That’s awesome job. Man I need you for my drive. It’s in terrible shape. You gave me an understanding of why now. Makes total sense. The grade, ditches and such.
Did my first boxblade job this week. I used your techniques. Thanks very much. What a great tool. All went well except my neck hurt at the end of the day!
Great job! I have a 29 hp Kubota with a loader I’ve used for years. I just bought a box blade and discovered what a useful implement it is. A hydraulic top link, and hydraulic side link are pipe dreams for me. But the manual links are still really useful, and easy to adjust, but not on the fly. I can see from watching the piston adjust that the hydraulic top link gives you precise control and the ability to make fine adjustments as the terrain changes. 👍
Thank you for making this video! I’m a new property owner and working that box blade over my driveway to start a crown has been kind of been something that gets me anxious. I like how you tell folks it will take some practice to get the hang of it. So I’m going to get out there and just get some practice! Thanks again!
Nice to see someone on UA-cam doing road work that knows the fundamentals of working a road. So few know the importance of good drainage. I spent 40 years building and maintaining roads so I know a little about it. I came to learn about how to use the box blade I just bought and know very little about. We used dozers, excavators and road graders. Thanks. Great video.
I have about a mile of gravel road going up and down hills. I use a rake angled as necessary to pull the gravel from the shoulders back to the center of the road. I then use the box scraper to shape the road. This really works great and means that we seldom have to have fresh gravel over the top. I have a sub compact tractor with 3 hydraulic cylinders for the 3 links, which makes all the difference. Great video and appreciate the effort. Also echo other comments - working very cheap.
Watching a guy working at what he loves doing is a great inspiration, I'm a great believer in finding out what you love the most, and making a life from it. Here is the best example. Love these videos.
Great film which explained over and above the normal comments. I am looking at modifying a scraper with a three point hitch I already have to make a box blade for general leveling work around the house.
When it is good and damp like in this video I find that dropping the chisels down a few inches below the blade helps to loosen up the packed down gravel and bring it back to the service. I have a thousand foot driveway and have put a many a truck load of gravel on it over the years. That gravel just keeps going to China. It's there, it just has to be loosened up and brought back to the service with a box scrape with the chisels down. This has saved me a many a truck load of gravel in the past 5 yrs or so. Now I wish I had that packer, nice real nice.
I find using a regular angle blade first to cut the sides and pull the gravel back towards the center of the road and then come back with the box blade to finish off works best and although you need 2 tractors or have to switch blades it ends up being a faster and better job. You are right on the hydraulic top link for the BB, it makes a world of differance.
If you look at my comment above we use something that pretty much does that in one implement. The front blade cuts diagonally from one side to the center. The back blade cuts the opposite diagonal the full width minus about a foot. It requires pretty tight control of the top link and elevation, which is digital on farm tractors with 3 point hitches.
I have both type of blades but why go through all the trouble if I can do it with one. Now I do use the other type for pulling ditches that are full of dirt, mud, or leaves. May make a video on that sometime.
Good job! I know your price was low, barely covered your fuel I'm sure, but your being a good neighbor, and that's what this country needs more of. Not hurry for me and to, well everyone knows where, with you. Thanks friend and God bless!
Great job! I am a retired grader operator and I set my my own NH tractor similar to yours but also with one side cylinder for tilting. I also added 120# of weight to the rear of the box using 10# barbell disks, so the weight is adjustable. Works great for driveways, parking lots, new lawns, walking paths and finish work.
Nice work! I did my first pay driveway job last Saturday. Charged 50. The guy gave me 80. It took two hours but the driveway was cut really bad and about 200’ long and I put a load of dirt he already had on it and pulled some that had washed. I really enjoy doing tractor work. He was very happy with the job and wants me to come back and cut ditches and crown his road that comes to his drive. Anyway enjoyed the video and nice job spreading them rocks with the truck.
Great educational video. I’ve been using my own box blade and loader on my driveway for 13 years and I leaned several things from this video. Thanks for taking the time to video and share.
Thank you for the advice! I’m 20 running small excavating company and I use our loader tractor for a lot of finish grading. It’s just so much easier to haul around than my small dozer. I need a tilt like bad! There so convenient!
That New Holland tractor did a great job and the roller you had on it later also did a great job and you must be so pleased at how your driveway is looking now. I have to hook my tractor up to my box blade and do some leveling in my yard, and get ready to do the same in my sister's yard once the contractor is through building her new house. I don't think they will level it like it should be, but with my box blade, and landscaping rake I should be able to get the job done. My brother may give me a hand using his tractor and box blade also to get the job done. I loved the work you did and your wife must really appreciate you making it better to get into and out to the road.
