She gets bullied for coming in front of camera with her natural face and her sister gets bullied for not being natural. It is truly not possible to make people happy.
Gigi helped her ex bf zayn with his eating disorder despite the fact that she never was allowed to have full meal by her Yolanda mother. This thing will forever make me like her as a person.
@Unsa in this case please stay away from people like them and know that you are enough for yourself. You need to be in a healthy environment not a toxic one. A flower will only bloom when the environment cooperates.
I hope Yolanda did not have her children only to put them into fashion industry, all three of them ! I mean they surely are intellectually intelligent and could have been satisfied with different career paths.
@Unsa some of those types will hug and kiss you only for something in return. My grandmother is that person. My cousin is currently at the ER, deteriorating from terminal stomach cancer. My aunt has been in and out of the hospital for months being worn thin. She's in her 60s and can't take disability to take off from work from already being on it previously recently. FMLA isn't paid. Do you think my grandmother gives a shit? NOPE, literally as soon as my aunt came back from the hospital, my grandmothers munchousen (sp) syndrome started up & my aunt is now back in a different ER dealing with the BS. I've already told my aunt my grandmother needs to be put in a nursing home or put on a strong sedative to contain her personality disorders - she has at least 3, but of course, my aunt is so traumatized that she unwittingly enables it all. It's so messed up.
She just looks like a real, everyday person. She’s living a more simple life on her ranch with her family. I applaud her! She seems happy. Good for her!
Really? She wouldn't be in this financial position if she looked like an "everyday" person. How lucky for her that she was able to become a mega millionaire off her DNA lottery (and marrying a mega pop star as well).
@@justforviewing2 her father is a multimillionaire (worth between $100-200 million). So she would have been living this lifestyle regardless of how she looked to be fair.
wtf, she is gorgeous and still looks great. her "chubby face" is what made her famous. she's always had very rounded facial features and the only reason her younger sister doesn't have it is through copious amounts of radical surgery. her skin is glowing, she's a beautiful momma. people should mind their damn business.
God forbid we let women age lol wtf I personally think it’s fkn awesome that gigi has gained a little weight and is letting herself age gracefully instead of turning herself into a cyborg, uncanny-valley, botoxed freak. especially when we are having a heroin-chic revival and her sister is getting so scarily thin. Bella looks SICK. It just says a lot about how warped our brains are by the media we consume, that people could even look at gigi and think glow down…
I went to Malibu High with G & B. Their mom pushed both into modeling due to her connections & their dad was renown for flamboyant parties & young girlfriends. They where both insecure, esp Bella after Gigi got on SI magazine (her dad knows the editor). Gigi career took off. Bella had a bunch of surgeries after, I don’t recognise her now! She got a nose job at 14, then later had brow lift and cheekbones done with Dr.Ourian (rumours from the hills lol). She went high fashion, as Gigi was the girl next door, wholesome look. Makes sense. But you don’t understand how TOXIC the hills are, competitive family clans, pressure to succeed to be famous, etc. Every other Malibu mom uses her kids like a birkin bag to show off. Like, look at my daughter- I bought her a career. Influence and power is what those people are all about, living in their own ego bubbles and echo chambers.
@@giakolou2876 clearly you’ve never lived in the hills 😂 the Ivy restaurant used to be the spot for all the glam moms & gossip, the things my older sister knows about everyone’s past is Netflix worthy. But my families business benefits from that crowd 🤐
I believe you. I worked in the entertainment industry on the business side but in the thick of things. Nepotism is big there as it it is in lots of other industries. But Hollywood is insulated in that way. It makes it harder for outsiders to get in. I left around the time the reality tv and social media craze started to wreck havoc on the traditional entertainment industry. Gigi looks like she had work done. In her cheeks and lips. But nevertheless I don't think she's a beautiful woman. She is average or normal looking. She's not like a Naomi Campbell or Heidi Klum who were born beautiful and got their foot in door through actual hard work.
She looks amazing and human, I'm tired of people putting down women especially mothers because their body changes. She looks happy and with that it put a smile on my face, that's more than what most models make me feel.
@@teoleno4019 It's sad really, idk if I'd want to be a mother yet but the fact that so many people shame mothers it's crazy and they wonder why the birth rates are dropping
@@teoleno4019 Or some people just don't want to be mothers. I've actually experienced the opposite, being looked down on because I didn't want children.
She has a baby, she had a bad breakup, her mom is mean and hard to deal with, the fame brings a lot of stress to her and there are other things that are probably more important to her than how she looks. She will always be gorgeous. I love that I can see her also as a normal person. Btw, that's not a glow down!
For real like she had just dealt with a break up and has a little baby that needs her all the time, if she was in the opposite state they'd go like "she's a bad mom who only cares about herself" or "she didn't love zayn enough to be stressing over the break up" idk what this effed up society expect women to do.
@@Morgsn34532 it is said that zayn unfollowed gigi and stuffs have been going on and on but I'm not sure about what clearly happened, except for they've broken up.
