Study Sunshine Coast International Student Welcome Event - Exploring the Sunshine Coast Hinterland

Study Sunshine Coast, Sunshine Coast Council and Study Queensland welcomed international students to the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Kangaroo Bus Lines collected students from TAFE Queensland Mooloolaba Campus and UniSC and travelled to the beautiful bush reserve of Mary Cairncross.
There, they received a traditional First Nations welcome to country and yarn, followed by a guided rainforest walk. After morning tea, students unleashed their creativity in a traditional First Nations art class led by Aboriginal artist Mandy Draper from Deadly Dotpots. The day included an informative presentation on bush tucker and concluded with lunch provided in the natural picnic grounds.
