When I hear this remix, I always imagine it playing for a boss made out of slime. I feel like the beats highlight that icky feeling you get when the boss starts dripping from the walls and ceiling to attack the party.

@@paulnovacek3715 Damn, I was worried that was the case. This is the second time an Earthbound video I recall seeing a while back gets purged from UA-cam.
(in my opinion,) this music is really surreal and I don’t really know how to think of it, it kind of disturbs me and sends chills downmy spine, it feels otherworldly, like you’ve just entered a corrupted/area affected by something that you shouldn’t be in. It also gives me slight Tanetane Island (with the weird psycho mushrooms) vibes

I always felt the same way about the track, and much of the original music of the game. It stirs strange feelings inside of your soul.
It's a great remix, and technically superior to the original. But the original really just captured a special mood to it, honestly, it might just be me, but it was a feeling I've never gotten from any other music. It almost like this melancholy eeriness, and the 4 long notes that go --_--_ really just felt like they were saying "What are you doing kid, you can't ever defeat this, and if you do, Giygas will crush you" then continues to meddle with my emotions. Love the track, one of the best.