In the world of instagram filters, high coverage foundations and botox treatments, it's so refreshing to see celebrities go on camera not looking like they're on a red carpet, while being in their bathroom. Gigi is absolutely stunning and I hope all the nasty comments won't get to her
actually the fact that she looks soo normal is the reason why I likeher way more than her sister....Gigi feels soo much more relatable and I hopethat she is confident enough anddoesnt listen to people who say this ugly s*it to her
She's as pretty as the girl in the street who doesn't have super rich parents, money for treatments, filters airbrushing and professional make up artists at hand.
I've heard people well-versed in plastic surgery say that Gigi and Rihanna are 2 of the very very very few amount of celebs who have had "absolutely nothing" done to their faces... no tweaks, no injections, no surgeries. It gives perspective. She may not be living up to the Hollywood beauty standards but see her walking down the street and she's undoubtedly a stunner. The criticism is so strange. Motherhood can change your looks temporarily or permanently. Aging happens to everyone. She's beautiful in my opinion. I find her realness refreshing esp. because she's not going out of her way to "be real"
Rihanna has had a boob job though... I remember when I was younger and it happened because she had virtually nothing in her early career. So not completely natural, also I’ve questioned if that’s her real eye colour because younger pics of her she had darker eyes but it could just be the lighting
Honestly huge props to Gigi for following what feels authentic to her. She’s beautiful, makeup or not, and focused on living her life for HER and her baby. Love that for her!!!
@@miac2382 Hello Mia, to answer your question, i feel all women SHOULD do this. I applaud any women and ANY person who is living authentically. For Gigi in this case, she is in the “public eye” and I’m sure it can be challenging to not feel a sense of pressure to appease others considering the level of attention and comments she receives. Have a blessed day! 🤍
I remember something from years ago which is really relevant today: Cindy Crawford was asked in a TV interview about people who felt negatively about themselves because they didn't look like her. Her reply: "But I don't look like this".
There a very famous celebrity makeup artist that said he doesn’t know how to do regular make up work. He does makeup for the camera and in person it looks absurd.
My face shape is really similar to her‘s and hearing other people saying she‘s ugly or has jowls isn‘t exactly doing wonders for for my confidence. Mean comments like these don‘t only affect the people they’re directed at, but could also be hurting other people with similar features. Our concept of beauty has become so warped and disgusting.
Don’t listen to those comments. I think round faces are beautiful and always give a youthful look. That’s why most people mistook Gigi for the younger Sibling. I found her faceshape always to be very beautiful! It’s just that the hollow look is for whatever reason popular (in the western world!!)
Round faces with abundant fat age better!!!! Round faces have the better end of the deal. Square faces are also beautiful, they are regal and admired historically (Greek). Beauty is what you make it, knowing your features and loving them. That’s true beauty.
Love how you said "she doesn't owe anyone pretty". When I was 15 with a relatively clear complexion as a teenager, my older sister said "why don't you sort your face out, because we have to look at it". Absolutely evil. She gave me such a complex I developed spots and acne. Resulting in pigmentation and some scarring. Years later a boyfriend told me that she must be jealous. I didn't even realise that. Fact is she was and still is.
She was definitely jealous I'm so sorry. As an older sister I could never say or even think such a thing about my little sister- she is so much more beautiful than I, and I wouldn't want to change that at all!
If that was the case then everybody could be a model not just certain standards and people. And certain heights. Everybody would/could be a model if their were no standards but that's not the case is it?
Her mum only allowing Gigi to have a tiny bit of her own birthday cake made me feel really sad for her. To me, Gigi's joy in being a mum has made her have a beautiful, natural glow.
Well it’s hard to be sexy when you have hormonal imbalance, be in Postpartum period when you actually bleeding and everything is hurting, and you sleep only for max 4hours for few years (when you have baby and when child teeth comes out)
Would a TSH of 5 be enough for a diagnosis? Drs have been gaslighting me for years due to being on the upper limit of normal and not worse, but I got all the symptoms of hypothiroid (i hope not Hashimotos, but still bad, either way) @@xxxthatgirlxxx
I REALLY, REALLY HOPE Gigi stays on that beautiful farm, enjoys her life with her family and their animals, keeps being happy and ignore the haters. Good for her and any other famous women that put THEMSELVES FIRST, AND NOT THE PUBLIC !!!
They can only stay there as long as the MONEY LASTS. Most of us have to work at sucky jobs at her age. . . Why do people like you defend this bullsh*t?!? Are you happy working like a plebe while others get to prance around like princesses all day? Jesus.
It's so unfortunate that we are living in times of mass deception when it comes to womens image that when we see a beautiful woman in all her glory - being her natural self and postpartum - that we say she's glowed down. Gigi is beautiful as ever! x
I seen Gigi calling others ugly on twitter. She was bragging saying that her and Zayn are good looking and calling others ugly so I don't feel sorry for her
I applaud the fact she has never succumbed to getting any surgery to achieve the more angular jawline. Gives all of us more rounded faced girls someone to compare ourselves to. She's naturally stunning, will always look younger than she is because of her fuller face and deserves to live her life without all the scrutiny She's put under
She's def had fillers nd smthng done around her cheeks. Surgery isn't a bad thing, the best part abt Gigi is she still looks like herself and has simply enhanced her look.
The sad truth is since her glow down is now a topic, she will most likely go under the knife. She’ll disappear for a few months and debut a new look like Ariana, Kendall, Bella, and many other celebrities.