Hi Dennis, Great video with a super job well done and many, many extremely good tips. I did a lot of tailgating of stone back in the day and I thought I'd give you some of my tips, especially where you have power lines and or tree limbs. Before you start, climb up and check out how the quarry loaded the bed, your going to want most of the stone back against the tailgate. What I would do is raise the bed up maybe 1/2 way pull forward and hit the brakes so as to knock the gravel back against the tailgate. You might check your progress out by climbing up and seeing how it went. You don't need it all back there, it'll raise your front end off the ground if the bed gets too high. Definitely do this before encountering that power line and you won't have to have the bed up very high as there's plenty of stone still back there against the tailgate. Once you clear your danger zone then go ahead and raise her up to where all the stone is out....... You probably knew much if not all of this anyway, but just in case.
The only thing I questioned was running for 8 ton of stone. You're already paying the trucking fee might as well haul a full load. Extra Stone never goes to waste
Great video I just bought a 03 tc45d and looking to become profecient on crusher run driveways in my area picked up a 84" box blade thank you for the video
Thank you for your clear explanation of what you do, why you do it, and the consequences of doing a job wrong. You are VERY reasonable if you did all that work for one hundred bucks! I wish you lived closer to Mineral, Va so I could ask for a quote on our driveway. Mike
Very good video. I didn’t know they made rollers like that for skid loaders and tractors. This video also shows why it is nice to have a forward and reverser on a tractor.
"One of these day's somebody has got to talk to that boy about those low prices,..unless he is a relative of these folks, or a good friend of course." ( LOL) Then again, it depends too on how much you charged for the aggregate, doesn't it? You've done a masterful job here Dennis, and 'educated' us on how to use a box blade, I can see now, why a buddy of mine is still having water in his driveway; I'll be telling him to watch this video . Thanks for this.
Yeah there is an art to getting to water to drain where you want it. I don't make anything on the gravel all that money goes to my dad since he bought it and hauled it to the shop with his trucks.
God Bless you. Life isn’t always about chasing that dollar. It’s helping our unfortunate neighbor who has nothing to give other than love and compassion. God has given us the tools and ability to make a difference. You sir, are doing that. Keep doing Gods work.
Thanks Dennis, I'm going to need to make a drainage ditch first, but this will definitely help me. Hope all is well Bud , finally got my first cut hay done, middle of July 👍
Thanks for talking me through this. I need to do this since I now have potholes. I have an area that has no ditch so I know what needs to be done from what you mentioned.
Have you ever used a track spreader? It’s just a v type deal that attaches to your apron and diverts the rock into the tracks. I don’t always like using ours but if you have a road that’s rutted bad it sure helps sometimes. It also makes a load go like two or three times further. We use ours mainly on oil lease roads that don’t get graded much just added rock. It’s something to think about anyway. I built mine out of some plate and mounted it with a receiver hitch. Also my favorite truck to spread with has a manual hoist control that doesn’t shut off the pto so you can raise and lower the bed as you go under stuff.
couple points not brought up in this vid. and thx by the way for this vid. it's useful info on box scrapers. the points missed 1. to remove pot holes u most often have to cut below them, and regrade. 2.potholes might be caused by higher edges, which are genreally caused by soft spots, saturated below the pothole, thus downward pressure Squished the sides up and out. 3. I never never lay fash rock over a surface that I haven't scarified.I was disappointed to see the ripper teeth up. logically, in this vid. the blade cut the surface of the tire tracks and scarified. but such was not covered in the narration. breaking the surface of packed material creates a bonding surface for which the new rock can adhere. otherwise it's like laying marbles on the floor and trying to walk on them. in very short order they get side cast. the new rock must be locked in. this fellow clearly is expert in his field, but mentioning these points helps those who are not.
$100! We are going to have to set a gofundme account for you. LOL Nah. Good to help out folks. Just be sure to tell them that they can't tell others how low you did the job.
Nice looking job as usual wouldn't expect anything less from you . Thanks for the tips ! Liked the looks of that roller can't recall seeing one like that before.
Very informative video, enjoyed watching it very much, as it allowed me to reminisce when I was a kid. Our driveway growing up was 1/4 mile long, and we utilized a pull behind grader on the on the old IH tractor, as well as a blade and loader. Thank you for sharing, and God Bless from Phoenix.
