Watching all ZX14R build vids in correct order...thanks for sharing and not being a YT shouter - this makes footage so much more enjoyable to follow ! Great attention to detail..You are thorough methodical and don't rush things :)
I really admire people like you, who have the knowledge and ingenuity to not only be able to disassemble, but also figure out how to reassemble everything back in the proper order. I do not possess the skills or necessary patience for this.
I had my doubts about whether this was a worthwhile project but after watching this I think we all saw a little bit of ourselves. That desire to bring a seemingly dead machine back from the brink can become an obsession. Good luck from Australia friend. Watching on with interest.
I would remove the 1400 engine and fit it into the frame of a ZX-10R. That would be a nice project. The reconstruction of the ZZR 1400 is also an interesting task. I really like the calm nature of the video. Not this hysterical chatter from the other Motovlogers. Thumbs up and keep it up! Greetings from Germany.
Ja, finde ich auch. Allerdings würde ich das Motorrad vorher komplett zerlegen, reinigen und den Motor überprüfen, Ventilspiel, Kompression. Dann von Grund auf neu aufbauen. 👍🏍
This video just reinforced my earlier belief that this bike should be used as a parts bike, and that you should go purchase a new 2020 ZX14R. It will be the last year of production and the bike will be a reminder of the good old days. The future is smaller motors that are supercharged and then finally electric bikes. Once the 14's are gone, people will realize how things are changing for the worse.
@@ryanparfet7374 Just because a bike looks clean it doesn't mean it hasn't been run hard or had clean oil kept in it. Sometimes owners neglect valve adjustments. I'm glad I bought my 14 new, and I wouldn't sell it for 8k either. Ride safe!
I bought a cbr600rr a couple days before he showed us this bike and I have pretty much replaced every but and bolt. The only thing it needs is the electrical circuit fixed because it was botched but it’ll go see an electrician soon I’m so excited to finally get it registered
I have 0 idea about motorcycle projects, or anything relating screwdrivers lol. I'm 16 and hopefully getting my license this month, but I've enjoyed this!
I do love these videos! It makes things a little less daunting when you are able to see where everything and anything goes as well as what should and shouldn't be done. Not only that but as always dude, you really know how to just keep a vid going like you are just chilling, having a conversation whilst working on it, instead of treating it like you are hosting a video. Amazing work as always and can't wait for the next one. Stay safe, keep well and see you on the next one! :)
My 08 CBR600RR came home in a few boxes. All those plastics are repairable with plastic welding, body filler and paint. I purchase a set of ebay fairings and I liked them, but they don't add any nylon fibers to their plastics so they are brittle and the tabs eventually break off. I ended up going back to my repaired fairings and they can take much more abuse. Also, I looked and there seems to be a decent amount of parts, especially fairings for your bike on ebay. You could get a bunch of mismatched colors and take them to a painter. I used urethane paint (two stage) without any flex additives and the fairings have held up great for about 3 years now.
Love watching and listening to your videos man ! Different from many others with your laid-back style and your deep, soft voice, very relaxing and interesting at the same time. Look forward to the next one ! ..... Regards from Sweden, the country without masks or other foolishness...
But it's not flexible. You know what I mean? It doesn't feel right, I don't know. It just doesn't feel right. I know I'm not making any measurable sense but it just doesn't click.
I would completely disassemble first, then clean and check. After that make a list and rebuild from frame on up.... Thank me later 👍🏍💪 Great project Safe rides
Another cool bike to rebuild. Gotta say, with your thought it was a stolen bike, and if so, usually guys run the crap out of them, i would be checking the engine out for any internal damage from like over revving, low on oil, etc., and do a compression check soon.
I really don’t envy you your job here. Whenever I look at the way Kawasakis are designed and put together, it jest reinforces why I would never ever want to work on one. I really wish you luck with this project bro, and I hope you don’t end up regretting taking it on. I know lots of guys like these things, so if you’re able to fix it for decent money, you should be able to sell it for a decent price.
When you snip the nonreversible zip ties, snip the loose end near the head. That way, you can reuse the zip tie. If you cut the tie on the part fixed to the head it becomes useless.
Yeah, I thought we were going to see a set of golf clubs and a cooler full of warm beers! But really HeroRR, I’m just sore you didn’t score a Blackbird. Maybe next series? This one’s gonna be good...🏍💨💨
The set screw is a small allen bolt. It is rusted and it just looks like a hole. But theat is what it is. (PB)Blaster and patients with the right size allen key will get it out.
Damn did I laugh the first time I took off the seat, on a old Honda CBR 900 1993, under the back seat you would fit easily a six pack, and on my ZX-14R I had a hard time just fitting sunglasses. 😂😂😂 évolution yeah 👍👍👍
I see so many bikes like this in my area. Bikes that have zip ties everywhere, stripped hardware, missing parts for no reason and cut wiring. I just don’t get it... some people just shouldn’t work on bikes. Thanks for bringing another bike back from the dead
Yep, that's really not a "crashed once in the parking lot" type of bike. I really hope you get lucky with the expensive components ! We don't know yet if the bike will run or switch gears, or if it will ride straight !
So a friend I’m talking to is offering me 4.5k for a cbr 600. It has 7k miles I’ve been thinking of riding, should I buy it???? That deal is a steal right? It’s orange in color which I’m not a fan of but I could live with it.
I kinda just got what was given to me. Good price on a good bike. Plus it is something different which I’m sure some appreciate. But i agree with you I’d like another iconic bike to work on!
HeroRR - I'd gladly give up a little performance in exchange for hydraulically adjustable valves. With it monocoque frame I hear it's a real pain to lift the cams in this thing. I'm sure you'll tell us all about it. 😂
Watch out everyone , Hero rr will be trading all of his bike except the cbr600rr that he has. For the brand new look honda cbr600rr with new tech 😉 ua-cam.com/video/6iVXXnU3v2M/v-deo.html
Wow that bike has been butchered. The ZZR 1400 is the apex predator of the motorcycle world. Why would somebody do this. What a shame. I trust theperson who did this suffers a life of misery.