Gigi looks great and honestly, I'm so tired of seeing every celebrity have that "Instagram face." When you see the pictures of what all the other models looked like before, it's clear they've all had a LOT of surgery and procedures. Pregnancy and motherhood change your body and sometimes, your face. Good for her for doing what she wants to do. BTW, she'll probably age really well because those cherubic faces with round cheeks always do.
we need to realize the amount of energy, time and mental health we are wasting on topics which ultimately lead to "beauty standards" or simply "beauty". why are we so miserable..
In a world where so many girls strive to look identical - I think it's beautiful that Gigi embraces her natural unique features. Her cheeks are still beautiful & make her look youthful & adorable. But as a woman in my 30s, these are just the normal changes. And it isn't ugly - we live. We go in the sun. We smile. We cover it up when we're young because we don't appreciate what these marks and changes represent.

I like Gigi. I feel sad for her that she had to grow up with such a nasty mother. I think she was always pretty and still is. It's ridiculous that people make fun of women's round faces when I think it's the cutest feature that gives them a youthful and innocent look. As much as I am plastic surgery positive, shaving and reshaping someone's jawline to give it a certain angle is the most ridiculous excuse for surgery. And every celebrity that has done it looks like an old hag now.
I have a round face and have always been insecure about it, until I realised that it will benefit me in the long run and I’ll be looking 40 when I’m 50 😂
i was a bit shocked at the paparazzi pic of her side by side by Bella. no disrespect to bella, but i agree that a rounder face looks more youthful and healthy, in my opinion.
Gigi is so unbelieveably beautiful, it breaks my heart that people say that sort of stuff to her, like what on earth are their beauty standards? Only the top 0.001% count as pretty enough and everyone else deserves critique?? It must have been so hard growing up with her mum. Yes compared side to side you can tell her face and body have changed a bit- but it's natural to change, and it's not a dramtic change, people need to chill out. I hope she's happy now, that's the main thing
I don't think people realize, too, that Hashimoto's disease causes puffiness in the face. It is an autoimmune condition that's attacking your thyroid, and your thyroid is ESSENTIAL for hormone regulation. As your thyroid is under attack by your own body, you get fluid retention and inflammation in the face. This can be especially apparent during pregnancy or puberty, and during flair ups of the disease. This expansion of the face is often called Hashimoto's "moon face" and it really sucks to have to go through. My mother has Hashimoto's and she would go through different periods of her life where her face would get more or less puffy depending on how well controlled the disease was. So if you see women walking around with what looks like moon face, it often isn't just excess facial fat, but they may have a poorly controlled autoimmune disease that causes inflammation and weight gain. Be kind to these people... They're sick, and autoimmune conditions are still often under-diagnosed or under-treated. Having a chronic health condition is not easy.
I was hoping I’d find a comment explaining this! Thyroid disorders will change a person’s appearance if their thyroid numbers are off. Thank you for saying it.
Thank you for this comment! I have Hashimotos disease and honestly some days I have a double chin and some days I don't, it makes me feel so self conscious. Also my weight really fluctuates and some days I am exhausted and my body aches among a variety of other symptoms. I find that hard enough to deal with as a nobody nevermind being in the spotlight like Gigi and being scrutinized for your appearance.
Thanks my face went from super chisled (to the point that people used to vibrantly compliment me) to an absolute puffy mess after hashimotos. And yes I’ve noticed that it gets better but can can get really bad again depending on how under control my disease is. Has never gone back to my normal face though
i was about to comment about her thyroid issue! hyperthyroid definitely causes weight loss i had it at 13 and went from 150 down to 76 pounds within a month or so, with so many other symptoms from enlarged neck to shakiness, fast heart beat insomnia and never getting full funny enough. after radiation unfortunately it switched to hypothyroidism which is just as horrible in its own way, with weight gain to the puffy face and soooooo many more symptoms, i wish more people talked about it cause it’s affects you so so much!!
Yeah, it also got meanchened in the video that she got Hashimotos under control but that can take years and it always changes depending on lifestyle and different stages in your life so you never have it totaly under control when you first have this problem. Like my mum has had it since she was in her twenties and thirty years later she still has to regulate it, and have bad periods where the numbers of hormones are of. When you have it, it is something you live with and should be aware of continuing forward.
It feels like Gigi doesn't care for perfection because she's the rebel in her family especially towards her mom when it comes to looks. her teeth isn't perfectly straight, she doesn't look like she had any plastic surgeries, she probably wants to raise her daughter to be happy with being herself when she's older and to be be an example she needs to do the same for herself as well. I'm proud of her!
Good for her!! She had to follow such strict eating and schedule routines so early as a child and now she made her money, has her baby and loves her life out there in PA
Unfortunately Gigi revealed Khai's face publically against Zayn's wishes. It was HIM who wanted their daughter to have a normal life and Yolanda wanted that baby to bring in more money and fame. That's what caused their split in the first place, and Gigi sided with her toxic mother and broke their home over it.
To be fair models with perfect teeth are not wanted as much and she didn't need any plastic surgeries because she has exceptional features especially for model lolol
I think you addressed this in a very thoughtful and sensible way. Gigi is gorgeous and appears to be pretty grounded even when she is clearly under so much pressure and scrutiny from the public and even her own mother. I find that to be a very admirable trait. Thank you for sharing this.