When I got tired of living out of a suitcase travelling the UK and abroad chasing construction project. I started my own company employing 7 men doing much the same as you. But boy I wish I had known about a box blade, it would have saved us a lot of trouble. The way we laid and /or resurfaced gravel driveways was with a JCB 3cx backhoe, fitted with a 4 in 1 front bucket. To adjust for camber we would slide the hoe to the low side and swing out the bucket, this would tilt the whole machine. Then blade the old surface with the front bucket fully open as a dozer blade. To final grade the crusher run we'd close up the bucket till just 3' or 4" open. Then blade out the open bucket would prevent the machine forming dips. You ran that load of gravel out just fine. Have you got an hydraulic tail board, or was it held on a chain as we did.
I have the same box blade. It is an amazing attachment for this type of thing. It also works great for leveling building sites. I have on occasion cut and filled feet of dirt with mine. Its like a tiny little cat and scraper
Very good. I use a T8.330 with an 8' box blade which has two angled blades that allow the hydraulic top link to control the net deposition left, right, or center. These farm tractors have digital lift control with a toggle for up and return which makes it easy to set the exact cut and come back to it time after time. I live on a plantation in northeast Louisiana with 4 miles of main road to maintain. I have found that just using an excavator with a smooth bucket allows me to maintain about a 6" ditch along both side for drainage, something that a homeowner wouldn't likely be happy with.
I sure wish you were in the Southeast Texas area, I need to hire someone who knows how to use a tractor like you do! I found an ad on a local website where people advertise goods and services for sale in my area, and it was an old man who said he could fix my driveway. But he didn't have a clue of what he was doing. He made it even worse. I still paid him though out of the kindness of my heart, and because I felt sorry for him, but now I've got to find someone else who can fix what he did wrong, and then fix what I originally wanted done in the first place. You did an excellent job on that driveway!
Very informative video, Thanks. Hydraulic top link and side....I am jealous. Your speed is higher, that takes practice, not to hard to make things worse if you're not careful. Gene
Greetings from Wisconsin! Great video, I'm on my way to do a 1 mile long driveway for a friend with my kubota L2501 and a box and road blade. As a truck driver, I love the look on your face as you 1st see that wire. You're one of the few people on here that knows how to actually use a box blade properly. The smooth drum is top notch finish work! I got the ol water filled roller, but at least it gets a little compression until the 1st rain comes thru. $100? Hmmm. I'm doing this for a couple cases of good Leinenkugel's beer. Great video, much appreciated
Just to follow up, he was thoroughly impressed with my box blade. Even just extending the top link a little to collect the larger rocks with the front blade as it smoothed out everything with the rear dragging. Beer was well deserved after 6 hrs we spent on it, but it was just a dually pickup width when we began, and found all the true width with my grader blade 1st, pushed off the rolled over sod with his skid steer coming behind. Crowned it good with the box and finished it. 1 mile driveway and now 2 duallys could meet and pass each other
Good job 👍 with taking the time to fix the sub grade!! Whether you’re spreading gravel or top soil if you’re sub grade is right it makes the job a lot easier and it comes out better.
I wanted to say, that's just what I needed, I've done a lot of grading on my land and; felt learned a good bit. trying to send some tractor work for money so the pressure is on lol Thank you for the video NICE TRACTOR 😇😁😇
It took me three years before I could get my neighbor to understand that he needed ditches for his driveway. I kept fixing his driveway and kept telling him he needed a ditch to make it drain and finally he figured it out. The top hydraulic does make life a lot easier.
Hubby and I are new subscribers. This is a great video. You have a beautiful driveway! Not sure which state you live in, but that's a long driveway to plow in the winter. Thanks for the great video!
I just bought my first compact tractor, TYM T264 (25 hp) and bought a box blade, I’ve used the box blade so much. I just need to add a hydraulic top link to my tractor.
Can I get a $100.00 day from you? LOL great work Bud that roller is something new to me I have not seen that as an attachment before, I have got to look into that
We'd get a call from an old age parson OAP, way be they would want just a few flag stones laid in the yard. So I'd ask them to find out if any neighbours needed work done and we'd roll all the jobs into one. Or we would suggest maybe we could do it with tarmac or asphalt, then on a day when we had some left over we'd dump at there place and scatter some white chips in before rolling to make a super job, all done FOC free of charge. Then a few days later the referrals would come in. Be nice it doesn't hurt.
