- The bikes are done, now comes the ride! This is the official start of the FXR-Tour 2023, starting in beautiful Durango Colorado! Many of the builders including ourselves arrived a day early to relax and unwind before starting the journey from Durango Harley Davidson, to Tripp's Harley Davidson in Amarillo Texas. Follow along to see which builders completed their build, a quick view of their build, and see if all those riding made it to Amarillo trouble free. This is just part 1 or what will be a 3 part series documenting the trip as well as Born-Free Texas.

CHiPs FXR is dope!
The two bikes that I feel bring out the spirit of this tour best is Justin's bike and Randy's bike. Same FXR but complete ends of the spectrum regarding style and design. To me this is the beauty of motorcycles and how you can make each a representation of yourself without making it a cookie cutter bike.

yes, next year will be 10 new builders, however many of the builders from this year are planning on building another bike and riding in the tour just for fun

Used to go born free when I was stationed in San Diego missed the first one in Texas and now I missed the second one. Damn! Sucks not having insta or Facebook to keep up with stuff

Harley needs to bring back a stripped down FXR for less than $14K...keep the price down. Get more youngers buying their bikes.
Buell is trying but the price is double the $14k mark. I would love to see a modern fxr with a m8 for the 14-16k price point. No fancy add ons. Just like the customer build it up if wanted