That would b me I always wanted a sharp jaw but I never changed my looks I haven’t got Botox in 3 years and sometimes I feel so old looking and not up to the beauty standard but I still try to look my best without fillers or Botox it’s hard but some days I I do feel beautiful usually when I’m at my home
She had an actual life glow up. I'm not really a follower of her in any way. But seeing how she actually care more about her life than the public is so refreshing. If only more celebrities could be like that
I think Gigi is one of the most genuine and authentic “influencers” we have today. I love that she came on the scene looking healthy and a curvy body. I was in awe when I first saw her walk the VS show! I hope she doesn’t let societies opinions change her authenticity.
@@dwianggryresmiyardani6583 you're looking for an argument. Her mum wanted them to both be models...Gigi just wanted to play Volleybal and Bella wanted to just ride horses. Yolanda doesn't even say 'they' she says 'we' because she's sliving through them...
I feel like the idea of a glow up or glow down are equally damaging, as both suggest that your worth is based is on how you look and put pressure on the way you look. Thanks for the brilliant video steph u always make me feel happy and empowered 💜💜💜
and the fact that we all go through waves of glow ups and downs in our lives, depending on our current experiences, is never talked about. it's not just, glow up, the end! life is always changing.
I turned 29 this year and looking back at when I was 25: pre-pandemic, pre-baby, pre-100lbs weight gain, pre-grief stricken, pre-depression and anxiety diagnosis...I used to look hot and now, well, I look different. I've definitely changed and I'm slowly 🐌 getting back to a somewhat younger version of myself, dropped 43lbs so far, starting to take care of my face and hair again. My priorities definitely changed. My toddler comes first and sometimes I literally have no strength to even take a shower. It's part of being a mom. Do I miss my old self? Yeah, every minute of every day, but I've learned so much in last four years, broke down, healed...it's been a roller coaster and what can you really do? We went through a pandemic for fuck's sake. Btw the comment section is disgusting. You look amazing, momma 💟
I feel the same! Turned 30 this past year and always looking back to how I looked at 25 and struggling with how different I look now (in my case, due to chronic illness, trauma, too much weight loss, so slightly different to you but similar kind of effects). I'd seen a lot of this criticism of Gigi's appearance and it made me feel really bad about myself esp as I see similar changes in my face to the ones in hers. It's made me feel a lot better to see everyone supporting her in the comments. We shouldn't have to expect ourselves to continue looking the same in the face of aging, illness, pregnancy, mental health struggles, significant life events (ie as you've said, the pandemic has been a huge collective trauma for everyone and I think actually it's affected a lot of people's appearances and that's okay!) - we need to be kind to ourselves. However we look is fine and we just need to let ourselves (and other people) be human beings! I'm glad to hear you've done a lot of healing and hope things are going well for you and your little one now
SAME! I have a 3.5yo and a 5mo and the sleep deprivation is REAL. I wake up 5-10 times a night, when the kids are sick I’m surviving on 3 hours of sleep.. Who looks their best after just becoming a mom?! First the pregnancy, then birth, hormones all over the place, adjusting to the HUGE change in your life, sleepless nights etc.. it makes you feel 5 years older in one year!
I also think Gigi's youthful looks are due to her less angular face, and as long as she doesn't surgically change it, she'll look young alot longer than her sister, who had the fat under her cheekbones removed. It's this fat that represents a youthful look.
@@ElleBellsChannel My friend with self-described chipmunk cheeks that she hated still gets carded at 50! They asked her if she was old enough to sit in the exit row on the plane. (She's also 5' tall so that is probably part of it.) But she looks great!
Just like glow up, glow down is totally fine. Accept that the older we get the less glowy we become and that's normal and she is absolutely gorgeous regardless of her flaws.
I wish it were more acceptable for people to kind of physically ebb and flow throughout their lifetimes. Sometimes things are better, sometimes they're not. Sometimes I have a few years when I work out, and then I have a few years where I'm not in the best shape. It's normal for people to change over time. doesn't make them any less beautiful 💕
Actually, she has no "flaws". This concept of "flaws" has been made up from scratch by the industry to make you feel insecure as a woman and go buy some products to "unflaw" you.
This is actually not true - sooo many people look stunning and more refined in their 40s and 50s than they did in their 20s. A glow up is usually related to better styling (hair, makeup), better skincare, nicer clothes, and maybe cosmetic surgery. All of this is more common with people who earn money (and are therefore older). You don't start out at your most "glowy" and then become less glowy, it's usually the other way round. Gigi is still as glowy as she used to be, she's just less styled. Many people actually just start glowing up at her current age, when they really start earning money. She is only 27, and most women realistically achieve a refined glow in their 30s.