Putting fairing bolts back in their place = big brain.
I really admire people like you, who have the knowledge and ingenuity to not only be able to disassemble, but also figure out how to reassemble everything back in the proper order.
I do not possess the skills or necessary patience for this.
You've set the precedent. Every video in this series now has to be exactly 14 minutes too.
I would give this a like but the counter is at 14 and i don't wanna be the one to ruin it!
I swear I didn't even mean to do that LOL
7:20 universal reaction when you know you just breath life into something. The feeling is priceless

I don't normally like bike build videos but I'm loving this one! It's well shot, narrated, and edited, and I love the ZX14R!!!
Oh I had a zzr1400... Absolutely amazing motorcycle. Thank you for giving this one a new life!
have had 3 zx-14’s, not a bad one in the mix, fantastic bikes
It's nice to see some love to this poor Zx14R. Waiting for the next video.
Good video. This motorcycle certainly has an immobilizer, without detecting a key with a chip will not activate the fuel pump.😅
If that’s the case, how did those darn thieves take it? I only ride old bikes so just curious.
Hi Hero RR. An admirer from India here. Good luck with your build. Hope you'll get your replacement parts soon.

That's stupid. He could get a nice used one for 8K.

Always nice to see honest work and care go into something misused/abused like this, and turn it into something great. :)
I have 0 idea about motorcycle projects, or anything relating screwdrivers lol. I'm 16 and hopefully getting my license this month, but I've enjoyed this!
Thanks! :)
Drill out the hole for the frame slider set screw...

It is very satisfying to bring a bike back from the brink of "parts bike realm. I have two that I ride and a third that is a long term project.
Love watching and listening to your videos man ! Different from many others with your laid-back style and your deep, soft voice, very relaxing and interesting at the same time. Look forward to the next one ! ..... Regards from Sweden, the country without masks or other foolishness...
I'm enjoying this because I have one the Same year, and I'm learning quite a bit about it. I sure do like mine.
But it's not flexible. You know what I mean? It doesn't feel right, I don't know. It just doesn't feel right.

Great project

Check under the ECU for a flash sticker or something. It's in the tail

Although it's not a motorcycle I am interested in at all ... I'll be here for the series 👍

This is so peaceful to watch. I love it. Keep up the good work hero.
Love your ‘Build Series’ great work mate. Keep it up.
Cheers from Portugal
The little rusted hole on the frame slider that's a hex screw used to keep the plastic puck in position

The USS Johnston - Why throw away something perfectly good? Waste not, want not.
this is a great series
Access to the "trunk" lol
Yeah, I thought we were going to see a set of golf clubs and a cooler full of warm beers! But really HeroRR, I’m just sore you didn’t score a Blackbird. Maybe next series? This one’s gonna be good...🏍💨💨
Plz upload fast I can't wait 😉 too much for your videos I like 🥰 your voice and videos ☺️ too
Hope the build turns out well
The set screw is a small allen bolt. It is rusted and it just looks like a hole. But theat is what it is. (PB)Blaster and patients with the right size allen key will get it out.
I just got one that I am also rebuilding...Melted in a fire.
If it's in neutral fuel pump should prime when you turn the key and switch is in run position
Maybe it's in gear?
Awesome project brotha!
Such an enjoyable content for motorcycle enthusiasts, thanks sir!

