Yes you can process with the same method as far as your RT is same & consistent for your required Peak as defined in the processing method

Hello, very good videos, they are very helpful. I have just started using gas chromatography with empower, previously I used it with other software, do you think you could attach an example of how to load the cormatographic conditions and how to process data with an internal standard.

Loading chromatographic condition to instrument via Empower is very simple as the instrument Method Editor UI is same as the Agilent/Shimadzu software. BTW which GC model you are using.

Kindly elaborate column washing and routine washing for alience and equity
Column washing is normally depend on your column chemistry.
In General if you are running Buffers as your mobile phase, you should wash the column with H2O first for alteast 20mins and than 40 to 50mins with organic solvent.
Same goes with HPLC.

Hi, I want to created a processing method for Head space GC. We are using empower 3. I have a sample set where I will run system suitability test, samples and standards. However, I have Internal standard in all my samples. The method describes to calculate the concentration based on:
ppm = (Rc/Rs) x Ps/Pc x dilution factor
Where:
Rc = ratio of component peak area and internal standard peak area in sample solution
Rs = ratio of component peak area and internal standard peak area in standard solution
Ps = quantity of solvent in standard preparation
Pc = quantity of sample weighed
I can add PS and PC and dilution factor in alter sample. However, how can I set up the processing method so that it will used Rc and Rs to calculate the concentration? Which means that it calculates based on Interanl standard in sample and in standard solution.

Linearity curve for the same concentration or multiple concentrations?
Are you asking about the %deviation of the curve or Standard deviation of replicate injections?

To clear any previously saved calibration curve from the processing method.
If you are calculating the unknown amount with pre-saved PM and putting the standard amount in either a sampler set or processing method then you can use this option.