I had an absolute glow down from 30 to 31 and I feel like shit. I never dress nice anymore because I dont want people looking at me, I want to be invisible. I feel really insecure about having sex with my boyfriend, I feel like I dont deserve to be pleasured because i'm fat
@@CuteAnimalVideos2580 Your boyfriend chose you as his partner for a reason. I'm sure he thinks you are beautiful no matter what changes you go through. 💕
The modeling industry prefers slimmer models simply because that means they'll be able to squeeze into the "sample size" clothes. Sample size clothes are essentially garments made as miniscule as possible so as to conserve material cost. Pretty messed up but ey gotta account for profitability i guess ://
they prefer slim models because they like models to be like hangers, they literally dehumanize people so much the thinner you are the better in their eyes so that the clothes just hang off of you like said hanger, it’s the look they strive for on the runway and it’s disturbingly sad
@@ekaterinab6064 to be honest there probably isn't any hidden reason, they really do want to save the cost of making those garments, even tho they already have huge amounts of money. People are greedy and the more you have, the more you want. It's nor really about models, it's about garments
It really is. There's another clip of Gigi talking to her mom and she tells Gigi to only eat like one almond or something when she says she's hungry. It's extremely upsetting to think of how bad it probably was off camera.
reminds me so much of my own mum. EDs are hereditary. But not as in they're genetic but as in they're taught by mothers who themselves have disordered eating.
I think it's incredibly sad that she couldn't even eat a bloody piece of her own birthday cake without her mother shaming/lecturing her about it. That kind of attitude & behavior contributes to eating disorders, why would you do that to your child?
“We don’t all have to have the exact same features” truest thing ever said 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 To me, Gigi’s chubby face is sooo very nourishing and cute, it’s so angelic, just because she doesn’t have sharp features like other women, doesn’t mean she is not beautiful or fat, if we care about society’s standards of beauty, we will never live in peace, and nobody is ever going to like you no matter how much effort you put in.
I think it's so sad that when someone starts to look like a normal person, people cannot stand it and think that they're ugly. I could NEVER be famous.
wow you are keeping a smooth uploading streak. I really appreciate your videos, they leave me both calm, to know that it's all fake, but also sad, because of the lengths that we have come as women interacting with the cultural imposition to perform femininity (and all that comes along with it), and how it crushes us to extents that we often naturalize
THANK YOU!! I LOVE that Gigi doesn’t care as much about her looks anymore. She is absolutely gorgeous but her focus is on her child and that is absolutely beautiful. I’m glad she’s not giving in to the pressure to be perfect. She’ll be a much happier human and a more present and nurturing mother because of it.
She looks so happy with herself and her baby, and I'm so happy for her! She looks wonderful, and I think her slightly chubbier face is adorable. She's been living at a ranch for a while, so I'm sure she's gotten extra sun which is why her skin isn't perfectly smooth and airbrushed. I think she looks great, and I'm glad you talked about this.
Yes. I think the honey blonde hair (if that's her natural color) is better (or best) for her. I've been watching vids of Carol Brailey (sp?), she's a color analyst. She advocates for using your natural hair color to bring out your best look. However, if you want to dye your hair, she suggests hair cilors which best suit you (after you've been typed/ analyzed).
I had to have a hysterectomy when I was 25, so I'll never have my own child, but my God it's irritating to hear someone say Gigi had a "glow down" when she got healthy, then had a baby. She's been through so much and it's sooo clear she's happier now than she was when she was stick thin. I vividly remember that episode of RHOBH, my mother has told me since I was atleast 4(my first memory is my mother telling me this) that I'm going to get fat once I hit 20, because that's how the genes in my family work. So she always called me skinny, and would always tell me I'm going to blow up and all this crap. So when I saw that episode, I felt like I could relate with Gigi, and I also started thinking of her differently because of the way Yolanda treated her.
Honestly, she seems like she’s just living her best life. She’s enjoying being a mom, she’s enjoying having healthier priorities, she’s enjoying being an adult and having her own damn life and being HONEST about it all. Heaven forbid she doesn’t have a chiseled face - she never has, just like you said - and pregnancy and exhaustion will show in your skin and face! Sheesh, people have nothing better to do. I’m a licensed esthetician and I swear, people have SUCH warped views on what actual skin looks like.

i hate how people compare her as an adult to her teen self and say it's a glow down. as if woman peek as teenagers? should look like teenegars? sexualize and idolize teenager bodies. sometimes even i myself thought about how much skinnier or prettier i was in high school and then realize i was a child, i can just imagine how gigi feels after hearing these things.. so sad
People should be admiring Gigi for not going under the surgery to reduce her face fat. Because reducing face fat for sharpened looking jaw line or having done Buccal fat removal surgery, can actually change the natural beautiful features. And she didn't get any of that done which means she is not insecure of her looks. She confident and secure about herself and actually values her god gifted natural features.
She literally just had a baby when her face was like that, she was busy being a mom and keeping another small life alive. You’re allowed to look puffy after childbirth.
I gotta say, she definitely didn't have a glow down, she just grew up and realized what's important. To me that's a glow up that few can see or understand, she's free to think for herself, be herself, eat whatever and whenever the fuck she wants, but I'll bet that eating regularly and healthier once becoming pregnant was a non issue. I really don't follow fashion and trends, but this girl is beautiful and glows from the inside out. ♥ in my opinion she's the loveliest of the 2 Hadid sisters, and her mother... one of the ugliest women I've ever seen...she probably ate gigis birthday cake in private, and puked it all up the same way. These people have no soul. Bless you gigi ❤ you glow girl
You can never win with people on social medias, they shame you for being artifical ( plastic surgeries, make up..) and they shame you if you decide to stay natural and show your flaws. They shame you for being too skinny, or for being too chubby...Moral of the story : just be yourself cause people are gonna hate anyway.