I know this is an old video but I just found your channel about a months ago and have been catching up. but a week ago we had a call of a dump truck on fire. Ended up the driver hit a powerline dumping rock it burnt him up really really bad for some reason he got out of the truck after hitting. Or atleast he was out of the truck when we got on there it was ugly as far as I know he made it I haven’t heard anything other wise but stay safe brother I really enjoy watching your video’s seem to learn something every video. We just bought a 462 acre planted this year grain farm that we are gonna get cows and a couple horses for my daughter and wife and build a new home. The new House and barn fence we are doing this year it’s got a nice brick house we stay in now but we want a forever place so we are making it are farm kinda haha. I’m retired after a semi accident July of 2019 and it went to court and I now am retired because of the lawsuit the guy hit my semi in his with a container loaded full of oak logs as I was setting still 12 ft wide couldn’t see him coming and troopers say he hit me 70+ mph and never hit his brakes messed me up back shoulder surgery’s and mild brain injury get headaches prettt bad and can’t remember things a lot and ptsd but I’m here volunteer on the fire department to keep myself sane 😂 but I’ll quit rambling I just for some reason wanted to tell my story for the first time other then doctors and lawyer’s but just didn’t want people thinking my dad give me everything because I’m only 29 and retired yea I sued them but first two weeks they didn’t know if I was gonna make it and my wife called a lawyer to cover her and ate baby girl. But I’ll stop now thanks for the videos jake keep em coming sir
Your right, $100.00 is way too little. I used to do the same kind of work as you and made a good living. We would do the job a little differently from each other but would end up in the same place. You defiantly know what you are doing. I started out in the 60s with a Ferguson TO 20 @ $12.50 per and went up from there.
@@DLHFarms I'm also really enjoying watching you guys put up hay. Your rig for small square bales is slick. Nice New Holland equipment too, looks well cared for.
If I was doing that I look back in the pond be running over the road because I cut too deep cut in the side of the pond lol. What a beautiful job I wish you lived around here a hundred dollars ain't even worth pulling the tractor out of the shed
You are very good with those small tool! I also have a driveway that is maybe 101 dollars for you, shouldn’t take more than an hour or two! Thanks man. 2 for hundred must have been in-laws and out-laws😂😂😂😂😇
Thanks Dennis if I have your name right. Great video and you did interesting and excellent job. I had no problem subscribing after watching 2 videos...🙏🤙
Great info and well made video. Question for you; I am about to buy a box blade. Driveway is on a slope so I can not crown it. When sloping the driveway in one direction how do you match the low side of the first run to the high side of the second run (I hope that makes sense)?
That was a great video. Thank you. I recently bought a 40 Acre property in Northwest Arkansas and have been trying to fix the access roads to the back of the property. You taught me a lot. Your video skills are fantastic too. What state are you in?
Here’s a guy who puts his heart and soul into a job well done. Brings $200,000 worth of equipment to the site and charges 100 bucks for the work. Whatever the reason was for doing it so cheap, it sure as hell wasnt because he needs the money. My guess is he’s just trying to help someone out. Can’t beat a country boy.
Love the video with the camera view, sounds of machine grading, and finish result. Thanks for the video!
Dennis, you are a true professional. You show genuine caring in the work you are performing. Thanks for sharing.
Well thanks!
I loved this video!! Best useful instructional video on how to use a box blade to actually properly work a driveway!! Thanks.
Thanks for the kind compliment!
That’s awesome job. Man I need you for my drive. It’s in terrible shape. You gave me an understanding of why now. Makes total sense. The grade, ditches and such.
Good deal glad I could help!
It sure is great watching a man with your experience doing what you do best. Great video and commentary. thank you.
👍 Your welcome!
Did my first boxblade job this week. I used your techniques. Thanks very much. What a great tool. All went well except my neck hurt at the end of the day!
That's great!
You are not supposed to drive over your neck dude. Duh!!!
Great job! I have a 29 hp Kubota with a loader I’ve used for years. I just bought a box blade and discovered what a useful implement it is. A hydraulic top link, and hydraulic side link are pipe dreams for me.

That was actually a customers driveway but yes they we're very happy with it. Thanks for watching!
Great detail and video. The two customers caught a helluva deal that day for 100 bucks. Great video once again!

Thank-you for the course on how to box-blade a driveway. Fantastic video….

Good 👍

Good information & tutorial on the box blade use & driveway how to. You guys have all the cool toys. LOL Stay safe.
Gotta have the toys to get the job done! Lol

And thank you for the donation I just seen it!
Very good video. I didn’t know they made rollers like that for skid loaders and tractors. This video also shows why it is nice to have a forward and reverser on a tractor.
