  • Adams Graphene Tire Dressing Review and Demo. I am always looking for the best tire dressing or top tire shine depending on where you are from. Adam's graphene tire dressing is a graphene infused tire dressing. It claims to have ceramic resins that will make it pretty durable. Adams claims 3 weeks durability with the tire dressing. I will detail the tire, apply the Adams graphene tire dressing and give you my thoughts. If you are into cars, auto detailing, garage builds and all things surrounding these topics then you are in the right place. Consider subscribing to see my future content.
    COST AT THE TIME OF THE FILMING: $16.99
    APPLICATION PROCESS: Medium density and spreads easily on the tire filling in logos and texture with little to no problem. Smells nice as well
    APPLICATION TIME: Apply 1-2 coats as needed and after 15 minutes knock down shine and excess product with a dedicated microfiber towel.
    LOOK: Great look with adequate shine as well as a great matte finish if knocked down with a micro fiber. Good consistent look with a dark black appearance.
    DURABILITY: First signs of good durability. Will come back after 10 days with an update. As with any tire shine I do not necessarily want super long durability that is hard to remove at the next wash cycle.
    RECOMMENDATION: Adam's Graphene Tire Dressing is a great choice for your car. As with most Adams polishes products this is a high quality tire dressing and is sold at a fair price.

    I got a bottle of this in a mystery bucket. I liked it so much I have since bought two more bottles during various BOGO sales.
    I used to not overthink my tire dressing and would just use VRP...and still do...but I really like this product offering from Adam's.
    Jeremy, you should let your viewers know that Adam's is always discounting their products. Typical discounts range from 15%to25% off. Sometimes they will do a BOGO on 16oz products. Makes that pricey Mega Foam a little easier to justify.

    Man your videos are always fun to watch. Adam's normal Tire Dressing is pretty good too. Smells like bananas and it lasts me about 3 to 4 weeks out here in California. It's SiO2 based so it has some decent water resisting behavior. But man it takes forever to fully dry it seems like.

    Hey! I have another product for you to throw into testing! OPTIMUM OPTI-BOND TIRE GEL, not to be confused with their tire coating. It's water based, not too shiny, and it last a decent amount of time (nothing crazy). I'd recommend getting the 8oz bottle for testing, I recieved the 32oz as a gift and it lasts forever! I'd love to see it on the channel, I don't think it gets the love it deserved online!

    Hey Jeremy, have you tried microfiber applicators on the tires? If so, why do you prefer foam? I mean, with the microfiber ones you'd be able to use for hand wax and polish, too. Rag Company sells some black ones I'm looking at.

      I have not used them. They probably work well. I use the foam because they are shaped in a way that makes it really easy for me to apply product. They wash clean easy too. Last a long time. I just have had no reason to use anything else. I should try some.

    My favorite! Smells awesome & looks great whether knocked down or not. I can get 2 weeks minimum durability in CA easy. Durability is overrated though. If you wash your car every week or two and reapply like me who cares about durability? It's all about the finish and if it smells great that adds to the garage therapy effect. 👃🏻👍🏻

    I have those same small hex/wave sponge applicators for my dressing and they work great! I have low-profile tires too and those work perfectly. I just stripped a tire "coating" type of dressing off my tires yesterday and today (took two days). I was NOT impressed with the tire coatings that say they last 6 months. Don't go down that road. They peel, crack, and don't look good after a while. And I did the prep exactly as stated, even down to using mineral spirits to completely strip the rubber down to nothing. I am going back to a high quality conventional dressing, they look and work much better in my opinion. My current one is Ultima Trim and Tire and it is a really good one. I am just like you and prefer the OEM matte appearance on my tires and trim. Just a dark, rich, matte or satin, uniform appearance is perfect for me. I don't want no Krispy Kreme Donut Glaze on my tire and trim! (I do want the Krispy Kreme donut for myself however! LOL).

    • @HawaiiDetailing
      @HawaiiDetailing  2 роки тому +1

      Hahaha. Thanks for sharing Joe. I agree. I have been saying this for a long time that durability comes at a cost. Most people only care about how long it lasts and don't like to hear me say this. I say it anyway Hahahaha. I prefer regular applications of great looking tire dressings that last 2-3 weeks tops. Having to battle to get the dressing off to reapply is no fun. Thanks for watching

    • @joevanseeters2873
      @joevanseeters2873 2 роки тому

      @@HawaiiDetailing Yes sir, I totally agree with you. I am feeling that pain now after spending two freakin' DAYS trying to get the Lone Star Matte Tire Coating off my Bridgestone Potenza's. I used a heavy degreaser, cleaners, scrubbing and scrubbing, power washing, and finally mineral spirits. That tire coating flaked up, was blotchy, peeled in various spots, and you can't layer it or it will definitely be jacked up. I was like "NOPE, it's not worth it". It's easier to reapply a good quality water based dressing every few weeks. I heard really good things about the Ultima brand Trim and Tire Dressing so I am giving that one a shot this time. It's pricey at 39.99 for a fairly small bottle (12 or 16oz) BUT, it does go a very long way because you only need a small amount similar to what you showed here with the Graphene dressing. This one you showed today looks promising.

    • @thinkforyourself5672
      @thinkforyourself5672 2 роки тому

      Same deal here bro. I used lonestar 6 months coating. Prepped it absolutely correctly. Mineral spirits, their special degreaser etc. They looked good at first. After 3 months they were peeling, cracking and turning white in spots. Looked horrible. Legitimately took me 3 hours of hard scrubbing with lacquer thinner and brushes to get them bare again. Never again

    Loving your garage. Sorry this question is off topic. I'm 67 and do about three paint corrections a week. My shoulder just isn't what it used to be and it is getting harder and harder to remove the polish without hurting my shoulders. Any technique or products you can think of that will reduce my effort? I use Paint prep spray's but need a better suggestion. Thanks and thanks for the video. I really like the look of this new Adams product. Real world, how long will it hold up if I'm driving 150 miles a week? Because this stuff is gorgeous.

    • @HawaiiDetailing
      @HawaiiDetailing  2 роки тому

      I wish I could help you but I am not sure of your process. I use a rupes polisher and rupes polishes. They polish well and wipe away easy. I would say a car lift to make better ergonomics would help also. The durability with the tire dressing was a few weeks only and it was kinda beat up a little at that point. It looks nice for a solid week to 10 days and after that a quick reapplication and back to great again. Easy to use product. What’s your polishing workflow and what part is bothering you? Thanks and sorry for the delayed response.

      Been good so far. They are really inexpensive so it will be a good value for sure. Should get plenty of uses out of it.

      Not as long as others I have used but should make it to the next wash. I have tested much more durable products on my channel. Check those out too. Thanks

      @@HawaiiDetailing yeah I threw it on a dirty tire just to test it after I bought it and it still seems to be holding decently a few weeks later, gonna determine how I really feel about it next time I wash ky car though

      It only lasted a short time. Will get you to the next wash but don’t expect a super durable product. I do like it. It’s a good tire dressing. Thanks for watching

    • @HawaiiDetailing
      @HawaiiDetailing  2 роки тому

      A few weeks like most other dressings. Will last to the next wash. That’s the important thing. If you want durability look at my lates semi permanent tire dressing vid. That stuff is tough. Thanks for watching