She's growing up she can't be 22 or 23 forever and she's a mom it's not nice at all to put her down and then also say that all celebrities have surgeries and promote unrealistic standards when we put that pressure on them. She's just a normal human and that's what I like to see a human
It's not a "glow down", it's just being human in a real life, being tired and not wearing makeup and not being in a photoshopped picture or styled up in a run way show. She is a human woman, those things happen 🤦♀
plus, we all have "glow downs" from time to time. it's called going through tough times. at those times we need support, not a kick in the teeth with a label.
People never seem to notice when men 'glow down'. Take Harry Styles for example, he's aged like 10 years in the last couple years and looks haggered. Yet everybody still says he's super attractive. Men can go grey and age fast and be called sexier for it. And they never have to carry or birth humans. Societies double standards with appearance are crazy
You are so adorable. FWIW, Gigi's place -- which I think is actually her mom's house -- is just down the road from me. We definitely call it a "farm" around here, though to hear you refer to it as a "ranch" was pretty cute.
Always detested by face, cause I'm skinny and it is "chubby", but seeing gigi so confident with herself in every moment helped me a lot! She is simply great!
a glow down? people are so nasty... i've experienced this ... i would "be known" by certain male friends who only saw me with makeup, and long hair.. and the SECOND they saw me, with shorter hair, no makeup, a little tired, and honestly.. just ME being me... i got comments about how tired i looked, one guy even went as far to say something i can't fully remember exactly now, but the point was that he was disappointed in seeing me like that and had looked forward to seeing me how i usually looked and very obviously hinted he thought i looked bad. MY MALE "FRIEND" SAID THAT TO ME --- *FOR NOT WEARING MAKEUP* !!!! 😭 it's TRULY as if people think women owe them beauty. you don't owe anyone beauty. i think gigi looked GREAT and i am so proud of her for being herself,
I would be very interested in hearing you talk about aging / older women …I sometimes feel women become invisible with age so would love to see them represented here !
I went through the same phase when I had my son. And I only just started wearing makeup regularly again 4 years later! She’s stunning. It shows she’s not as insecure as other celebrities to be comfortable showing herself not at her best physically looking time in your life (which is right after giving a baby for most of us 😅). She’s stunning. With or without makeup. With or without weight on.
"She let herself go" Or did she let her life, as well as herself, change? We are, in fact, meant to grow and evolve, during which we outgrow the past versions of ourselves. That's life and if you ask me, that's also the beauty of it all to the core. Nothing is permanent, making every moment oh so precious and remarkable. Would be a shame to let it all slide through our fingers just cause our face might get slightly more puffy.
If I’m completely honest, Gigi Hadid is one of if not the most physically beautiful woman I have ever seen and she seems so genuine and humble. I have no idea how anyone could possibly show her hate. Like even in her “unflattering” pap pictures, she’s still just a cutie and I love how she looks so normal. If she wasn’t famous then she could walk past you on the street and you wouldn’t think twice and it’s so refreshing. To me she is female physical perfection and I don’t get how anyone can think otherwise.
Why are some people so trash to always bash these beautiful people. Sorry, but people really are too used to seeing filters, make-up and bodies gone under the knife and they just don't know what a natural body is or means.. Keep shining Gigi
This video is so healing for me. I have a disease which made me lose so much weight, and then the meds made my face REALLY puffy and round. It was, and it still is, a little new to me, I've beaten myself up because I don't exactly look how I did before. To see an actual supermodel go through that, it's really helpful. Plus the way you talked about it, it's so beautiful and kind.
You know i really do hope that Gigi watches this video. You have shown nothing but love and admiration towards her ❤️ i agree with you in everything, it's so sad that people shame young woman and mother for what she looks like naturally. All those people are delusional, to say the least. And the scene with cake...my god yolanda, what kind of person are you?!?!
I'm also so confused by how many people say being in your mid to late 20s is aging 🥴 I honestly have to assume they are teenagers/in their 20s themselves.
Thank you for saying this. Girls, we do not “owe it to the world” to be externally beautiful. It’s not our job. What is our job is to lovingly care for our bodies, minds, hearts and souls.
considering the ways we see her own mother pressuring her; I can imagine Gigi wanting to set a better example, and be a better mother to her own daughter.
She gets bullied for coming in front of camera with her natural face and her sister gets bullied for not being natural. It is truly not possible to make people happy.
Perfect analysis! 👏👏
Us folks who avoid the camera and social media/Instagram world stay pretty darn happy!
Duh welcome to the real world. Why does it take so long for so many people to realise that😂
AMENNNN
For crying out loud, these people are rich because we look at them! They can deal.
Gigi helped her ex bf zayn with his eating disorder despite the fact that she never was allowed to have full meal by her Yolanda mother. This thing will forever make me like her as a person.
@Unsa Do you mean Gigis mom or actually Gigi here?
@Unsa in this case please stay away from people like them and know that you are enough for yourself. You need to be in a healthy environment not a toxic one. A flower will only bloom when the environment cooperates.
So sad that ED’s are now spreading to more people. If Zayn feels comfortable, I hope he shares his story because many men also struggles now.
