Not a steel door or frame - title says "steel door", shows install on wooden door and frame. Steel doors do not have recesses for bolt plates. Can't chisel out edge of steel door.
Hey john, Thanks for watching, you are right this is a residential steel wrapped door. The comercial steel doors that I have installed should be ordered to allow for a dead bolt. @@davidamendola4235does that worked ? Similar problem with metal sheet on door with existing hole need to increase the size.

Deadbolts on this kind of setup is cake . I too thought you had a video on a hollow steel door and steel frame……
