Joe making the game so much harder for himself by not buying nodes/upgrades or using secondary fire on his guns. So many missed oppurtunities to use the pulse rifle mines on groups.

True, but the story dlc for part 2, Severed, opens up new story opportunities that they don't really follow for part 3
Bro, whining about a game getting a sequel is petty af, I hope they remake DS2 and DS3 so you’ll have a heart attack, the Callisto protocol cope is much resilient than I thought.

Yeah, DS2 was better than 1 on its balance beetween horror towards more action, like the Aliens movie...so its remake should and must be re balanced on that matter a bit, specially now after DSR was just leveled to DS2 standard of awesomeness👍
The elephant in the room is that Dead Space is a perfect horror game, Dead Space 2 leans more in to face paced action and looses some of that original survival horror element. I think, a remaster would be a better option here. Just as Joe mentioned, for a remake to happen they would need to change some things (fortunately that we don't have to relive the Dead Space 3 disaster, kill it with fire please).
Dead Space 2 is still the better game, it balances action and horror elements perfectly and it can be very scary when it wants to. But if they remake DS2 I hope they make it scarier while still having the awesome action set pieces