Bullshit
Okay but we are not all on vogue covers!!!!
But being real and looking real didn’t get her the platform she has today.
wtf, she is gorgeous and still looks great. her "chubby face" is what made her famous. she's always had very rounded facial features and the only reason her younger sister doesn't have it is through copious amounts of radical surgery. her skin is glowing, she's a beautiful momma. people should mind their damn business.
Yess Gigi makes me less insecure of my round face shape
I became a fan of hers because of her chubby, round, youthful face that she still has to this day!
Yeah, but the aging skin and tired look is not what got her fame…
God forbid we let women age lol wtf
I personally think it’s fkn awesome that gigi has gained a little weight and is letting herself age gracefully instead of turning herself into a cyborg, uncanny-valley, botoxed freak. especially when we are having a heroin-chic revival and her sister is getting so scarily thin. Bella looks SICK. It just says a lot about how warped our brains are by the media we consume, that people could even look at gigi and think glow down…
I always though she was the younger one because of the rounded features

In the world of instagram filters, high coverage foundations and botox treatments, it's so refreshing to see celebrities go on camera not looking like they're on a red carpet, while being in their bathroom. Gigi is absolutely stunning and I hope all the nasty comments won't get to her
Its so sad how being natural is seen as a glow down, like wth
actually the fact that she looks soo normal is the reason why I likeher way more than her sister....Gigi feels soo much more relatable and I hopethat she is confident enough anddoesnt listen to people who say this ugly s*it to her
She's as pretty as the girl in the street who doesn't have super rich parents, money for treatments, filters airbrushing and professional make up artists at hand.

I thought Rihanna had a nose job.
@@foxyroxytm I would look up some info but I don't think she has... probably just contouring
Rihanna has had a boob job though... I remember when I was younger and it happened because she had virtually nothing in her early career. So not completely natural, also I’ve questioned if that’s her real eye colour because younger pics of her she had darker eyes but it could just be the lighting

Love how you said "she doesn't owe anyone pretty". When I was 15 with a relatively clear complexion as a teenager, my older sister said "why don't you sort your face out, because we have to look at it". Absolutely evil.
I'm glad to hear you've done a lot of healing and hope things are going well for you and your little one now
As a new Mother of a 5 month old baby, she looked pretty damn good to me. I sure didnt look like that after 5 months..🤧😂
It's this fat that represents a youthful look.
as someone with a chubby face thank you for this
@@ElleBellsChannel My friend with self-described chipmunk cheeks that she hated still gets carded at 50! They asked her if she was old enough to sit in the exit row on the plane. (She's also 5' tall so that is probably part of it.) But she looks great!
@@08pixiedust she is so lucky!!
It's the Western beauty standards that say a chiseled jawline is desired . In Eastern beauty standards, a cute chubby face is often very desirable .
god i swear this eyebrows bleach trend is the WORST.
The next trend always has to be the opposite 🥲
Agreed, I absolutely despise it
It looks awful!!!!
100% agreed! It's just interesting herd mentality, when it comes to awful or ugly beauty trends lol
Noo ur just boring
People are soo used to see fake beauty on net that when they see real beauties faces it's not enough
The modeling industry prefers slimmer models simply because that means they'll be able to squeeze into the "sample size" clothes. Sample size clothes are essentially garments made as miniscule as possible so as to conserve material cost. Pretty messed up but ey gotta account for profitability i guess ://
that's what they say - i suspect it's just an excuse. all the top brands have more than enough money for some more inches of material.
Really think about what you just said
they prefer slim models because they like models to be like hangers, they literally dehumanize people so much the thinner you are the better in their eyes so that the clothes just hang off of you like said hanger, it’s the look they strive for on the runway and it’s disturbingly sad
@@ekaterinab6064 no, it’s called lowering ur costs to make more profit
@@ekaterinab6064 to be honest there probably isn't any hidden reason, they really do want to save the cost of making those garments, even tho they already have huge amounts of money. People are greedy and the more you have, the more you want. It's nor really about models, it's about garments
My god, the scene with the birthday cake is extremely sad!
I remember seeing it when that episode came out…made me so freaking mad that her mom would do that to her and so publicly. It was disgusting!
Why even have a massive cake if the birthday girl isn't allowed more than a tiny piece?!
Yes.🥵
I think it's incredibly sad that she couldn't even eat a bloody piece of her own birthday cake without her mother shaming/lecturing her about it. That kind of attitude & behavior contributes to eating disorders, why would you do that to your child?
She is a mother and I love the fact that she is not looking perfect like other celebrities who have a glam squad. She's being real and I love it!!
“We don’t all have to have the exact same features” truest thing ever said 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
To me, Gigi’s chubby face is sooo very nourishing and cute, it’s so angelic, just because she doesn’t have sharp features like other women, doesn’t mean she is not beautiful or fat, if we care about society’s standards of beauty, we will never live in peace, and nobody is ever going to like you no matter how much effort you put in.
I think it's so sad that when someone starts to look like a normal person, people cannot stand it and think that they're ugly. I could NEVER be famous.
ı love you messages...
wow you are keeping a smooth uploading streak. I really appreciate your videos, they leave me both calm, to know that it's all fake, but also sad, because of the lengths that we have come as women interacting with the cultural imposition to perform femininity (and all that comes along with it), and how it crushes us to extents that we often naturalize
I enjoyed reading this.
