The part where army dog was asked whos a good boy and he never replied never really clicked for me. I had to rewatch it and realize that in that moment he is recalling the burning villages, dismembered vietcong and drugs he used to block the pain. He knew that he is not a good boy and from there the whole movie changed me.
It's terrible what we do to our vets. We have to really paws and think about the repercussions, for all we know he's in a bathroom right now, heating chocolate over a spoon.
Honestly I feel like they went a bit too far when army dog called in a napalm strike on that village in 'nam. Did they really need to show the burning villagers screaming in agony and finally dying for a whole five minutes?
If you watch the director's cut, the reason behind the scene was because the boy has a splitting image to a young boy Army Dog saw on a recon op. This young insurgent went on to make an IED and blew up his battalion commander, only to get away.
Aren't you referring to another Army Dog movie and not the one this video is a trailer for? I watched this movie and didn't see a scene like you described.
I didn't like this movie, it made fun of the dog's PTSD and the Sergeant had a rapey vibe to him. It's like he tries to bang his daughter in every scene and Army dog is confronted by the horrors he saw in the middle East. It's his sergeant, yes, but at which point does Army Dog draw the line between morality and his dedication to the armed forces he served in? Unless you think incest is wincest, I would not recommend this movie for family audiences. Also really hated that flashback where army dog has his friend die in his paws and goes on a tirade by running around the lawn, pissing on the curtains and shitting in the kitchen floor. It's basically the only action you see beside the massacre and mass graves, the rest is just a creepy and shitty movie all round.
@@JustMe-ec2ph It's the same movie. I'm sure of it. Army Dog comes home riddled with PTSD, his pregnant bitch howls out in pain as he heats a spoon of chocolate in the bathroom. The sickos who made this movie deserve the rope.
I think some of the comments here are about another Army Dog movie? And not this one. I watched this movie and didn't see some of the scenes some of the comments were writing about. Thing is if this were a true story it would be absolutely stupid and irresponsible for any dad to take his daughter on a camping trip AFTER he was warned of dangers where they were going! It would be a little different if he was not warned before getting there but he was.
@@HangingTurkey If you are trying to say they cut out the parts of the movie I am talking about some of the comments here are saying was in this movie then it must had been cut after a lot of people viewed this movie? Otherwise the people making those comments wouldn't had known to mention those scenes.

One of my favorite movies
>The white phosphorus scene
I paused the film for a while
I can't believe Army Dog slaughtered that innocent Vietnamese family for simply asking why he was hiding on their property.

My favorite part is when the arachnids come to earth and army dog blows up the tanker bug with a dog biscuit grenade.
The rape scene was a little tasteless imo, I get it's message of war is hell and rations are low but did Army Dog really have to use barbed wire?
The BBQ scene where Army Dog freaks out and bites the kids arm really stuck with me

What was up with the scene where they used the charred bones of a Vietnamese mans corpse to play fetch?
The rape scene was a bit much
Is this the most important movie of the last decade?
Bark.
the torture scene in the beginning was a bit intense.
So........I guess I don't have to watch the movie now that I've seen the trailer, huh?
He's not an army dog. He's an errand boy. Sent by grocery clerks to collect a bill.
