Hi Savannah, I’ve used lots of glitter as a “painting” medium over the years and I’ve found the best way to have more control over it is to mix the glue and glitter together in little containers and literally paint it on. Almost as if it was a pigment. It saves on the mess too! Just make sure not to use your best brushes and remember to wash them out before the glue completely dries. I thought the final piece was soooo sparkly and pretty, well done!! You did so well with the colours!
I think it might help with the colors of the digital piece to take inspo from beach photography or maybe hibiscus/plumerias and other tropical kinds of imagery, they tend to have really high brightness and contrast with bright whites, teals or blues and corals, and pops of intense color. That said, I do still really enjoy the very 80s Polly Pocket kinda palette combined with gyaru, I think it's very nostalgic and charming, in a fresh way!
Ah, so, Sparkly! Its looks so good and Nice! I never thought of using glitter for art before. For a first attempt I'll say you did a great job. Would love to see another try at this except with a slightly bigger canvas. ✨️👍🏾✨️💖
I love how this turned out ! I think the colors and the super crazy sparkle is 10/10! It definitely is satisfying to see the final piece and how shiny it is !
i really liked how she turned out 💖 i'm always down for whatever you want to do or try lol we're always our own worst critics, so i understand why you may have not liked it, but it did turn out really pretty.
I love this! She’s so SHINYYY~💕💕💕✨✨ I would definitely try it again, maybe another layer of marker or paint for the black outlines. I definitely wanna try this-
I have a question, would it be alright if I referenced the puppettes in a webcomic I'm making called lokiswirl?? They're so cool and honestly you're my biggest inspiration, I love your art so much
The different technique in application definitely had something to do with how your painting & the other artist's painting turned out. Next time, I would highly suggest using small squeeze bottles like the original artist used and see if there's any change. Either way, I think the painting looks great 🎉❤

Savannah, girl, you made it, now you have spam bots trying to impersonate you! Congrats 🎉🤣
I think what would be interesting is if you used those powder paints that you like a lot and then add glitter too.
i'm so obsessed she is soo precious and it's a very interesting medium it's scratch the childhood yummy glitter shiny itch
So cute and sparkly!!! I don't envy the amount of glitter that's all over your craft room now 😅
I think it may work better as an addition instead of the full medium with a cartoon style
I need to do glitter art of my character so badly
I love this! She’s so SHINYYY~💕💕💕✨✨ I would definitely try it again, maybe another layer of marker or paint for the black outlines. I definitely wanna try this-

I agree!!
Clear glitter over an illustration would provide a crisp image and be incredibly easy, but not as interesting of a process to show for content.
