So, I picked up a hardback of The First Binding as it sounded worth a spin...... good heavens, , when it arrived I realised I will need to reinforce my shelf !!! That may be the most physically intimidating book I have bought in a long long time 😂
I hope so too. It takes some turns I didn’t see and has some drawn out moments (what book that long doesn’t) but overall I did enjoy it a lot and it gave me good fantasy vibes
Wolfsong has been on my TBR list forever, but I just haven't gotten to it. You said they're re-releasing the full series? Is it all out yet, or did Ravensong just release?
Ravensong and Wolfsong are the only two out so far from Tor as they’re rereleasing them all. It looks like the third one, Heartsong, is out from Tor in Feb 2024 and Brothersong is the final one due Summer 2024 so not too long to wait on them.
Thank you for good reviews... will check it out.😀

It’s definitely a biiiig book :)
This made me more excited to pick up The First Binding, hoping it gives me more of what I hoped Name of the Wind would be.

Even if The First Binding was plagiarising TNOTW... as long as he finishes his series id still be down to read it.
Truly, that’s a very valid statement XD It’s good and different enough that it felt like it’s own fun adventure to me.
