good to see support for honda like this. when most people think of japan, they think of bad ass rwd cars drifting or high powered R34s or FDs on the freeways, not hondas. it seems like modded hondas are built better out of japan because they have a bigger and better following out of japan. i saw a video where all these guys from japan were amazed to see a K20 swap in an eg hatch because theyre still swapping B series out there. props to top fuel! i remember their mid engine del sol from yrs ago!
I would love to know what transmission and differential set up this car is using. You can see from the video and pictures it is not stock. I believe this old car had a sequential HKS transmission but I have no idea what differential they mated it to?
I wish I still had one of the two 1992 Acura Integra GSRs. I would ship the full engine/transmission or whole car over there for some tuning work. I would have the original 1.7 L rebuilt but up it to a 1.8 L. I think it would be awesome to have a fresh rebuilt B17A1 with all kinds of nice internal/external parts but was actually a 1.8 L. It would have to stay all motor just like it was meant to be. I wouldn't mind them coming up with an exhaust design. I would have the YS1 transmission rebuilt to minimize the potential for future gear grinding. That cursed 3rd gear in B series transmissions! I would add a LSD for better traction during 1st and 2nd gear pulls and for the corners. Can't be exiting a corner on the throttle spinning one wheel. I would ask to run a Top Fuel windshield banner. Once it was finished, I would ship it back and send it to LHT to have them tune it since they pull out good power while keeping it reliable. I still have the Hasport mounts sitting on the shelf in the garage. I had bought them as soon as they were released for the 1992-1993 GSR. It was mind blowing how the car launched and handled when I would get on the power after switching from stock mounts. It had a nice snap to it when getting on the throttle. It allowed just a little movement so it wouldn't damage any of the frame in the engine bay. Stock axles weren't an option at that point.
i understand where your coming from... but thats why you get boost by gear!! your not turning in a corner at redline... lol its all about how you tune it and how you drive it... if its really built right that is!!
if you say "drag car is fast, but cant go around the corner" to an american, he would just say "but my car is a 10 sec car, i am faster. you say that to a japanese, he turns himself into one of the best tuning house in japan for track car.
The thing with NASCAR is that you run the cars with no modern technology, no TCS, no power brakes, power steering or launch controls, there is no computers driving your car for you. It's a man and his N/A carburated V8 monster roaring around the track in 300+ km/h!
Albin Wahlberg it’s a guy , holding his foot on the gas and turning one direction for 2 hours lol no skill in nascar , also their is plenty of technology in nascars you dumbass lol
The same way how a stock F20C making 700HP has plus and minuses. It can be done, but it's not necessarily as good as built engines when it gets out to the track... You have to understand how a car needs to be balanced for the driver to bring out the best in it. Even with the best pro drivers, a 1000HP 4WD would be easier to control than a 1000HP FR, and the chances of putting out better lap times are somewhat better with a car you can control better than a car you'd be wrestling to control...
you have to understand that everything that has a plus has a minus!! if that makes sense... as much as awd helps.. it hurts somewhere too!! for example everyone thought awd would own the drag world!! but how come rwd owns awd on the straight?? because of that extra weight!!
But what about Nascar??? You know those shit that goes around in circle for hour, some really technical stuff right there, driving in a circle...., Fuck weight distribution, suspension, brake, inertia, down shift up shift, engine control
WTF IS THAT WELDING AT 4:28 - THAT IS A DISGRACE - I JUST LISTENED TO THAT GUY SPOUTING YEARS OF RACING EXPERIENCE BLAH BLAH BLAH , AND THAT POPS BY ON THE SCREEN ... FIND THE PERPETRATOUR AND HAVE HIM HARI KARI ....
the car is bad ass!! but if i had the time money and resources that top fuel has combined with my knowledge that car would have been a 1000 wheel horsepower fuck 700whp... the japanese and all asian communities are just too conservative! hell there is a guy with a bone stock f20c engine making 700 whp... and here this one is built!! and only makes the same power.... what a waste!! no wonder they didnt win!
I love the tread design of the Neova radials
Beautiful
Thanks to this video i support Top fuel. I like that they run the car with original frame and engine.

i love topfuel zero1000 owes!! hope to visit the topfuel workshop in japan one day !
Amazing.
Great words from a great tunner.
Congrats. The car came in 5th fastest overall at the event which is excellent considering the other faster cars were a lot more radical.
Nice chat i like that man.
Respect.

power to weight ratio is what its about

考えが好き。エンジン載せ替えの時点で、ハイさよならっておもっちゃう。なんでもアリじゃんと。
The S2000 doesn't have the luxury of a 4WD unlike the Evos in WTAC, you can't turn the car with too much power...
this guy is the slowest talker ever...
Nascar = very very boring!!!!! Including theyr budlight lmao
