradition
Very nice impression of David Lynch! 👍
Yes I watched this in the theaters.
Most disturbing movie I ever saw
Bro I can very much agree with this dude as I love this film heaps but it is very intense
Don’t show, imply!
Great video man! Keep it up
Phenomenal video about a masterpiece. P.S I loved that David Lynch voice lol
Wow, how did you get the real David Lynch to record a quote for this video?
Lol I love you man! It’s one of my many impressions I can do!
Do u have a movie just like this movie plot or ambiguity Because iam stak in it 🥲
Sorry I don’t understand?
@@mr_celluloid i think he's asking if you could recommend any more movies that are similar to this.
@user-ut3vr2os7f
Villeneuve’s Incendies has a very similar feel to it’s ambiguity, so I’d recommend that
