I noticed the mod was updated yesterday just as I was finishing up editing this video.😅 There's a few new spells, some changes to spells you saw in this video, and the icon color for the "shove" spell was fixed. This mod pairs exceptionally well with the Garreg Mach Monastery map. A large, very explorable castle with it's own soundtrack. For those who want the "Wizarding World" experience.
Ahahaha amazing. Yeah as mentioned below, some parts of this have changed as of 4.2.0. The wand has a "basic cast", the fireball gesture has changed, you can grow or shrink stuff and grab a bunch of items at once.
Nope. It's a scripted mod and Nomad does not currently support those. The devs are working hard to bring scripted mod support to Nomad, but still have work to do.

Another great video! You’re a tad underrated imo. Edit: from my experience, polymorph is my favourite. Head into a dungeon, chickenify someone, use lashing to make the ultimate weapon.
Bro they HAVE to add avada kedavra. If they just make the "Shove" spell's effects on it, but green instead of red, and make it instant kill the enemy when it hits them, it would be the perfect mod for me
The fact that you can't really do anything in a time bubble and someone just casually walks up to you and, with one hand, snaps your neck with ease is pretty terrifying.
I found to do the Shockwave, I have to move my hands down then up and forward, think a small drop then a big hill I was starting to get real mad it wasn't working This mod probably has the biggest learning curve I've seen
@SpaceCadetKevin I had it titled toward the top of my fingertips but it just kept shooting the basic cast, not until I did that swooping movement that I got it to work
4:34 I found an easier way to use “control” so the way it works is to cast the purple spell at them, make a fist as move toward the enemy, then open palm and do the same

If I could make mods for this game i'd make a joke wand. Decapitate would remove whatever they're wearing on their head. Disarm would cut both their arms off. Dismember would only work on males, but would remove their... you know ;) 'Lightening' would create a little light for a period of time. Fireball would create a fiery bouncing ball. Polymorph would change the target into a low-res polygonal model.
There's actually a test version for u12 (pcvr) on Lyneca's discord (link is on his nexus profile.) It's a little buggy and the tutorials function is broken, but all the spells work fine. Well... The chicken spell is a little wonky, but everything else is fine.😅
The wand has a pretty big learning curve when getting used to the gesture casting. For targeting, point straight at what you want to target, hold the trigger, then quickly flick your wrist. Try that.
No problem. Getting used to the wand takes a good amount of time. You really gotta play around with it a lot before you start getting the movements down. Best of luck!😁
Nothing since the sanity mod is for Nomad and the Dire Wand is for pcvr. But if you use the Torso Split Gibs addon for Sliceable Torso then yes, there will be guts.😁

@@SpaceCadetKevin I have B&S downloaded on the oculus app on pc, so I dont know how to verify them, I have tried to reinstall the mod as well as updating it. it may be because of some quality setting, cause I usually sets everything to ether low or off. other than that I dont know.
Your guess is as good as mine on that, I'm afraid. I don't have much experience with the oculus app. Try tweaking the game settings, possibly something in post processing.
While the mod does take some inspiration from Harry Potter, it doesn't go so far as to use spell names from the franchise. In updates since this video, a lot of the spells have actually been given new names.

As I said in the video, you hold trigger and the alt use button (spell wheel button on quest 2, touchpad on valve index.) This information can also be found by reading the mod's description on nexusmods which is something I heavily recommend always doing.😁

Did you try tilting the wand toward your offhand while you perform the gesture? That's helped me get it more consistently.😁

That is definitely out of the ordinary. Try verifying the integrity of your game files through steam and reinstalling the mod.

does the mod save everything you have unlocked when you leave the game?
Yes. It has it's own save file for progression, but spells aren't locked behind the tutorial. You just won't know how to cast them.