Good shit bro. She will be fun to ride.
I rode a busa the other day, it was great
That frame slider set screw looks like an allen key type of screw.
God damnit, you made me want a zx14r now!
This machine is magnificent
Amazing video bro God bless you
Please get a shop manual!
Try to use allen key for that missing screw ) Good luck )
Looking forward to this ........

"Hero RR" vs. "Frameslider"
Dude I’m not excited about it lmao
Cool deal. I have no patience so would just need to hear it run to then deal with the other issues.
You know how to unstress the frame/chassis from any stored energy during the wreck right? Just look up videos if not but def. do it.
Ahhhhhh snaaap, he goin make it go vroom🤭
its going really good eveything light up!
That bike is not bad at all rebuild what is all there seems like a week of work tops bet it takes u 20 episodes to finish its so easy
No way it will even take that. I’m shooting for ~10 episodes from start to finish.
You don't want to pop a rectifier on that take it out and charge separately great job did you get it at salvage auction
10:30 asmr
Love the content.
Hey, was wondering what all I have to do to change the oil pan on my 06 ninja ZX14
Motorcycle go vroom!
I am excited more then you love you from India 😘
it looks pretty trashed to me :/ but i think you can get it into shape!
Awesome videos bud👍🏻👍🏻🤓
What coolant would I use for the 2012 kawasaki ninja zx14r?
This is great
What year is the bike ? I have a 08 zx10r and I have a 08 zx14 . I love my zx14. It’s an animal. Super comfortable.
dont these bikes have immobiliser chips in the keys? do you need that to start the bike? like Honda H.I.S.S
Oh man I was waiting for this
Man I just got a messed up 14 too I need your help 😅 lol
Or what all do I have to take off in order to switch it out with a shorter pan?
Hello man, nice video. What do you do for a living?
Awesome!!
Very exciting 😀
How much did you pay for the Z....if,you don't mind me asking? Curious what a wrecked 2012 goes for.
Subbed
Curious as to what @heroRR does when not working on bikes! Anyone know?
It will be worth it the first time you pin it 😉
You will love this bike I did mine
Did you bought it from auction?
At 6:50 you can just plastic weld some pieces back on instead of dropping big money for a piece nobody will ever see.
HERORR A NEW CBR600RR GOT ANNOUNCED!!!!!!! CHECK IT OUT!!!
1:20 *WHAT ARE THOSE???*
My man, I'm not the only on with Pittsburgh tools....lol
Pittsburgh tools worth every penny
this series is already competing well with the 954 series, buts its going to take a miracle to get that ZX 14 to sound better than the 954 lol goodluck
How much did the bike cost you ?
Hey I have the same bike in show room condition with 10k for & 9600
Yep, that's really not a "crashed once in the parking lot" type of bike. I really hope you get lucky with the expensive components ! We don't know yet if the bike will run or switch gears, or if it will ride straight !

Seems like a fair price
Gotta admit I was hoping for something a bit more interesting. Can’t rebuild an iconic bike then come with a “meh it’s fast bike”. Good luck though!
I kinda just got what was given to me. Good price on a good bike. Plus it is something different which I’m sure some appreciate. But i agree with you I’d like another iconic bike to work on!
15,700 miles. Just in time for a valve adjustment?
:(
HeroRR - I'd gladly give up a little performance in exchange for hydraulically adjustable valves. With it monocoque frame I hear it's a real pain to lift the cams in this thing.
I'm sure you'll tell us all about it. 😂
If you need advice on how or assistance on repairs hmu master Kawasaki motorcycle technian and activate zx14r rider and owner
how much did you get it for?
2800
Having a manual would have made removing the fairings much easier
Buy Turbo kit from BigCcRacing.
I'll do it if I get enough Patreon support lol. but that kit is pretty expensive.
Hello
Watch out everyone , Hero rr will be trading all of his bike except the cbr600rr that he has. For the brand new look honda cbr600rr with new tech 😉 ua-cam.com/video/6iVXXnU3v2M/v-deo.html