Yes a hydraulic shuttle is very useful when doing most anything really.

It won't be easy at first but you will get the hang of it.
Pro skills , nice equipment , great teacher . Thank you
Thanks!

Nah. Good to help out folks. Just be sure to tell them that they can't tell others how low you did the job.
Lol yeah
you are very good with that box blade, you show me how to adjust the box thank you,
Don D.
No problem Don 👍
Very informative! Thanx!! I've got a smaller tractor that does not have rear hydraulics but the principles are the same.
Good video. It amazes me how much different equipment you guys have.
We do a lot of different stuff so we have to have a lot of different tools so to speak. Lol
Nice looking job as usual wouldn't expect anything less from you . Thanks for the tips ! Liked the looks of that roller can't recall seeing one like that before.
Thanks Gregory. You don't see many rollers like that one.
Glad to help you out with some memories!
It's held with a chain.
I have the same box blade. It is an amazing attachment for this type of thing. It also works great for leveling building sites. I have on occasion cut and filled feet of dirt with mine. Its like a tiny little cat and scraper
👍
Sounds like you have a good system
Realizing how difficult the work is, you did a great job! Thanks for these videos, btw. Really appreciated. Sincerely.
Thanks for watching them Doug!
Im impressed. Simple common sense video. Thank you
No problem!
Thanks! I would help but it would take me a long time to get there in my tractor. Lol
I live in the Conroe area and use to do this and brush mowing....was $45/hr plus materials.
That's cheap, I normally charge $75 to $100 an hour.
@@DLHFarms .....that was fifteen years ago and was the going rate.....if I stepped into my backhoe it was $65.
The hydraulic top link (and side links) I have never seen but I want them now!
Great tips on using a box blade. I was a little nervous watching you back up the dump truck so close to the shoulder with the bank! LOL
Well it looked the same on the other side in the mirror. Little bit tight. Lol
Very informative video, Thanks. Hydraulic top link and side....I am jealous. Your speed is higher, that takes practice, not to hard to make things worse if you're not careful. Gene
Thanks for watching!
Haha someone that actually works cheaper than me. Good luck on your driveway adventure 👍
Yep I think a lot of people don't understand that.
Good video and another job well done.
I like that drum roller.
We really like that roller. We have a big self propelled roller but it's to much work just to move it in for one little driveway.
I can see that roller makes a BIG difference by packing in the rock nice and smooth before ripples can set in.
Yep it really helps
I wanted to say, that's just what I needed, I've done a lot of grading on my land and; felt learned a good bit. trying to send some tractor work for money so the pressure is on lol
Thank you for the video NICE TRACTOR 😇😁😇
👍👍
The hydrolics are nice, but with the right cant to the box you can run the outside down one side, up the other. (still providing crown)(
Made me nervous when you were backing up by the pond, that was a good size drop off
Sorry
@@DLHFarms don't be, very skilled...thanks for the video!
It took me three years before I could get my neighbor to understand that he needed ditches for his driveway. I kept fixing his driveway and kept telling him he needed a ditch to make it drain and finally he figured it out. The top hydraulic does make life a lot easier.
Some poeple don't understand I guess.
I used to work for the township on the roads and i think tailgating rock like that is an art.....just my 2 cents worth....
Yes it is, takes a lot of practice.
Nice job Dennis, very informative.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Love the control you have with the hydraulics on top link! I checked, $900 to install on my tractor, I am thinking about it.
That seems a little high for just the top link.
I was not clear. That is to install the hydraulics to run that top link. :-(
Ok yeah thats about right then. When you buy a new tractor always get at least one remote valve on it you never know what the future holds.
I've never seen a hydraulic top link on a box blade that's pretty cool
Yeah works great
Hubby and I are new subscribers. This is a great video. You have a beautiful driveway! Not sure which state you live in, but that's a long driveway to plow in the winter. Thanks for the great video!
Great video and that was a perfect drive to video show off a box blade.
Yes it worked out good for the video! Thanks for watching!
I just bought my first compact tractor, TYM T264 (25 hp) and bought a box blade, I’ve used the box blade so much. I just need to add a hydraulic top link to my tractor.
The top link really makes it nice
Great video!!!!! Will definitely use this method on our farm!!!
AWESOME 👍
I am impressed how well it turned out before the gravel was spread.
Thanks!
16 tons and what ya get? Another day older and deeper in debt!
Hey Mr D.. you're a good hand.. your whole attitude, attention to detail, doing quality work with integrity..a REAL AMERICAN, good to meet you..