The people saying Gigi had a glow down as a new mom are probably the same ones telling women they look tired when they skip mascara for the day
Good for Gigi! She's clearly in love with her role as mommy, and new moms are freakin' gorgeous!
Love is like the ocean...
Besties love...
I think her platinum blonde hair made her look older than before with her honey dirty blonde hair that made her youthful
I wish people would actually watch the video before commenting!
Great video Steph 🌸💕!
The craziest part is that Gigi didn’t even look like an “average” girl… post pregnancy, no makeup, and she’s still soooo pretty
So when I saw that episode, I felt like I could relate with Gigi, and I also started thinking of her differently because of the way Yolanda treated her.
ı like your quote a lot.
She is absolutely beautiful, she is just a natural woman without all those surgery like her sister. I love this!
I like your job so much.
Okay but no need to put her sister down either.
@@aamnahere6250 I don't put her down. It's just the truth, that Bella had to much plastic surgery and doesn't look like a normal person. But it's ok if she like it.
@@cindyalice2197 you literally did put her down tho
@@cindyalice2197her mam forced her to get her nose done coz she bullied her for it now that bellas older she regrets it im pretty sure she was only 14
People are losing touch with natural aging and real life. Leave women ALONE
Her downfall began when she dated Zayn Malik!? How exactly? When was even a downfall?? There is never was a downfall!
Exactly. what the...
So proud of Gigi, she’s extremely gorgeous the way she is now. She’s more natural than other celebs out there.
You have beautiful eyes.
Gigi always comes off as such sweetheart. She’s so beautiful and cute. It’s a bee season of her life. When she’s ready to crush these necks: she’ll effortlessly be back. She’s that girl. Go Gigi!
i hate how people compare her as an adult to her teen self and say it's a glow down. as if woman peek as teenagers? should look like teenegars? sexualize and idolize teenager bodies. sometimes even i myself thought about how much skinnier or prettier i was in high school and then realize i was a child, i can just imagine how gigi feels after hearing these things.. so sad
ı love your smile.
I would cryyy if she got the buccal removal on that beautiful face of hers
She literally just had a baby when her face was like that, she was busy being a mom and keeping another small life alive. You’re allowed to look puffy after childbirth.
Agreed. She hasn't had a "glow down" 🙄.
I can't imagine my mom ever telling me not to eat a piece of cake or body shaming me.
It's not a "glow down", it's just being human in a real life, being tired and not wearing makeup and not being in a photoshopped picture or styled up in a run way show. She is a human woman, those things happen 🤦♀
Thank you for giving the internet a reality check. Gigi is gorgeous. Period.
I like your video very much.
Honestly the people who say Gigi (or any other person fot that matter) have had a 'glow down' need to get their eyes fixed asap.
plus, we all have "glow downs" from time to time. it's called going through tough times. at those times we need support, not a kick in the teeth with a label.
I love your official video.
She is simply great!
i’m not small anymore, but when i was i also still had my round face, i know how it feels. Keep in mind it’ll make you look younger for a longer time!

We love video marketing...
a glow down? people are so nasty...
i've experienced this ... i would "be known" by certain male friends who only saw me with makeup, and long hair.. and the SECOND they saw me, with shorter hair, no makeup, a little tired, and honestly.. just ME being me... i got comments about how tired i looked, one guy even went as far to say something i can't fully remember exactly now, but the point was that he was disappointed in seeing me like that and had looked forward to seeing me how i usually looked and very obviously hinted he thought i looked bad. MY MALE "FRIEND" SAID THAT TO ME --- *FOR NOT WEARING MAKEUP* !!!! 😭
it's TRULY as if people think women owe them beauty. you don't owe anyone beauty.
i think gigi looked GREAT and i am so proud of her for being herself,
I would be very interested in hearing you talk about aging / older women …I sometimes feel women become invisible with age so would love to see them represented here !
Gigi looks like the way she looked when she was younger. She’s gifted with an eternal young face.
Yes ! ı love your work.
To me she is female physical perfection and I don’t get how anyone can think otherwise.
ı love your partners...
I keep forgetting that Gigi is the mother of Zayn's baby.
She looks quite cute imo and she seems to be living her best life.
I love your comments...
Its a miracle that women don't die from pregnacy, and then people have the audacity to complain that women aren't that pretty anymore🙄
The only way to love...
How to say, ı love you.
Gigi’s no-makeup “glow down” would be me glammed up lol People are absolutely ridiculous.
I love your company.
Why is everyone saying aging?? Gigi got her 'glow down' in just one year at 26 or 27 which is not old omg
I'm also so confused by how many people say being in your mid to late 20s is aging 🥴 I honestly have to assume they are teenagers/in their 20s themselves.
YOU LOOK SO GOOD WITH BROWN HAIRRRR
Thank you for saying this. Girls, we do not “owe it to the world” to be externally beautiful. It’s not our job. What is our job is to lovingly care for our bodies, minds, hearts and souls.
I like your life...
considering the ways we see her own mother pressuring her; I can imagine Gigi wanting to set a better example, and be a better mother to her own daughter.
Your work is going to fill...
