- Yes, my initial review of the Fitbit Sense was HORRIBLE. And at the time, they released a product with buggy software and less features. However now, more features are free and the watch isn't all that bad. I still would choose the Fitbit Charge 5 at the end of the day however.

Hey, I seen in one of your videos that you was on a rowing machine. How does it work during that type of exercise? Also which one would you recommend the Sense or Charge 5

Rowing is great for a full body workout! It depends on what you like. The charge 5 is great to leave on and monitor your health and sleep with great battery life

I had to get one because of the Ionic recall. I hate the rounded corners on the Sense. I wish it was more angled like the Ionic.

Have you noticed any changes in heart rate monitoring accuracy? In older reviews it tended to lack behind when the HR increases but perhaps the algorithm has improved?
I think it’s comparable to my Apple Watch.

You can answer to texts etc. You just have to use the microphone button and talk to it. Press it once you're done && it'll show you your message and let you send it...

My girlfriend got a Charge 5 for xmas and I wanted one and had been looking. Between all the reviews I've seen, and especially this one, I think the Charge 5 might be for me and not the Sense, considering I'm far more into the fitness aspect. Thank you for the reviews!

I really don't think the two are comparable. One is a Smartwatch and one is a Fitness Tracker. It's like saying you are getting a moped instead of a sedan because you care more about fuel efficiency. If your interested in one, the other was never really targeted at you to begin with.
The premium stuff drives me nuts, considering the bloody thing is mearly 500 dollars in Canada, unless it's on sale.

This will be my first Fit watch, I don't care about any media controls, Just anything health related I also saw Fitbit Versa 3 would that be a better choice?
Hmm yes probably or the charge 5 because of its battery life and ecg feature
id recommend using different music, perfecting your audio quality, having the music being used be less instrument heavy for sections where its played under your voice, and less of a tv presenter vibe keep it more relaxed

Any advantage of charge 5 over sense ? I am trying to choose between the two as both are on sale
The charge 5 is good to just leave on and monitor sleep and tracking and still get notifications. The sense is good if you want to take calls and want more smart watch features. Personally I would get the charge 5
From what I've read/watched Charge 5 has an issue where if you wear it too tight, it blocks GPS signal, if you don't wear it tight enough, HR data is inaccurate because it can't get a solid reading. So essentially you have to choose between GPS or HR sensor performance (see DC Rainmaker's review for more detail)
Whenever I wear it too tight it gives my skin a reaction. When it’s loose it works really well
Sense has find my phone app. The charge 5 doesn't.
Just order it and waiting for it to arrive. I has the fitbit hr, loved it. I got the Samsung Galaxy Watch to replace it when I started working in the medical field. I love my samsung but definitely needed an upgrade. Decided on the Fitbit Sense and now I'm questioning it haha
I've just got my Fitbit Sense - upgraded from the Versa 2. I love it.
Do you have any other better smart watch recommendations? I like the sense but definitely feel like it's a bit lackluster compared to what I've seen of other watches.
Like the watch literally can't change music I literally have downloaded on my phone.
Thankfully I can return it, but I'm not sure what to replace it with.

I have a Fitbit Sense and the face came off in August 2021, 10 months later the replacement did the same thing. I never get it wet, I do sleep with it on for sleep tracking and such. Fitbit said they will give me 35% off on a third watch, will not replace it. I have owned many watches from this company but I will never own another one again!! Starting my search for a new fitness tracker!
I have had the same thing happened. Mine was a year and a half old so the warranty didn't cover the replacement. They offered 35% discount. Why would someone go spend more on replacement if the quality issue is not handled well?

We have a lot of choices, why wouldn’t a company, in this day and age of social media, not stand behind their product due to a known issue. No way, never again is Fitbit getting another dime from me! I posted this on every UA-cam comparison I could locate. This is the only social media platform I am on or I would have posted on others. I had to warn future buyers of this companies stance, I felt it was my duty. I am not one to tarnish a company’s brand but this was definitely warranted. Thank you for letting others know you had the same issue! Appreciate you!
By the way, I believe that this was my 4th upgraded watch that I bought from them in the last 15 years.
I'm finding my Fitbit 3 is a waste of money. It counts steps while I'm charging it, while I'm typing, driving, or just watching television. I find free sports apps to be more accurate, but I hate having to run & hike with a phone in my hand.

Don't waste your money. After spending $400+ on a watch, you don't expect the screen to come off within less than two years. Since it's no longer under warranty, a 35% duscount is all that is offered. Why would I spend more money if a company is not standing behind the quality of a product. This was my third Fitbit device. Very disappointing the way this manufacturing defect is handled.
Is there any way to listen to mp3s off line without a premium membership to UA-cam?

I returned mine after 6 months. It developed the slow charge warning so I took the opportunity to get my money back and get a Fossil Gen 6.
I miss the Sense though, so much potential, so many bugs and unfinished features.
Might wait for a Sense 2 or whatever the Fitbit Wear OS watch will be before going back in though
Do you like the Gen 6 over the sense? I'm on the fence about both since I have an I phone I'm just worried about the update not working with ios whenever it does come out but I like the look of the gen 6.

Hey my mom and I both have a sense but I have an iPhone and she has an android. Our experience has been the same, but she has the ability to answer texts on her phone but I don’t would anyone happen to know about this?
iPhones don’t allow responding to texts!!
Fitbit charge 5 has a horrible sense of step tracking. Very inaccurate even randomly tracks when sleeping and driving

It’s so the opposite of what you were complaining about before in the last video… it’s like your being paid to take back your word. You weren’t happy about it making you spend money on the premium and now your supporting it and even having to use your index finger to turn it on and now you’re saying it’s better that way? Currently the Fitbit Sense comes with 6 months Fitbit Premium and Calm subscription. Not a bad deal at all!

Can you send a text to reply to a message? How is the vibration? Strong/weak?
Is step count accurate? I tried versa 1 and it would count bumps on the road and wheel turning while driving and that is why i returned the 1st generation versa.
I say it’s accurate. Strong enough to know it’s there. Androids can respond but iPhones can only view! Fitbits have good return policies so you can always try it out

What a piece of garbage this Fitbit Sense is! It died after 15 months of use. The wrist band broke and it will no longer charge. NEVER AGAIN!

You can respond to them when to an Android phone. Not iPhone though I believe
@@angusgibbins4954 yeah, he was wrong...I bought the watch, and you can indeed respond to text (at least on android phones), you can use a mic, emoji, or quick reply...there is no keyboard option, but using the mic to voice respond works just fine

I am getting this for my fiance who works out 3-6 days a week work time dependent... and don't want to make a purchase for saving 50 bucks that was a mistake in the long run. also the sense 2 does not currently have google call and goole maps.. ugh

this warning says that the sense 1 and versa 3 dont record elevated heart rates correctly. essentially the claim is that the sense 1 begins an error, once ur heart rate goes above 155 it begins to LOWER the number on the recorder down to 110 -120 vs going up to 185.. this would be a huge problem..
is that true?

That’s tough. They don’t even have google pay so I’m not sure about that. With the sense it was plus minus 5 with Apple Watch, versa 4 is good choice if you don’t like the fancy sense stuff