Thanks appreciate that!
Can I get a $100.00 day from you? LOL great work Bud that roller is something new to me I have not seen that as an attachment before, I have got to look into that
Those rollers work great if you have a skid steer or a big tractor.
You spread gravel and trim bushes at the same time. Pretty slick.
Bahaha
Doing those $100 jobs is good for business and times helping people out they don’t forget and word of mouth is the best advertising one can get
That's true.
Yes, but then everybody else expects you to do it for $100 dollars as well! Maybe charge $125... 😂
Lol!
Very professional, GREAT job brother!!
Thanks!
What you need is side wing blades that fold down on both sides to reclaim the edges without leaving the track
Sounds like interview with a pit crew boss at Talladega.
Wow that's some story! Hope you enjoy your retirement and your new farm 👍
Trucks an tractors . Don’t get any better.😁 driveway looks great.
Thanks Kevin!
Good job. I maintain a 1600ft gravel driveway myself. The price of gravel has gone through the roof here. $17.00 a ton at the quarry.
Yep it's expensive!
Your right, $100.00 is way too little. I used to do the same kind of work as you and made a good living. We would do the job a little differently from each other but would end up in the same place. You defiantly know what you are doing. I started out in the 60s with a Ferguson TO 20 @ $12.50 per and went up from there.
Yeah I normally charge much more but I was helping a guy out that is less fortunate.
Great video as usual. Nice to have friends like you. You will get paid some other way.
Maybe from UA-cam! Lol probably not.
@@DLHFarms just don't talk about guns or freedom and you might get you tube money. Lol.
Dennis your an amazing worker .
Well thanks!
Drainage slope to both sides of the road is crowning. Having to slope to one side ( typically in a sharp curve) is called a super (with no crown).
Right
Great video! How would you cut open the ditch to runoff water off from the side of the road?
👍 you're a good man! Nice work!
Great how-to video, it looked 100 times better.
Thanks!
@@DLHFarms I'm also really enjoying watching you guys put up hay. Your rig for small square bales is slick. Nice New Holland equipment too, looks well cared for.
Thanks Dad always drilled me to take care of stuff when I was growing up.
If I was doing that I look back in the pond be running over the road because I cut too deep cut in the side of the pond lol. What a beautiful job I wish you lived around here a hundred dollars ain't even worth pulling the tractor out of the shed
Lol! That wouldn't be good!
bighurk30
Tractor isn't making any money setting in the shed and $100 is better than sitting on your butt all day, where I live, if you like eating.
Looks good. All i have is a blade. Works ok but you cant gather and spread too good. Spits it out the sides. Gonna have to get me a boxblade someday!!
Yeah box blades definitely work better for finish blading a drive.
I worked for a construction company all we use for grading was a setup like you're describing much more practical than dozer
Some jobs require a dozer when you get into bigger jobs
Yes sir I understand that completely.
Thank you for the great video ! Very nice Job and the road looks perfect.
Thank you!
You are very good with those small tool! I also have a driveway that is maybe 101 dollars for you, shouldn’t take more than an hour or two! Thanks man. 2 for hundred must have been in-laws and out-laws😂😂😂😂😇
Lol👍
Great job! Thank you for the instruction.
👍
Nicely done bud! Enjoyed watching it’
Thanks!
Thanks Dennis if I have your name right. Great video and you did interesting and excellent job. I had no problem subscribing after watching 2 videos...🙏🤙
Awesome! And yes that's my name.
Nice job. Wish you were in this area cuz at that rate, you should be able to do my driveway for about 40 cents.
Haha
Great info and well made video. Question for you; I am about to buy a box blade. Driveway is on a slope so I can not crown it. When sloping the driveway in one direction how do you match the low side of the first run to the high side of the second run (I hope that makes sense)?
Just have to play with the tilt until it does what you want
Kool Western Star dump truck 👌. Nice work.
Thanks
That was a great video. Thank you. I recently bought a 40 Acre property in Northwest Arkansas and have been trying to fix the access roads to the back of the property. You taught me a lot. Your video skills are fantastic too. What state are you in?
Thanks Tom I’m in Virginia
Here’s a guy who puts his heart and soul into a job well done. Brings $200,000 worth of equipment to the site and charges 100 bucks for the work. Whatever the reason was for doing it so cheap, it sure as hell wasnt because he needs the money. My guess is he’s just trying to help someone out. Can’t beat a country boy.
Finally someone that understands 👍
