Great event, glad I did it. I’d say good luck to anyone who undertakes one, but luck isn’t a factor. Keeping control of the doubt that exists in everyone and not letting the voice that says “I can’t” overtake the voice that says “I will” is usually the hardest part for people, and it happened here many times. Have fun out there and see you guys on the trails!

First ever Spartan hurricane heat tomorrow can't wait 😊 hopefully first step on the way to achieving my dream of agoge in Namibia inspired by the man's story and believe that with an unbreakable body n unshakable mind and a spirit forged in steel you can achieve anything my days as a young kid battling through the self made difficulties in line which resulted in me being in a shop doorway made me who I am today put everything into me training n Spartan is made for me with the strength training combined with distance running am hoping to be world champion one day n once weve all defeated the virus watch out for me on the podium in Greece next year 💪🏃aroo
7-13 year old boys went through the agoge. They killed Helots, and survived by any means. Not accurate. Not saying what you did was tough but this isnt the AGOGE!

Spartan males were enrolled in the Agoge at age 7.
yes they did it from the age of 7-13 and then from 13-18 they learned to fight as a military unit in a Phalanx
